The property has an excellent location with a terrace and a view in our room. Clean and quiet. Parking is nearby and free
the door to the terrace does not lock, your neighbour can easily jump over to your terrace as the separating walls are too low. the ac does not work, it was hot inside, i messaged the property at 1130pm to report the issue but no answer. i called on the number provided on the booking.com website and the person did not speak any english, he said he will come to check it but no one came. they told us the recepetion is closed at 10pm so anything that happens to you after that time is not their problem anymore. not really nice when you should be serving ure guests.

The location and facilities were good
I have stayed there twice before and have been happy. This time, I found the staff indifferent except for the lady on duty when I left who actually was friendly. When I had a problem with the patio door not locking the man on reception actually rolled his eyes at me when I explained the problem. He wasn't interested in my concern about security. He resolved the problem but without any enthusiasm.
I am unlikely to stay there again.

The perfect authentic place to stay in this town. close to everything, and
Wi-Fi could be more reliable. However, 4G on roaming was nearly just as quick.

One of the best places to stay if visiting El Rocio. The hotel is at the entrance of the town. Except for the pilgrimage in June there is not much going on in El Rocio and thus this hotel, but it is a good place to stay close to the few restaurants that are in town.
The breakkfast was not worth the effort.

Great view and location in the centre of El Rocío. Easy check in and check out. Lots of parking in the square in front.

the staff was great, allowing me to leave my bike inside, and opening up the breakfast buffet extra early for me. the hotel is centrally located in el rocio with easy acess to the lake, church and restaurants
the room and toilet were basic, with a small terrace overlooking the lake. the flamingos, although a marvel to look at, are feisty and noisy and tend to have their loud fights at 3am

The location was perfect for our visit to Doñana National park. There are beautiful views from the terrace, to the south. Our room was on the north side so it was shaded and cool.
Nothing.

Location was good, view over to the church and lagoon, breakfast was ok
Coffee was weak, rooms were rather tired, bathroom fittings very loose, Bedroom has emergency light above TV which has charging lights on which face the bed which did not assist sleep as bright

El Rocio is a magic place, and the Hospederia is in the middle of it. What a special place. Super friendly staff and a great feel to the place.

Very pleasant staff, pleasant and well-maintained facilities. Excellent location, very close to the sanctuary.
Space was tight, and the mattress was a bit too soft. Room soundproofing was not good at all, you could hear other guests too well.
7.0
Location fantastic with terrific views.
Noisey on a morning during breakfast with scraping furniture.

I loved the location
The property needs to be modernised.

The accommodation is in the heart of the town. Our room was a bit on the small side but had a terrace that overlooked the town's sandy square and the beautiful lagoon of the national park. There is also a large communal roof terrace with chairs and loungers. It would be hard to find better accommodation in El Rocio.
The room was very compact, but managed to fit in everything you needed. The terrace more than compensated.

Location is great, near church and lake. in my opinion best area in town
it was a bit cold in a room, however it’s winter season. also you need to look for place, as it’s on street where cars don’t pass. And I needed to wait for staff for like 10 minutes

Woman at check-in was friendly
The bathroom was sadly not clean - lots of black long hairs on the floor. The bedroom was semi-clean. I accidentally booked an interior double room —> so we got a place somewhere in the basement with no window - in Covid times I want to be able to get some fresh air from time to time. Here sadly impossible. During night the clients next to other room were „enjoying“ themselves for a long time & then the started to clean all the rooms around us from 8am in the morning (the walls seem to be paper thin) - so not too much sleep... The woman at the front desk was friendly though. But all in all not more than one star.

Location: If Zorro was a hero of your childhood, you must see El Rocio, a town from a western with wide streets paved with sand and horses riding around (OK, there are cars here that spoil the spirit of western). It is also a perfect location to visit Donana National Park with guided tours starting here early morning and proximity to the walking paths open for all visitors (accessible without a guide).
Hotel: Traditional Spanish architecture. Great view from the top deck (follow the stairs) for the town, the sanctuary and the lagoon with flamingos. There is also a deck with tables, but it was too cold to eat breakfast there.
Room: Heating from air condition, electric sockets: available near the bed, lighting: OK.
Bed: narrow, but still comfortable.
Bathroom: tiny, but functional.
Breakfast: served from 7am (important for participants of a guided tour starting at 8am), selection of sweets, also meat and cheese. Reasonable, but not very good.
Parking: The street front of the hotel is closed for cars (but you may park your horse here). Parking about 30m away at the street. All parking in the town are paid (1€/day), but nobody asked for the fee.
Covid: Disinfection gel is available,
Hotel: narrow and steep stairs to the rooms at the upper level.
Room: Small (see the hotel info) and very basic. No place to seat.
Bathroom: No heating (important in winter).
Covid: impossible to maintain distancing at the breakfast.

The location is perfect with some rooms with balconies overlooking the march land. The staff are very friendly, the hotel has character and the village is very unique.
Unfortunately our room smelt like cigarette smoke.

Comfortable stay friendly staff. They were happy to help us in all that we asked.
Shower a bit awkward

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast choices. Covid aware and gel, masks and gloves available at entrance.
Car parking arrangements not clear. Was told to leave car in an area adjacent to hotel which would be free although signs displayed showed a 1euro charge.. On return to hotel on day 2, I was asked by a person with a book of tickets for a Sunday charge of 3euros! I eventually managed to get a member of staff from the hotel to explain to this individual (in spanish) that I was a resident and exempt. Why not just provide a card to display in windscreen?

Location is maybe the best part of the hotel. Right in the little village of el Rocío, few meters away from the church, and with views on the Marisma at the entrance of Doñana national park. The common terrace was not really equipped when we were there, but was pleasant. We could order drinks from the bar downstairs. The room was quite basic but overall sufficient for spending a comfortable night.
The experience would increase in quality with a few small changes... Some of the towel hangers in the bathroom were not properly screwed in.. this is laziness. The doors could be a bit better, they feel paper thin and leave a large gap below. Noise and light from the corridor gets into the room. Also quite noisy when opening, could be solved with some oil..

The staff, the place and the room were good enough
The breakfast was the same for all the stay and the oven to roast the bread took too much for that
8.0
It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine and there is a lovely outside terrace with a beautiful view on which to eat. The location is very close to the Sanctuary.
The room was very basic and quite small and at times noisy. The biggest problem we had was internet access. It simply did not work. We stayed 4 days and it was very annoying and inconvenient.

Lovely place close to the big church. Nice outdoor terrace for breakfast or drinks.
Good views on the goings on outside, and but not noisy!
