Clean, quaint, comfortable cottage with a lovely host not too far in the sticks but far enough to feel away from it all
The only thing I'd say was it was properly freezing so we ended up with not only the fire lit but needing the heating on for ages - which worked but felt pretty guilty leaving the heat on for so long!

If you're looking for a cosy cottage in a rural get away from it all setting then Willie's cottage surrounded by lovely scenery, ticks all the boxes.
The standard of cleanliness is excellent. The cottage is well equipped, well furnished and warm . The open fire is delightful should bad weather close in. If the sun shines there is a picnic bench and garden chairs where you can enjoy the tranquil setting.
There was nothing we didn't like but visitors need to be aware there is only one bathroom with a shower in the main part of the cottage and the one toilet with wash basin adjoining the third bedroom which has a separate entrance..

Nice cottage, plenty of room and all the comforts required
Was a bit too remote for us, the advert did say close to the town of Fintown but was about 3 miles from the cottage, but was still nice for the break

It was a lovely cosy comfortable cottage in good location and was extremely clean. There was also good Wi-Fi.
There was no rte/tv3 channels on tv which didn’t really bother us as we were out sightseeing most of the day. But would have been a bit frustrating if we were staying when a big GAA game was on as we try and watch as many of these as possible. That said otherwise we highly recommend this cottage.

Very comfortable house in a very nice environment.
The weather was a bit cold and rainy during our stay and the house was very warm and comfortable for our trip with kids.
The owners really cared
There is almost no cellphone signal in the area, it wasn’t an issue for us, but sharing it in case it is a requirement for other guests.
In any case , house has WiFi, not very fast, but enough for streaming and voice calls. It was more than enough for us 🙂

Amazing! Place super clean, everything you would need. Met on arrival and shown heating etc. Wine and scones such a lovely touch too! Loads of towels and toilet rolls (sorry to say but this isn't always the case) , Def check out the fintown train ride and local beaches. Views were to die for! Would Def stay again
Nothing!

We have a lovely stay with a very nice view of mountains. We were happy with the treats upon arrival. Also the location was not that far from the shops and other tourist destination in Donegal.

The cottage is lovely and beautifully furnished, but it is located away from restaurants, etc. We bought groceries in a small gas station/convenience store about 25 minutes from us. The cottage is surrounded by pretty scenery and fields of sheep. We could see sheep up close and personal from our kitchen window. The shed on the property contained everything needed to light a fire in the fireplace. Very quiet, peaceful, and cozy!
Nothing really. The cottage was located halfway between the Cliffs of Slieve and Glenveagh Na Park, which made it convenient. Both places are not to be missed. We stayed there three nights and could easily have stayed another night.
