Everything was excellent especially the staff and the exceptional food ... absolutely amazing... the bar man and the lady on breakfast... amazing staff 👏
Unfortunately the floors above the room were so so creaky that the people above did not go to bed until 3 3 30 in the morning... so no sleep the first night . Also had excessive creeking floor in the room .

Property well located for NEC. Nice bar and restaurant. Staff tried to be helpful.
Warm friendly welcome on arrival.
Had evening meal which was delicious and value for money.
Ordered a coffee on arrival to be told they had no milk.
Items not available from the menu both at lunch and dinner. Breakfast was not great quality.
Room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom requires some TLC.

Overall, hotel was more than expected. Very nice location, they had activities running due to the Bank Holiday. The room was a good size. The breakfast was great value, service was great, staff were very helpful. Evening meals and service great. Bar area and restaurant are nicely decorated.
We had room 3, this was a noisy room to be in, this did spoil our first night but next day spoke to reception who were very helpful and sorted out a solution.
The only other thing was the room was quite dusty and decoration was not as nice as the main hotel

Staff in the bar & restaurants were very friendly and excellent service in the restaurant
Booking.com stated music can be heard if there is a booking in the event suite, that’s an understatement as we felt we were part of the event directly above be wedding event with the floor vibration all evening and the music was pounding disturbing the whole evening, not amused !!
The bathroom had a stale stench that was disgusting and even with any air freshener didn’t disappear throughout our stay !!

Rooms were good and comfortable
I stayed there for work as we travelled up to work in the area
Work up the next morning to find my van had been broken into and aprox £6k worth of tools stolen to then find the hotels CCTV wasn’t functional.
So not a safe place for tradesman to stay over night

Nothing really the bathrooms could do with updating

The main reason for my excellent score is the kindness of the staff. My husband is a bit wobbly on his feet and tripped in the night on the way to the loo and hit the wall, which damaged the plaster. We reported this to reception in the morning, fearful that they would charge us for the damage, and instead they were really kind and just concerned for my husbands well being, he is fine by the way. Thank you so much.

I couldn't change to only stay one night on website before I went so still had to pay for two nights as when I phoned they said I needed to do it on website and wouldn't listen
We had no sleep due to noise at front went to see reception three times they did nothing as the people were guests reception had no one there had to press bell wait for them to come

due to work I had to stay around the midlands for a while, this is how I found this lovely place in the middle of a village. it’s a great location for travellers and goers around the midlands, Birmingham is just 20 minutes by train and all the nearby villages like Tanworth are stunning. The staff is pretty well formed by people who are always in constant care over the guest asking if you are in need of something. Besides there is a restaurant which offers you a great variety of dishes, don’t miss white fish and chips, probably the best in all Solihull. also there is a Coop just 20 minutes by walking
everything was fine

Great location - near to NEC which was the reason for my stay, room was very comfortable and wifi worked great. Breakfast was really tasty and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel and would most definitely stay here again.
There was nothing I could say that I didn't like.

SQUEAKY FLOORS!! ☹️

The staff were lovely, welcoming, friendly and helpful, location fine, booking in and checking out took less than a few minutes, the restaurant and food, bar and outside areas all lovely, great parking and cctv everywhere, excellent value for money and despite a few very minor things that could do with a little more attention/ repairs in the room itself we had no complaints at all, we will be staying again but I would bring my own pillow next time 👍😊
The bed wasn't the best, pillows were flat and the cleaning wasn't 100% in the bathroom (mainly the shower) and a few minor repairs needed in places

There were silver fish insects in bathroom plus was advised the breakfast was at 7am only to find out it was changed overnight to 8am - I had to forgo breakfast as the new time affected my travel arrangements!

The biggest problem was with the food, the evening meal was cold, served on cold plates, the bang bang prawns had chips which were smothered in coldslaw, making them soggy and inedible, the breakfast which was cooked to order was poor, cooked items mainly overcooked, eggs dried out, similar with tomatoes and sausage. As for the bathroom, the sealing around the shower tray was dreadful, a real mess !

It was cool and renovated in the reception.
there was ample parking
An amazing bakery just down the road
the breakfast waiter was lovely
sound proofing on the rooms are terrible, noise from above and beside kept me awake and woke me up, and yet I’m a reasonably deep sleeper usually

Staff were friendly, breakfast was pretty nice, the Wifi seemed a reasonable speed if unsecure.
The room was incredibly compact, signs saying you are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into the hotel seems counter-intuitive in this day and age and like they are forcing guests to eat in the restaurant downstairs. No space to sit and work if i had wanted to use the room for that purpose.
