Goed bereikbaar en veel parkeerruimte. Aardig personeel.

Vieze schimmel kitranden in de douche en een handdoek met rafels aan 1 kant. Wel schoon de handdoek maar dat kwam Armoedig over

It is a beautiful hotel. The receptionists were also kind.

We asked to make sure that everything is fine because it was our anniversary. They lied saying that the wellness works, only the pool was available. Room service costs 10 euros, but the food is hyper-overpriced. If you are French, you will be disappointed. Bigger problem: house keeping fid not clean the bathroom. There was #### on the toilet seat. We asked for a refund, they did not even answer.

Definitely coming back

It's a 4-star hotel, but it's actually 5-star luxury. It's part of a larger complex that includes a casino, a restaurant, and probably other facilities that I didn't visit. The room is super clean, quite spacious, and very quiet with a great view on a wide green area. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a bath tub. My baby enjoyed her private swimming pool immensely! The location is just off the highway so it's very easy to reach. I also took the car for a 6m drive to a Halal restaurant, so the city is just a few minutes of driving. The Wi-Fi was open, no password needed. This is really convenient. The breakfast was superb. Very spacious restaurant and enough variety to satisfy all tastes. It's also available till 10:30, which is unusual (usually till 9:30 or 10:00 in most hotels I've been to). All in all, I'm definitely coming back in case I come back to Hoorn.

I didn't like that check-out is at 11:00 while check-in is at 15:00. Almost all hotels that I've been to where 11:00 and 14:00 or 12:00 and 15:00. I had to pay more to stay till 13:00 instead of 11:00 (but not really much). Also, the interaction on Booking.com wasn't the best. I asked a question, and received an automated answer as a reply. So, nobody read my message and my question wasn't answered before coming. Luckily, I found what I wanted to be available.

Excellent Hotel

Location was good and accessible link roads to Hoorn. Our rooms was superb, clean and everything we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Would of liked a porter/ concierge to help as had a lot of luggage.

disappointing

good location, beautiful view, a lot of facilities

We mistakenly made a double reservation of rooms, the hotel staff was not willing to credit us and we paid for both rooms even though we only used one room. Despite this, they sold the room once more, and when they asked to give the extra room to our colleague, they said there was no room available. I see this as theft. Is there another way to call it?

Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.

Everything is clean, staff is polite, nice and modern, feels very safe there.

That the breakfast is not included, I would love if it was but it’s no big issue.

Over the past few years I've stayed in a number of Van der Valk hotels in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and this one was not at the same level as the others. It was still a pleasant stay but it wasn't as good value for money as other similar hotels. The room was smaller. The sofa in the room was heavily worn. We were initially told the wrong number for our room, so we had to head back to reception with all our bags to find the right room and head there instead. The menu in the restaurant was missing most of the pages that were supposed to be in it. These are all very small things individually. But they all add up to suggest a lack of attention to detail from management. And in comparison to other Van der Valk hotels (Antwerp, Moers, Melle, Hengelo, Gladbeck, Venlo and Charleroi) this was not something we had previously experienced.

Exceptional

Very modern property with spacious, clean rooms. We stayed here for the second time now and since the first time we stayed was during COVID it was good to be able to visit now without restrictions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also happy that the hotel has a gym and a pool. They also have a bike shed where we could safely keep our electric bikes. We will visit again for sure.

The gym is located next to the pool so the air at the gym is quite humid and smelling of chlorine. Not the best workout conditions.

Lovely stay as always with V Der V

Lovely hotel, modern inside with friendly staff good food and plenty space to relax.

Couldn’t be sure I was actually in the hotel as it’s part of other buildings/ shops. Soon recognised Van Der Vaulks style though and modern touch

the bathroom was not totally clean and the shower drain was clogged and the water pooled during the bath
