The underground garage to safely park motorcycles. It was also free. The location was close to motorway routes, ideal for heading south into Austria. It was nice to eat outside in the warm summer evening.

Friendly staff, everything spotlessly clean, great value for money on breakfast, suited our needs.
9.0 / 10.0
Despite being close to the motorway the room was quiet (perhaps because there was a wall in front of the room window, so no view). The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. Breakfast was fine: decent buffet, hot chocolate was unexpectedly good. Be aware that check in closes at about 22:00 -- I got there in the nick of time. The staff were good about my late arrival.
The area around the hotel did not really look so inviting for going for a walk (but it was cold & late when I arrived)... the river was not far away, so maybe that direction is OK (albeit right next to the autobahn)

Great stop over for one night on a road trip. Close to the Rhein for a lovely walk, or run if you're feeling inclined. Dinner menu was quire varied and a good breakfast. Staff super helpful.
Not the prettiest of locations but we were only there for a night and it suited us.

Perfect stopover location, great value and the under ground car park for our motorbike was a real selling point. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, food is good and hotel is clean throughout. Excellent

Clean, well maintained, simple, comfortable.
Being on a busy road was too noisy to open the windows and required shutters closed at night. The front desk was only staffed part time.

Easy access. German standard. No fancy no fuzz.
The closeness to the Autobahn. Couldnt have the window open for the noice.

Very clean, efficient and helpful staff. Ideal location for our stopover on way to Bavaria. Despite being near motorway it was very quiet. Reception recommended a good local pub in the town for food as it was a Monday and their own restaurant was closed. Right on the Rhein with access to Riverside path.
Nothing to not like.

Clean, fresh, marvellous personell. One of those places You really want to go back to. Why not explore the Pfalz wine region?
The location it not 100%, but on the other hand: it is silent. And they
have AC in every room.

A lovely welcome to two dusty and tired cyclists with help with our bikes and bags.
A clean, spacious room and a great breakfast.

Although located very close to the motorway (which was convenient for access) road noise was not an issue.
The room was to a high standard and immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the restaurant was closed on the Saturday we were there (which we were told) the breakfast was very good with a good selection of cold and hot food.
Nothing, the hotel was as I expected, if anything better.

We got a room on the inner yard side. It was clean and quiet. We paid for the breakfast which offered a nice choice of food; cold and warm dishes. The internet connection worked fine. There were parking places on the hotel premises. The location of the hotel was good; we took a train to the city center and the station was only a couple of minutes away by foot from the hotel.
The matrasses were too hard for us.
9.0 / 10.0
Very easy access directly off the motorway, the elevated section of which lies directly in front of the hotel. Given this there was no intrusive traffic noise throughout the night to disrupt a good nights' sleep. The hotel staff, who I assumed were the owners, were very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The restaurant was frequented by other guests and locals and the meals well presented and good value. Similarly there was an extensive breakfast buffet.
Struggling to post anything here. As I'm a vegetarian I could always do with having more menu choices - but I could say that almost everywhere - so is not a specific critism of the Vater Rhein.
