Cheiro muito forte de esgoto no banheiro, não conseguimos dormir bem pois o cheiro ia para o quarto, causando desconforto e mal estar durante o tempo que estivemos no local.

The room and bathroom were not really spacious, but quite enough. Also you can use common kitchen. Location of the hotel is just perfect, near the historical center, so you can explore the town by foot. The staff was very welcoming and helping, many thanks to them! And the most important one: I honestly had the best bed EVER in this hotel, so comfy! I'd like to come back just to sink in this again :D
The only window we had in the room was for the stairs inside the hotel, so it was noizy when the other guests are passing by (and it's impossible not to keep it open, I mean you need to breath). For that reason also could be stuffy inside the room.

The location was great. The facilities (room and shared kitchen) were perfect. In general, a very positive experience.
We got there around 10pm and there was no one in the house to.let us in. There was a sign to call the host but as tourists we only had internet and no calls. So it took some time to figure out a solution. Just make sure you tell them in advance if you don't have calls.

location, staff friendly and helpful, access to kitchen, clean
my room only had a window opening into the building staircase- no fresh air available. The bathroom also smelled of sewerage and with no window available this was not ideal.
not the best value for money compared to other places I have stayed in Portugal. I would not stay again if allocated this room but there may be better rooms in the guesthouse.

Good location. Spacious room. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice staff.
Weird smell coming from the bathroom. Kitchen was kind of dirty. Very thin walls.

Large room with comfortable beds. Staff is really friendly and great. We didn't ordered breakfast but our kid anyways got them. Overall great atmosphere and great place to stay.
Sound proof from outside is really great. You shut windows and there is barely sounds from outside. But inside sound proof is very minimal. If someone having a shower you will hear it. If someone sneezes it feels like someone nearby sneezed. We was lucky that we didn't had any loud neighbors, so it was quite and with comfortable beds we slept very good.

Simple accommodation in a downtown of Aveiro. I loved the location and friendliness of Sandra, our host.
The shower door would keep opening so we had to hold them closed with our feet during showering. But otherwise everything worked well :)

We contacted the property about our plans to arrive very late, which was not a problem at all. (On booking it was written check-in between 15h and 00h30) The system with key lockbox that they have is very practical. The info provided by the staff through mail/phone was very helpfull. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice,...
The temperature in the room... It was quite cold at night, there is only one small electric heater provided which is not enough to heat the whole room.

the staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful! the room was large and clean with a pretty balcony. breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the garden was as a peaceful place to enjoy relaxing!
it was a bit noisy with street foot traffic when the restaurant nearby closed but that was only for a short time

We were greeted kindly, and we because most of the staff did not speak much English, it felt very homey and not like a hotel which is what we were looking for. They gave us choice of the 2 available rooms, and we stayed in the garden room, which was perfect for us. The accommodation is very central and about a 5 minute walk to the canal and shops. When we left, our host was so kind as to allow us to leave our pack packs behind reception until we needed to leave town. Breakfast was continental yet elaborate with different kinds of foods for everyone! The garden was also a nice touch.
It was a bit humid due to no fan in the bathroom but we never felt sticky or uncomfortable and there was a large fan which helped!

The food smell. Someone was cooking and there was a very strong smell in the floor where the rooms are. Besides that, everything good.

excellent location. in the centre but quiet. Nice staff.
A bit old (but not a problem). A bit cold at night. it would benefit from some warmer duvets or better heating in the room.
