The cottage size was good. The staff were great as well

It came across as more like a camping stopover than a tourist stay. I was shocked to see a giant stadium near my cottage - something I was given no heads-up in the photos or reviews (the ones I read). Last - this is not accessible without transport, would rather stay in city limits

Campeggio carino, i bungalow un po datati ma per il prezzo direi ottimo. Posizione comoda ma consigliamo di avere un auto. Colazione ok.

Konaklamam güzel geçti. Bir daha gidersem yine kalırım.

Şahane konum, sessiz bir ortam.

Aslında sevmediğimiz bir şey olmadı. İki önerim olacak : 1- Resessiyon ve dolayısıyla lobi saat 20:00'de kapanıyor. Bu süre en azından 22-23:00 olmalı. 2- Araç kiralamadıysanız ve Tromsö merkezine otobüsle gidip geliyorsanız durağa yürüyüş yolu hafif rampalı 750 metre, 10 dakika kadar sürüyor. Önerim şu olur belirli saat aralıklarında durağa kadar gidiş/dönüş shuttel olmalı.

Het ontbijt was zeer lekker en uitgebreid. De cabins waren netjes maar basic. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

Er was een sauna maar die viel tegen. klein en helemaal versleten. Geen thermometer, geen zandloper. Verschillende planken van de banken hingen los...

Un sogno diventato realtà !

La location è strepitosa !!! Siamo riuscite a vedere l'aurora boreale direttamente dalla nostra cabina grazie al tetto con i vetri. Uscite fuori lo spettacolo è stato poi meraviglioso! L'intero complesso è immerso nella natura ed è bello passeggiare nei dintorni del camping, dove è possibile anche imbattersi in animali liberi. La colazione è buonissima, abbondante scelta tra dolce e salato.

L'acqua calda in bagno non dura abbastanza per due docce a meno che non si effettuino molto velocemente. Non ci sono prese elettriche vicino la cucina quindi per esempio per usare il bollitore abbiamo dovuto attaccarlo vicino al letto usando un pouf come sostegno. Non c'è scelta di cuscini e quelli utilizzati sono cosi sottili da essere quasi inesistenti. La salita e la discesa per arrivare a piedi al camping dalla fermata del bus, sono abbastanza impegnative soprattutto se ghiacciate come nel periodo in cui siamo andate noi.

Nice stay for a taste of nature

We chose Tromso Lodge because we wanted to stay in a cabin surrounded by snow and beautiful nature. Also, we hoped to witness the Northern Lights on the days we did not book tours, as the Lodge was located away from the city lights (and we did!). We chose the new Explorer cabin and it was modern and beautiful with big windows (even on top) and a balcony facing amazing scenery and the river. The breakfast was really good, tasty, and abundant!

The cabin is very small, the bed is comfortable but also small, there is no TV, and the bathroom is very small. But that is a cabin, so for us it was nice. The Lodge is self-service, so we did not have any cleaning services during our 3-night stay, however, you could choose to pay for that. Also, note that you need to take your luggage in the snow from the reception to the cabin and back, which is a few minutes walk. The location is away from Tromso center, which is obvious as we wanted that remote location. However, the bus station is quite far from the Lodge, about 10-15 minutes walk. Not something comfortable to do with luggage and the taxi rates are very very high.

Muy buena opción de hospedaje cerca de Tromso

La cabaña es muy bonita y con todo lo necesario, ubicación es muy buena, al lado de un río y rodeado de paisajes hermosos, alejado de las luces de la ciudad para ver las auroras pero suficientemente cerca para explorar Tromso y alrededores

No hubo algo en particular que no me gustara, pero me hubiera gustado saber que en esta época es difícil llegar a pie si no tienes spikes en las botas, pues todas las banquetas y calles estaban congeladas

Va bene se di passaggio

Siamo andati solo a dormire, era pulito.

I bagni lontanissimi (eravamo in inverno, con il ghiaccio non comodo), no acqua vicino ai lodge. In bagno non c'era neanche un appendino per metter l'ascigamano, considerando che bisogna andarci con il giubbotto fino a là. Le regazze in receptions non molto disponibili.

Super séjour

L’emplacement du camping, proche de la ville et en même temps isolé . L’accueil de l’hôtesse qui était très agréable . La cabine explorer était superbe . Tout est organisé à l’intérieur , très ergonomique. La literie est confortable .

Il aurait fallu repenser l’évacuation de l’eau de la douche ( tendance à inonder toute la salle de bain après la douche )

Too much street lighting to be able to see the Northern light clearly. Infact all street light should be installed with motion detectors. Total darkness is needed outside the cabins.

Beautiful Cabin Break

Lovely location just outside the city - nestled between two mountains with a gorgeous view of the river and one of the mountains. Cabins were warm cute and cosy. Huge glass windows facing the river for lovely views and then the ceiling windows were beautiful at night - even saw a shooting star. We booked an Aurora tour through reception with Trine at Tromso Friluftsenter and it was the best night ever. We saw the northern lights, got beautiful photos and then even came home and saw some more Aurora green over our mountain too! Bed was so cosy, cabin was a lovely temperature throughout, I found the heater noise okay and soothing, underfloor heating in the bathroom was my favourite! Very considerate to have tea and coffee supplies available as we had brought some but used a few extra. Little kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. Communication throughout was fantastic - lots of info shared via the guestbook and messages.

It was a little difficult to find in the dark on our first night but once we understood where it was we easily found it again every time.

Excellent location providing a range of accommodation options.

Clean and basic cabin but ideal for our short 1 night stay. Excellent facilities on site - washroom and showers were great. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The kitchen facilities were fine but people staying in motorhomes used this area to wash up their own dishes and the area became very busy with limited space. A separate dish washing area would be better.

The best stay for nature!

We above satisfied with the hospitality from the front staff. While waiting for the cabin ready, they gv us free drinks. The traditional cabin is perfect for family stay. 2 rooms with spacious hall with sofa and dining table. Our cabin is on riverside, the riversound and bird chipping very cozy and serene. we r not expecting that! Heater and everything working good. if you dont have iron to iron the clothes, just borrow from the reception. they r always happylooking to serve you. Thank you guys!

Lovely location

Beautiful location and staff very helpful. Saw the northern lights above our chalet!

In winter it’s too difficult to get buses do the cost of getting cabs to the centre adds up (especially with tours). No supermarket or restaurants within walking distance. Staff very helpful throughout.
