Welcoming staff/owner. Exceptional evening meal however breakfast was a little disappointing with little choice.

The owners were incredibly nice and gave excellent advice on what to and what not to do. The hotel is small but has a wonderful charm. The breakfasts were excellent and it was such a pleasure to eat out in the garden area.

Very good room with historic character - large room with high ceilings; tall windows with shutters; stone tiled floor. Hotel is in a nice quiet location near cafes, shops and buses. staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are good.

The location is close to every central place in Jerusalem.
The rooms and property are spacious, and with authentic Arab architecture
I took the room directly in the hallway, there was an active kinder garden below the window that makes a lot of noise on weekdays (babies crying, etc...). On the weekend the noise of a nearby synagogue prayers can be heard from the room

It’s nice to be able to live in a building with history. The owner family is super nice. Our room is big enough for the three of us.
The bathroom is a bit dated. Can use some upgrade.

A lovely place! Superior room with beautiful classic design, well cleaned with a very comfortable bed. Good breakfast and kind people that were very helpful!

Wonderful bed. Very clean, fresh smelling linens and towels. Owners tried very hard to accommodate me for breakfast and carrying things to my room because I have trouble walking. Rami knew without asking that I wanted a second cappuccino. And he found my passport that I left in the safe. I was very grateful. Beautiful garden.
I would have liked a common sitting area as I am used to this in bed and breakfasts. I imagine the garden is for this in good weather but in winter I felt isolated as I am alone.

First night stay, wall heater unit was noisy, bathroom was now clean.
But space was good size. I had their suite of one bedrooms and a loft kitchenette, living room.
Stayed a second night, needed to change rooms due to previous booking.
Second night was horrible!!! Wall heater would not function. Owners brought over a space heater that didn’t work, room was dirty, got no sleep, they charged me more than was agreed upon. Checked out a day early , no sleep extremely disappointed .wife was apologetic, husband had a speech impediment, not clear of his response but insisted full price more than agreed upon. I would strongly advise travelers to seek other accommodations.
Second night was in changed room was a horrible.
Key didn’t open the door, got attendant who also couldn’t open the room door he phoned Adi, owner, she was responsive and got the door to unlock.
Wall heater unit needs to be serviced, husband and wife came back over and brought a space heater that didn’t work, no second blanket was available….froze. Scheduled to stay another night….checked out instead, was overcharged on agreed price.
Room was not clean, toilet had poop stuck to rim of toilet.
Needed to keep the toilet cover closed due to smell oder.

It is a family owned property in Baka'a, just a walking distance from the "First station" with all its restaurants and activities. Our room was spacious, and had a jacuzzi. The breakfast was just as we like, homey and tasty, fried eggs,Israeli salad, jam, cheese bread ,butter and spreads. The street has many cafés and delictessen,it has a great vibe. Free street parking was a perk. The room had soundproof windows.
All by all, it is very friendly with a nice atmosphere
All good

The staff is amazing -- ever helpful -- and remembered my breakfast preferences every morning! The food was fresh and delicious -- and they were welcoming from the start!
The stairs were the only option -- wish they had a few handicap rooms. It would also be nice if they provided some other toiletries such as toothpaste or mouthwash.

it’s a charming old Jerusalem building

After finding the initial room not quite meeting the description, I was immediately offered another room, which proved to be fine.
The initial room had no windows, no fridge and a malfunctioning air-conditioning. Also there was quite a bit of dust on table surfaces.

The location is great in a lovely & uniqe area. The hosts are warm and welcoming.
The shower wasnt 100% clean and there was a problam with the hot water who made taking a shower impossible in the morning.
