Superb

Loved the location, and the check-in process and support were excellent. Really enjoyed the pool and sauna, and the studio apartment was very cosy.

The shower took a while to heat up and drain.

Lovely cosy apartment in a perfect location for skiing

This property is really well situated and only a short walk to the main train station which takes you to the top of Bretaye ski area, and also connects you with the valley. We travelled from Geneva airport by direct train to Aigle, and then with the bus which stopped very close to the apartment in Villars. The room was really cosy and had great facilities. The pool and sauna area was nice and not very busy.

Unfortunately we weren't provided with the correct access code for the lock box to get into the apartment upon arrival. The host was quick to respond but we had to wait about 30mins to get the right code. I'm sure this was a one-off and shouldn't put people off going.

fab weekend getaway in a place we love.

very clean, great views, great location Guillaume was a great host, lots of communication and organised breakfast deliveries and passes for a discount at the sports centre.

The building felt sad as it’s a huge place that’s now very empty. no fault of the host though and we can only comment as we knew the hotel pre covid

The view is amazing from the apartment, and the apartment was very cozy and warm. Excellent and welcoming communication and informative materials sent before arrival.

We booked last minute, a night before arrival and main reason for choosing this place was a sauna and a pool. Unfortunately they were not currently in use, but the decription was updated only after our booking and when asking about that. As a compensation, we got an option to get discount from the next stay. And there is Villars spa nearby which we visited (and paid for entrance). The sofa bed was not the best, it made noise everytime moving during the night. One night was ok, but longer stay would be frustrating. I hope it will be renewed.

Nice little studio in Villars. Very clean and homey. The view outside the balcony was outstanding. Collecting the keys and finding our way inside the building was straightforward, due to the detailed directions received beforehand by mail from the hosts. The old building of Hotel Bristol was really charming. Free parking was a plus.

Not very close to the city center/ski lifts. The fold-out couch was not as comfortable as a bed. The room was rather on the small side.

Great staff, every question was answered straight away and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Quick to respond and very helpful. The view is magnificent and the small touches are great. Really nice to relax after a long day on the slopes

Slightly odd set up with the hotel reception still there. Maybe this could be converted into a lounge area or something? Just a small thing but the bedding was washed in very strong detergent and the scent was a bit overpowering! A little less would be great.

Great chalet style apartment near Villars Station

Guillaume and Daniele were excellent hosts, very welcoming and made extra efforts to accommodate our travel schedule. The apartment is inside the former Bristol hotel and they have made a good effort for it to have a nice chalet vibe. We also really liked the Indian restaurant also situated in the hotel.

Due to covid the sauna was not in use.

Great location, beautiful view and lovely apartment.

I would suggest that travellers confirm with the host how payment will be expected to be made. An unexpected last minute cash request caused challenges with regards to limited daily withdrawals.

great property in a stunning location!

Wonderful property with stunning views! William was on hand to meet us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. If you're driving, there's parking on the property and if travelling by train your only a 5 min walk from the train station. The room was ideal for what we needed. Great place and will be back in the winter! Thanks for having us!

nice view

the view

its in a converted hotel that was like the Marie Celeste. i did not expect a bed-sit room with a sofa bed, although it was very comfortable I'm pleased I only stayed one night as the room was very cramped. Breakfast was very late mainly because the young lady didn't know the key code to enter the property. I had to take the breakfast with me as I had an appointment to go to before driving onto to Geneva. on the plus side the view is amazing but that what you get in this village anyway.
