Remote location and amazing view were the best features. Also loved wood burning heater
More crockery. Only 4 mugs for 4 people. Difficult when using dish washer

It was very relaxing and quiet, such a beautiful place.

Spectacular views, set amongst the tree tops.
Secluded location with a short drive to beaches/cafes etc.
No coffee machine as per facilities guide.
Don't worry about the kangaroos so much as the potholes on the access road - definitely requires attention....
3.5 / 5.0
the view, the location, the serenity.
Cleanliness needs improving; notwithstanding the season, the wood box did not contain sufficient wood cut to the right sizes or kindling for the stay.
The property states ‘coffee machine’ supplied…but seemed to be a plunger only - at least that was what I saw….maybe there was a pod machine in a cupboard that I missed.
In summary, not big drawbacks - but certainly would take a good experience to a fantasy experience.

The views were amazing. This is truly a bush setting. Able to hear the frogs on the dam below.
Perhaps in very hot weather the screens on a couple of windows may need replacing.

Excellent location, very peaceful with plenty of bird life around. Good little cottage had everything i needed for a couple of days away. Bath with a view was a highlight!
Bathroom had a bit of a musty smell, but wasn’t too bad.

the long drive way was only one lane

The isolated location and the incredible views. The kangaroos on the way in were in abundance and a lovely bonus. Its tank water only, which is fine and suits the ambience. Very private even among the other cottages, and very quiet. once the fireplace gets going (does take some work), really does the trick to warm the whole cottage. Perfect for solitude and rest from the chaos of life.
It has extraordinary potential as well. I think a modern(ish) refit would do the trick; it’s very retro and well used. There is no face-to-face contact with the owner, that has pros and cons. You will need to bring supplies including drinking water (highly recommend). Shower is a little tricky in Eagle Nest and it will wet most of the bathroom.

The View
Detailed Cleanliness, dirt and nuts shells in the lounge and black markings. Couldn't use the ceiling fan due to an inch of dust. No soap provided in the bathroom and no toilet roll holder. Fire place dirty and not cleaned out from previous stay. Didnt drink the water as water ran brown during the entire 4 night stay....

The location was superb truly felt as though we were in a world of our own. The views are equally impressive we sat on the deck surrounded by nature and enjoyed the view and serenity. Firewood aplenty and the open fire kept us warm on a frosty winters night. I am with Telstra and found no issue with reception or Wifi however the other phone had no reception at all with a different provider. The bath was nice to sit in with verticals open and admire the sunset and views.
We stayed in Island cottage. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable for us we both slept poor I would recommend bringing your own pillows and the television was extremely small and made it difficult for us to enjoy movies. The lounge wasn’t the most comfortable to settle down so we repositioned the tv and laid on the bed. Small things however opportunities to improve. We would stay again.

Friendly vist from local possum.
Cabins need updating, painted and cleaned better.
Had a number of lights out and not working.

The location is superb, so picturesque and so peaceful.
The furniture is a bit dated & uncomfortable and the house a bit tired.

Amazing view, private and the perfect getaway. We used it as a little private nature retreat to bound around Ulladulla, Milton etc and do some shopping, wineries & stand up paddle boarding nearby. Lovely place. Combustion heater a bonus - great to relax and watch the stormy weather outside. We’ll be back!
Not much really! Bathtub spout could be extended so it doesn’t spray all over edge of bathtub? And wifi? But you’ll survive!

The position, privacy, views, being surrounded by wildlife. Perfect. Thankyou
It would be helpful to suggest that people bring drinking water.

Perfect location, incredible view of the ocean and the bushes! The cottage is perfectly situated, can’t ask for anything better. It’s a perfect getaway for a couple, it has everything you need ( you’ve got to bring your food, of course!)
My husband and I have had an amazing time, we were able to rest and relax.
Thanks very much Greg!
It would be best if there’s some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Also, it’s hard to sleep in as the sun shines through the cottage early in the morning due to lack of blinds/ sun shades.
