The Hyatt offers good food and friendly service. My family and I had a very good time.

The breakfast fare was for us either at the big buffet choices or urban heat. Both were very good but we preferred urban heat since it gave us a bit of both the ability to order off a menu and a small buffet selection. The menu prepared food was very good.

We stayed on the adult only side but spent most of our time on the family side. The adult side is really geared towards adults who want to party. The adult only is misleading since you think it will be nice and subdued without kids. The fact is that side was much louder at all hours than the family side. I wished I had picked the other side. The fitness center is or can be really amazing but the fact that there is no AC or fans and the bulk of the cardio equipment is broken made it quite frustrating. I have previously stayed here and noticed a marked decline in the condition of the buildings.

Infested with flies and ignorant staff

I liked the room and the balcony.

The flies, there were a lot of flies everywhere. I couldn't enjoy the balcony like I wanted to because of so many flies. I also didn't like the way the Jamaican staff treated my husband once he opened his mouth and began talking and they realized he was also Jamaican. They started treating him as if he didn't deserve to be there.

Dream Vacation!

Loved every moment of our stay! Exceptionally clean, lots of day/evening activities, great food, and the staff was super fun and friendly. Funny because the kids side was more fun than the adults side. Cant wait to go back!

Everything! I can’t even say that there’s nothing I liked besides the spa prices but it didn’t break my trip.

The Spa prices were a little higher than expected. And I wanted a prenatal massage but decided not to get one.

We are already considering a return trip to Zilara.

Excellent well run hotel. I’ve been to Jamaica 3 times in the past and by far this hotel and staff experience exceeded them all!

NOTHING negative to report. Every person we came in contact with from the Hyatt transportation at airport, to the entire hotel staff until the time we left was absolutely sensational. And I am not one for writing reviews. My spouse and I said we can no longer say we don’t like Jamaica this resort experience and the people we came in contact with there have changed our perception.

The experience was great but the food needs to match the high price range.

The ambiance was good and the staff expect for one. Tajay at concierge went above and beyond to assist me with all my needs and wants.

Girls trip

The rooms were well maintained. Restaurants were really nice. Nightly entertainment was enjoyable. Food was very tasty. Most of the staff was helpful and made sure we had a great experience.

Hot water for a shower was hit and miss daily. Either hot or lukewarm. In the restaurants a few staff were just there to work and their customer service was just ok. However, we encountered some very hard working restaurant workers who made our trip excellent.

Great for all-inclusive, but not for a local experience

The resort was beautiful! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was great for an all-inclusive; however, the Brazilian restaurant has not reopened after Covid which was a bummer because that menu looked like one of the better ones. Calypso and the Jerk Hut were the best for breakfast and lunch. Urban Eats and the French restaurant were best for dinner. We didn't get a chance to try the Italian place but it also looked good. We did a couples dinner on the beach (extra $$) but well worth it for a fancier customized menu.

While the location was convenient to the airport and in a safe location, we felt the beach scene was seriously lacking. There was not really much beach at all to speak of, just one small adults only area and two other very small family beach areas. You certainly couldn't take long walks down the beach (only about 50-100yds at most) as the beachline was non-existent and really rocky. We would much rather have stayed on 7 mile beach (Negril) where there were lots of local restaurants and bars and activities up and down the 7mile stretch of beach.

pool water was a bit cold (heaters could help), couple hot tubs were not working at some time (warm water), all inclusive but not wine included in room service (even for a suite room)

Exceptional

I enjoyed the service and food the most. The food was best food I've had. The Butler service was great. Everyone made sure my wife and I had everything we needed.

If I had to to say one thing it would just be the event noise was loud. During the day it was pretty lively. Which if you dont mind that it is great. There are other parts of the resort to go to and relax.
