Great stay in a lively place

The room was cosy and clean with a lovely view from the balcony. The staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The food was first class, with generous portions and great produce.

No blind on bathroom window for when your showering.

Bel hôtel !

La vue sur la mer (chambre 8), la tranquillité du quartier, la proximité d'Oban et des îles alentours, chambre cosy et de bonne taille, parking privé, bar, personnel accueillant. Restaurant typique, bon rapport qualité prix.

Isolation sonore, douche un peu petite.

Mooie ligging aan het water, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, heel goed warm ontbijt.

Geen rek om je koffer op te zetten.

fantastic little pub to stay at ...good food and friendly staff

I loved this pub ...has an amazing atmosphere and amazing views to enjoy a beer or meal ...meals were very nice pub meals and rooms very large and comfortable...the staff were super friendly and helpful ...great views of the bay and bridge...great breakfast

it suited us, but if you wanted the action of oban, it's a distance away from city centre so not walking but 10 minute drive so not a big drama

Brilliant , Outstanding, Wonderful , Excellent

Everything was outstanding, The staff were wonderful , made you feel very welcome. The evening meal and breakfast was so tasty and well presented. The room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view. Thankyou to all the staff for making the start to our Isle of Mull holiday so outstanding

The perfect end to a 4 day/night road trip before heading back to the city.

The food was fantastic. We ate dinner and breakfast. The value for money was excellent. The room was great with a balcony overlooking the Connell. The bar was small, but quiet, a great wee pub! Would stay here again.

Lovely inn away from the bustle but with nice amenities.

The sea views from our rooms were amazing and it was super convenient to have the restaurant right on site after a later evening arrival from our day of adventuring. I want to thank Big Nick and Wee Nick for very capably welcoming us and for so ably managing the inn while the owners were away on holiday.

Small friendly hotel which is worth a visit.

Just a little outside Oban with a beautiful view n a terrace for good weather. Well sign posted, a good amount of easy parking. A bright dining area. Food was lovely and well made. Good options for breakfast n dinner. Staff friendly, chatty n helpful. Rooms comfortable n clean.

Bit of confusion of which door to leave through to get to car park in the morning as it had changed from previous evening but staff kept you right.

Prima ontvangst bij aankomst, goede kamer, eenvoudig maar goed ontbijt met diverse keuzemogelijkheden. Mooi uitzicht vanuit onze kamer en de ontbijtzaal.

De douchecabine was een beetje aan de kleine kant maar de badkamer voldeed verder prima.

Great value little hotel with stunning view!

The location, view (from retaurant/bar) and peacefulness. Controllable heating, we could hear or cool the room as we wished. Very good breakfast, with lots of choice.

Miniscule shower! The unit worked fine but the cubicle was unnecessarily tiny. A bigger one could easily have been fitted at very little extra cost! Why do some hotels fit the smallest shower cubicles possible?🤔 Limited menu for evening meals!

cozy and warm, a bit tired but ideal location and lovely views

The cooked included breakfast was great. Lovely sea view, warm rooms.

Toilet had been used and not flushed or cleaned before we checked in 🤢💩 Could do with a bit of sprucing up in places, I.e the sealant going a bit mouldy in the shower

Brilliant hotel in everyway

I loved everything a fantastic hotel in every way.I give it full marks.The owners and staff were so warmly welcoming and treated me with such kindness and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was beautifully cooked and was delicious at every meal- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and cosy despite the cold outside in the open air .Tea and coffee facilities in every room. Soap,hair wash lotion body wash lotion were in the room. I have to say the hotel was spotlessly clean one of the cleanest I have stayed in in my life I sincerely mean that,The open fire in the bar/dinning room created a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The view from the dinning room over the Loch was spectacular. The hotel is very reasonably priced and great value. I had a brilliant experince in the Lochnell Arms and I will be definitely returning.

Location and comfortable

Shower was a little small. Need to be thin as a piece of spaghetti to get in and out and the step down was not easy with a bad knee

Evening meal on first night was very good and great they did small portions. Breakfast was excellent really good choice. Staff were all really helpful and friendly.

A good stay, let down slightly by the evening meal. Conveniently located for ferry to Mull.

Great view from bedroom and very nice local walk on shoreline. Breakfast was very good.

I didn't really enjoy the evening meal, although the portions were generous.
