Belle piscine. Personnel très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

God frokost. Hyggelig betjening. Flott utsikt mot det Indiske hav.

Pool and restaurant are very nice and have a beautiful sea view. The food is also good and serves both international and African cuisine.
Problem was our room which was literally FULL of mosquitos, both alive and death all over the pavement, the nets and sheets of the bed. We counted AT LEAST 20. Unfortunately the net had a lot of holes so it was really difficult to protect ourselves and have a good sleep
The room was not cleaned enough. It was full of mosquitos

The food was excellent. The location is wonderful. The ambiance and quietness were wonderful.
There were so many mosquitos. The housekeepers leave the door open when they are cleaning and mosquitos flood the room; we killed over 20 mosquitos in 1 night. We also had to move from a Deluxe Room to a Standard Room because the toilet was broken. The rooms were the same size, but not as nice looking. In addition, every time we went for breakfast, they kept trying to charge us for an extra person because a standard room does not include breakfast. They even chased us out in the parking lot when we were leaving because they insisted again we pay for breakfast.

wonderful setting and staff were very friendly and attentive to guests. Food in restaurant was good.
Wifi was pretty much non existant although a colleague's room had a signal, another colleague and I didn't. As i was travelling on business, this meant i encurred a rather hefty bill for roaming charges.

Dinner and the pool and beach access
The toilet ran forever and bathroom was not super clean at check in. Breakfast was so so

Staff were very friendly. The food was good.
There were issues with mosquitoes in the room I could have done without. Also air-conditioning in the suite I had booked was not working. I was surprised because they KNEW the AC wasn't working but put me there anyway. After I complained I was moved to an equally good suite.

Great location, amazing staff, excellent food. The room was spacious and air conditioned. Especially Asia and the rest of reception crew.
Nothing

Food at the restaurant was amazing! Staff are very friendly and kind. The room was comfortable. The pool was clean.
Being so close to the city the beach had quite a lot of plastic etc. The staff were cleaning the beach in the morning, so not the fault of the hotel that it is dirty.

The pool is lovely, and the restaurant serves nice food in the lunch/evening. The breakfast is fairly good but nothing super special.
The rooms are fine but a little dark. Outside it looked like there should have been seating areas but there weren't any cushions so it would have been quite uncomfortable.

The restaurant was good value for money. Depending on cheff, some excellent dishes.
Houskeeping dit not clean propwrly at all. There was mold in my room.

The food comfort and view
Far from anywhere else and beach not often accessible . Gym was very poor lacking equipment

it was nice to enjoy our last days in Tanzania in a quiet place by the pool
the pictures are a bit misleading, the bar is not immediately by the beach and the beach is not clean. the prices like many other places in Tanzania are excessive for no good reason.

The peaceful garden made with love, great staff, nice room and shower
6.0
pretentious but not delivering, evening staff not very competent, too many single drunk men walking around, definitely not for families, way too far from airport (1 hour and 15 mins), booked a suite for 2 adults and 1 child with double bed and sofa bed but were charged for our child in extra bed and her breakfast, room was definitely not a suite, price-quality was off

The hotel is quaint and really cute. Perfect for honeymoons and baby making. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the prawn cocktail, tuna stuffed pasta and mchicha. I loved a receptionist called Asiya. Very professional lady who made my stay amazing. I wish I had her phone number. Actually, I do! The lady chef at breakfast was an amazing lady. She was so sweet and polite and you could tell that the food was cooked with love. The pool attendant was very polite- such a great guy! Massage was so good omg!
I didn't like the first receptionist I met. She was quite inflexible and not accomodating. When I arrived she immediately informed me that I had to pay for the 4 nights upfront. I was confused because I hadn't even seen my room yet.... and i couldnt see the room because i arrived early. The rate I had was in dollars and there's was in TZ shillings. They informed me that I had to pay usd15 for breakfast every morning despite their very high costs for not very much. Asiya called her manager to see if I could have breakfast and the manager said yes. I appreciate flexibility for solo travellers.
My first room was dark and I had to keep the light on. Asiya moved me to a brighter room which was really nice.
The waiters seemed unmotivated to serve a solo woman traveller. One was very rude to me. Give me a break- treat solo women travellers with respect, we are all not after wazungu men.

The hotel is a bit remote, but very nice and with friendly staff. It's a good place to chill out. The rooms are functional, but not luxurious (what you expect as an European in a boutique hotel). Food is good. There are a few stores within walking distance, nothing more. The beach is unfortunately like the sea dirty and not suitable for swimming. The beach is public and there are a lot of locals at the beach, which is very nice. Recommended especially if you are looking for peace and quiet.

The restaurant and the interior/exterior of the room with garden

Good service by staff at the check-in. Property is located on the beach but access to the beach has been ruined due to hotel building a retaining wall on the beach and no room for the guest to use the beach in front of the property. Cleanness of the area and room.
The room I purchased on Booking.com indicated 295 Feet but the actual room was only about 200.
The king/double size mattress was two single mattress that were put next to one another and my girl friend and I could not sleep comfortably all night because the mattresses separate.
Restaurant food is not Mediterranean (it actually make Mediterranean food look bad). I ordered two pizzas that were thin bread and tomato sauce with sprinkle of cheese. I also ordered prawns which were small salad shrimps loaded with Mayonnaise sauce.

the setting.
small children need to have their meals served a bit more quickly
