Lovely stay close to Bologna.

We had a good stay at Case Osti, close to Bologna. We stayed one night, just to end our 3 week trip near the airport of Bologna and with a lovely pool. Checkin was easy and we got own keys by Staff and 10 minutes later already at the pool.You have a bus stop right in front of the house, but we arrived by car and therefor decided to grab some pizza in Bologna by car.

Pleasent. Good value for money.

Very clean, neat and new. Good location for people, who want to leave to the airport early in the morning. It only takes 15 minutes to Bologna airport.

Maybe a bit too much technology without instructions. Couldn’t for instance turn the shower on - it was complicated and confusing. And the lights whith a remote controlling system - there was one light which turned on, when neighbour from upstairs at 2:00 a.m. pushed a his/her remote controller button in the kitchen. And one thing is potentially very dangerous and forbidden in finland: You should have the possibility to open the outdoors and gates from inside without a key. If you have fire in the room, you can’t escape from it whithout a key.

Beautiful house and room but noise from the trafic.

Very nice house and room. Clean. Safe parkingplace. Access to the kitchen with cafe and tea all time. Nice garden and easy access to the City of Bologna. Bus just outside the gate.

Noise from the trafic outside. That depends of cause on witch room you get.

I wish that we had stayed somewhere else.

B&B Case Osti has great reviews on both TripAdvisor and Booking.com, which is one reason why I booked it. Proximity to the Bologna airport was the other. While it does lie close to the airport, I cannot understand why the review praise it so highly because our experience was anything but praiseworthy. First, we had difficulty finding the hotel because there was no sign on the street identifying it. We did have help from our GPS, but it said that we had arrived at our destination when there was no evidence of the hotel. When we mentioned it to the young woman who checked us in, she said that lots of other people had no such difficulties. Maybe so, but not a good way to welcome guests who had experienced such a problem. She also pointed out how the name of the hotel appeared near the gate on a small metal plaque that one could only read if close up, and this was presented as an example of how there was adequate signage. Later we spoke with a woman who owns the hotel, and she said that she didn’t put a sign out because she didn’t want people knocking on the door looking for a place to stay. After check in we were taken to our room, which was in an annex that was outside the main complex and reminded me more of a cheap motel than what the photos on the websites represented. There was an ashtray overflowing with cigarette butts, but unlike a motel, the parking spaces near the rooms were not available to guests. Instead we had to park behind the closed gate, which was more secure but necessitated that we move our luggage a fair distance. Because of the location we needed to use three keys to gain entry to the room. In total the key ring contained seven keys, all of which we needed during our stay. The room itself was small but adequate for our one-night stay before flying out. In fairness it was clean, and the bathroom looked quite nice. The kitchenette was in the hall and was sparsely furnished.

Restful stay in a wonderful place!

My partner and I have been staying 10 nights in this wonderful place. The landlords are welcoming and adorable. The pool and garden are spacious. The location is also perfect as very close to the center of Bologne. Very good quality for the price. We will definitely come back!

.Lovely, quiet stay with excellent pool and communal areas close to Bologna and airport

Easy links to Bologna, beautiful pool, clean rooms, gorgeous setting. It was very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Approx €15 taxi to Bologna centre and one bus an hour until around 8pm for €1.50. Note that some buses only take cash, others only card which was a little confusing so be prepared for both options. No ATMs nearby so get cash before.

Staff were quite abrupt about leaving after checkout and we were unable to stay in the communal areas after checkout. We were told we only paid for the evening and could not use the pool for two days as we had not paid. We had been staying for a few days before and did not realise it may be a problem when it was quiet.At that point there were only 4 other guests in the area and all the beds were free. We would have happily paid for a day pass but we were told we must leave at that point and check out was 11am so that's when you leave. A member of staff had helped us book a taxi for the afternoon so we did not realise it was an issue to stay when there were so few guests at the time. Other than the ending, we loved our stay.

Great stay, great pool.

Our plan was to book this place, so we can enjoy the sun and pool on a hot day, and in the evening we can go around and enjoy Bologna. And so it was. The reception was very friendly. The pool was even better then expected. I haven't seen any "honesty bar" since my study days. I just had to use it for at least one beer.

The beds are a little too soft for me.

meh.

the pool area was lovely. fairly close to Bologna though you definitely need a car. reasonably priced.

you can hear EVERYTHING from the next room- too much- way too much. the couple next door woke us up every morning with some vigorous in bed exercise- the rooms had a connecting door. mosquitos were a real annoyance. badly equipped kitchen and no table or chairs for four people- let alone two- to eat. breakfast was a few industrial individually wrapped commercial cookies/stale brioche/hard little toasts. no milk for coffee or tea and these sad items were not restocked each day. we ended up leaving the propert for breakfast. we discovered a used and open jam container in the bowl for the jam containers. no cleaning service. there seem to be a variety of rooms- ours was outside the compound and in an odd block of slightly run down apts. maybe we just drew the short straw.

The size of the pool was really nice, bigger than expected, the garden was really beautiful and calming, the room had a good vibration.

Amazing

The host is very kind! He showed everything she explained. The accommodation is nice with a huge pool. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening, but not everything can be perfect. It is in a comfortable, quiet location. The room is clean !!!! This will be my new accommodation when I go on a business trip!

Great stay, amazing pool

We were looking for somewhere out of town and near the airport. Case Osti fit the bill perfectly. Added bonus the amazing pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We had our own car, maybe out of the way if you don’t have one. Modern, clean, comfortable.

The apartment has stairs. No problem for us, but something to be aware of.

Superb

Nice, well built and decorated house with a lot of amenities. Coffee machine and capsules for every taste. Wonderful host, booked dinner, recommended menu. Nice garden and swimming pool.

Most beautiful B&B

Everything about this place is magical. I can come back to Bologna a 100 times for just this place!

Can't really think much. Probably for the people who don't have their car and like to eat out, may not love it but we did. We ordered food the two nights we were there and it was pretty cozy. The location is in the outskirts which is beautiful but for pedestrians, it might be a bit tricky.

Ideal for our one night stopover before a morning flight from Bologna airport.

An excellent location for us only 12 minutes drive from the airport. The room is very well decorated and had everything we needed. We were made to feel very welcome by our host.

Parking was rather a long way away from our room.

Perfect!

The gentleman who checked us in was extremely polite and assisted us with everything. We had a small issue with the taxi at 2.45am (they arrived 30 minutes earlier then scheduled) and the staff came to assist us with the bags. The hotel is not very close to the airport, our taxi took 20 minutes (20 euros)

Please put a sign outside, it's really hard to understand which doorbell we should ring

To us only the swimmingpool and location close to Bologna was worth it.

The swimmingpool is very large and beautiful. The room and bathroom looked pretty new. In just 15 min. by car you are in lovely Bologna.

Be aware that you stay in an apartment next to a villa. You use the swimmingpool of the villa. There is no food available (also no breakfast). Besides the check-in there is no further contact with the host. Our room was pretty small and there where no muscito nets in front of the window. Drying your swimmingpool towels was a challenge.

Exceptional

Really friendly and helpful staff. We loved the dog of the owner, super sweet!! The swimming pool was huge and clean. The room looked great and we liked the art in the room and accommodation. We could take coffee and prepacked croissants for free and when we arrived too early, we could check in early and use the swimming pool. Great service!

Superb

Very nice and hospital owners. Everything was very well organized and clean. We felt really welcome. Rooms where large and the bathroom new and well equiped. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool very nice.

The only thing we can say is that the breakfast is minimal. It’s in the description, so we knew why it was not a problem for us.
