The best hostel I've ever been so far! Very homey and cozy. I could have seen that the owner really cares about the environment from many little things. Handmade cakes and cookies, free tea and coffe. What else can I say? Just magic!

Free breakfast cereal and coffee!
Would be helpful to have a little bench in the shower stalls for keeping clothes and towels dry :)

super cozy stay, loved the rooms and high ceilings, there’s a fire place and my partner and I nabbed monopoly for a game every night!

It was gorgeous and the communal kitchen was one of the best I’ve seen, so clean and had everything you need and more. the little living room was so cute and comfy, the veranda was lovely too
there could’ve been a couple more toilets when the place is fully booked

The staff is great and helpful, everything was really nice and clean, I would definitely recommend it. I really enjoyed the outdoor space and the common area.
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the sound isolation not too good.

It was very comfy and you could definitely see that the owners are putting much effort into it. Also, Anette was very helpful when we asked her about some recommendations on hikes and about the closed tracks at the moment. The atmosphere is very familiar too which is why you are going to meet many other guests (who were all very cool people). In addition the veranda is sourrounded by greening which makes it look so nice. The kitchen has everyyou need, also enough space to store your stuff and in the living room you just immediately feel like you are at home. Furthermore, they had so much information about tracks and the Blue Mountains over all provided.
The bathroom had a little weird smell sometimes (but everything was clean!). And you need to have such considerate other guests like I had, otherwise you will hear a lot through the thin walls, but they officially also have the quiet time set from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. so you should be fine. Maybe open a window during night if you are staying in a dorm room because with five people sleeping in a comparatively small room it could develop some thick air. Sometimes the Wi-Fi had problems working but probably you will also have „better“ stuff to do than watching movies every evening or something like this.

It was a very homely hostel with loads of different board games.
Annette was very helpful with the area and which hikes we could do around the blue mountains.
Would go back if in the area

Good kitchen with free breakfast. Good heated rooms and very comfortable beds.
Lounge area a bit small when all rooms fully occupied.

My friend and I stayed in twin room. The beds are comfortable. It's not a party hostel. Quiet time at 10PM - 7AM. The guests abide to this rule and the room gives a relaxing vibe. The room, bathroom, lounge room and kitchen are pretty clean for hostel standard considering the bathrooms are shared between male & female, we didn't see any issue with cleanliness at all. Hand soap & body wash are provided and always thoroughly filled up which I found to be very generous. Very good value for money. Good location just a stroll away from Katoomba town center. Will come back for sure
We arrived earlier than the check in time at 2PM. Although we knew we couldn't check in yet but we weren't able to enter the premise to sit inside and to simply ask if we were allowed to drop a small bag of our extra clothes. We didn't pack much since we only stayed for a night but considering we were going to go hiking, carrying the extra load was pretty heavy after a few hours. Just a minor inconvenience though

An amazing and peaceful place to stay 🤗

This place really exceeded our expectations. It feels incredibly homely, it’s slightly old fashioned (in a nice way). The kitchen/dining area had a friendly atmosphere and the surroundings are stunning
Only one thing would be having to walk downstairs for the bathroom (but this was minor compared to how much we liked the hostel)

Peaceful hostel with very cozy cottage vibes. Lots of books and boardgames, fireplace, great location and chill vibes and people. They are eco-friendly and even the toiletpaper was so good! 😂 They have a bathtub, cake and cookies that you can eat with a small donation to charity. Felt like I was on a retreat. Great location near three sisters and Wenworth falls.
Nothing bad to say.
