Located in the the center of the old town of Tallin, this is a great place to start exploring a town with many centuries of history. Everything is within easy walking distance.
Since everything is close by, so are the bars and restaurants. Sometimes people are having fun well past midnight. Consider bringing something for your ears if you wake up easily at night. (Personally didn't have that problem once I found out I had missed one open window)

We had a water leak.
It was fixed very quickly and wasn't an inconvenience really.

Great location in the heart of Old Tallinn, close to buses and trams but not too close to the main party streets to be overly noisy on weekends. It is situated over a bar but as I was on the top floor of an old, solid building the sound from below was minimal, and the additional code access door separating the bar entrance from the apartments meant that I felt very safe as a solo female traveller throughout my trip.
The apartment is a simple but well renovated old style room; clean, cosy and warm, with plenty of storage space so it never felt cramped. The bed is very comfortable and while the bathroom is on the small side, it was absolutely fine for one person and the shower had fantastic water pressure, better than a lot of hotels I have stayed in. Plenty of towels and toilet paper were also provided.
Amenities-wise, the apartment is equipped with a small kitchenette - including crockery, cleaning stuff and utensils - a fridge, kettle, 2 ring electric hob and a sink. There is also a TV, hairdryer and a small washing machine (bring your own detergent sheets or similar!) and in the wardrobe I found an iron, ironing board and a clothes rack for drying laundry. In short, everything you need to be pretty self-sufficient for a few days and enjoy the city without needing to find practicalities elsewhere, There are two small supermarkets within a few minutes walk (one open 24 hours) if you find you need any essentials in a hurry, and plenty of take out and eat in restaurants and cafes.
The sheets/towels were changed once during my week's stay and while I never met Katja, the host, it was good to know that had I needed anything else, they were very welcoming and responsive to messages via Booking.com.
It was not a problem for me, but anyone with mobility problems should note that this apartment is at the top of the building, up two flights of stairs, and due to the age of the place there is no elevator.
If any further renovations are made to the place, the addition of a small microwave would be a nice touch - I saw one or two food items in the supermarket I was curious to try but they required oven heating.

Unique style, beautiful rooms, amazing place. definitely one of the favourites apartments where I ever stayed.
It’s not easy with parking spots. Really expensive, so before you go just have EuroPark app.

Very good 😊

Very convenient that there is PIN code entry, good to have a washing machine, warm floor
Very noisy from the bar, even when I woke up at 5am on Saturday, there still were shouting people on the street. In the room 3a the music is heard through the floor till 1 am in working days, in 3b just loud people from the street

Sauna 8 is one of the most impressive locations I stayed in Old Town. Other than Kadriorg, it’s like a time traveling machine. Even the natural born Tallinn-folk are blown away by this place.
Nothing, not a thing.

loved the location, in the hearth of the old town, very nice service and login instructions
stayed in appartment no 4 (I guess the smallest one:) , would prefer a bit more light in the apartment as well as clean glasses(assume left dirty by previous guests)

Check-in is great. Entry to the building and room is a code and it’s so nice not having keys. The space is huge and attractive, bed is firm and I thought very comfortable but some may not like it, and I loved the pillows. Good pillows make such a difference. My deciding factor on this place was the washer so I appreciated that and having a laundry rack in the wardrobe. The building is in an alley off one of the main roads in Old Town and it’s pretty quiet from outside noise but extremely convenient to get everywhere.
You can hear everything from the room next door even when the other guests aren’t being loud. The floors and baseboards need a good vacuuming. Even with wearing sandals, I kept getting dust bunnies. It cold in the room in most of the time, one time I looked at the thermometer on the wall and it was 10C. I wasn’t in the room much and there were enough blankets so the temperature wasn’t that big of a deal but it’d be nicer to be a bit warmer when you’ve been in negative degree weather all day. Even with the negatives I’d stay here again if I was back in the area.

The location was perfect. In the city centre. The street was full of people during the night, but you couldn´t hear anything. The apartment was silent.
Nothing.

The decor of the room was stunning, and good location.
Room was above a very noisy bar, and didn't provide dishwasher tabs.

The location of the property couldn’t be any better. Very close to everything in the old town. the place was very spacious and well design. The heated floor in the bathroom was a nice surprise. wifi was stable and I was able to work with no problems. Check in was so smooth. They send me the instruction and codes 48h prior my arrival and all worked perfect.
Right underneath the apartment is a bar. I was there for two nights- Thursday night I did not had any problems. But come Friday the place was blasting load music to early morning hours. If you are light sleeper and there for the weekend might not be the place for you.

Excellent locatin and great staff, hotel itself was perfect. Good sound insulation from the nearby bars.
A lot of glass on the ground nearby but from the bars around not the hotel.

The apartment in Sauna 6 where we slept was very nice, confortable and big enough for 4 persons, as well as centrally located in the center of Tallin. I can't evaluate the apartment in Sauna 8 booked but the entrance of the building where it was located was really nice
We have discovered at the end that we slept in Sauna 6 while we have booked an aprtment in Suana 8, where the building and the entrance were much nicer than Sauna 6. The entrance of the building in Sauna 6 was horrible, everything looked distroyed. In the apartment there was a leak from the shower

Host was really nice, we get early check in. Perfect location for us, in the center of old town.
Both sinks were clogged and using them was difficult. Apartment wasn't clean, towels had yellow/brown stains. Crumbs left on table. Dusty floors. No shower gel, and and soap was left in the shower, therefore no soap for hands :D

Great location, really nice apartment that was cool on hot days, very comfortable beds & a fab kitchen
Only minor points; Would have been nice to know how to use aircon and blinds upstairs. Need a bin, in upstairs bathroom also a means to move water to drain on wet floor would be useful.

Lovely apartment, very central and cute design. Very easy, yet secure check-in and access to apartment. Next to a good cocktail bar.
The location IS next to a bar, which we knew, so we are not complaining about that, besides the windows did very good job in cancelling the noise. The fridge 2m away from bed though, that was harder to ignore at night. The floors were quite dusty as well.

Good size, big bed and great location. You have everything you need in the kitchen.
Mattress was a bit old.

Katja is super, super responsive and very friendly! The property is super modern and very well located. For us, it was perfect because we like to be part of a lively neighborhood. A very nice stay!
Nothing!

excellent apartment, good location, nicely decorated.
i would give 10 if there was some basic stuff like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and more than 1 toilette paper along with a some kind of a mop for the bathroom.

It’s a great space, clean and comfortable.
It’s (directly) above a cocktail bar. The music and bass on Friday and Saturday night are so loud sleep wasn’t possible until the bar shut at 3/4am respectively.
I saw a review about street noise but was something else.
