Great location about 5 mins walk to beach and tavernas. Fantastic panoramic sea and marina/port view. The apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. Antonis and his brother were fantastic hosts going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.We would certainly recommend the apartments to anyone coming to Poros

Antonis was super quick to reply to all messages and there to greet us when we arrived, anything we needed he was there straight away to help. He knew we were celebrating my mums 60th birthday and so kindly bought us a bottle of prosecco on arrival as well as a birthday card, so thoughtful! The location was great, we stayed in the corner apartment overlooking the port. the apartment had everything we needed, kettle, fridge, towels, blankets, and extra pillows when we asked. Thankyou for a great stay.
the only tiny tiny fault with our room was the shower head wouldn't stay on the wall when we showered but it wasn't an issue.

Stayed in the Faro Del Porto in mid-Sept 2022. Booked a room with a mountain view, allocated room 12. Room was overlooking the road going past the building but had a great view of both mountain and sea as the balcony was L-shaped. Fairly basic room but did have a working fridge and air-con - big bonuses. Room was cleaned every day. The manager, Antonis, was on site every day and always had a useful answer if we asked any questions.
He was very friendly and helpful, always happy to chat for a few minutes and helped us out more than once.
The location was great for both the port area and town square, plenty of tavernas/restaurants serving quality food.
The sea is great for swimming with a long, steeply shelving shoreline and clear water. However, the beach is all pebbles of various sizes so wear wet shoes but buy them at home as they will be cheaper. Best price we saw in Poros was 10Euros a pair.
Ok, here's the biggie - if, like me, through sheer genetics, you are a walking mosquito feast, take all known repellants,
creams and lotions you can find. We took a few and still suffered many rough looking bites. Poros is not a mozzie fest but there's clearly enough to cause issue if you're prone.
As mentioned on other reviews, the barking dog nearby is real. However, while walking past one evening, the young lady
of the house appeared at the door to tell the dog to quieten down, I stopped, put my hands on my hips and glared at her. After that, the dog didn't bark so much.
The island ferry service is very good and reliable - Kyllini 54E return for two adults.
Recommendations : Valsamis cruise from the harbour to Ithaca - 48E for two adults.
Greek breakfast in Porta Terraza right by the harbour.
Zanza bar for evening cocktails - policed by Patrick the dog !
Food - Agrapidos, up the hill overlooking the bay. Great food, prices and cheapest beer.
There are a couple of late bars in Poros, very civilised. Space ran for rest of accolades.... 5 stars !!

really nice staff and very clean room
no trash can in the room besides the small one in the bathroom and also poor wifi connection

The view from the balcony is amazing. The whole room is spacious and comfortable and all the necessary amenities are there. The location is nice, 15 min ride to Skala beach and there is a really good restaurant nearby, called Romantza. All in all, a comfortable stay.
We have some problems with our back and the bed was really uncomfortable. Also, we saw many ants, but the little ones, so it was not that problematic.

Great location, great communication.
It is almost impossible to get a shower, the bathroom is too small (despite on the big size of the room), there is even no hook for the shower head. It is a total flood everywhere after you take a shower. Lack of sockets. Prehistoric AC. Power outage in case of using kettle and AC at the same time,

Amazing view of the Poros port. Apartment was basic but nice and clean. The room was cleaned every day and bedsheets and towels changed every 3 days. The host was great at accommodating our every need. Great air conditioning and good internet. I would stay here again. We rented a car from the airport and had plenty of space to park in front of the property.

This hotel is ideally situated overlooking the port in Poros and at the end of a very long day of travel we were very happy to only drive a couple hundred meters up the road to find our hotel. In addition to being a five minute walk down to the quaint town of Poros, it is also, it is quite close to many beaches, some more popular (Skala) but also some more picturesque but off the beaten trails spots. We had a vehicle which made accessing every part of the island from Poros, very easily done. The room was perfect for us, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of space to accommodate our needs. It was bright and airy and although it overlooked a main road, it was quiet during the day and night. We felt safe and relaxed and absolutely loved our time in Kefalonia. Antonis was a kind an attentive host, remaining available until late into the night during some travel issues and providing swift information when requested throughout our stay. Will definitely come back to Kefalonia and definitely seek to stay here again.
The bed was a little uncomfortable which was challenging for my family member who has a bad back and the wifi was inconveniently inconsistent but regardless, we would more than happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Antonis is a great host!
the photos don’t represent what the apartments look like in real life. it overlooks an industrial port. facilities are limited - usually self catered on the island provide washing up liquid and a sponge but here didn’t.

The property had a lovely view of the harbour and the host was very friendly, he waited to greet us and told us about the island.
The location was peaceful and the local food was nice. There are amenities nearby to the property.
The property could have benefited from a mosquito net but we did not ask for one as we were not there for long. However, I am sure the host would have accommodated us as he helped us with all other aspects.

Antonis is an exceptional host. There was literally nothing that he wouldn't have helped us with, he is so friendly and approachable. He is present without being intrusive and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. He also helped us to speak to and arrange the last boat tour of the season that we would likely have missed had he not helped us.
The apartments have incredible views on both sides of the property, the views of the port and the ocean are undeniably spectacular but the views of the mountain were equally as impressive. We stayed in late September and were able to see some of the trees changing colour for autumn. Watching the sun rise over the mountain, catching the trees was breathtaking.
The apartments themselves are basic but extremely comfortable. They have all that you need for a basic self catering apartment, however the food in Poros is so reasonably priced we ended up eating out for most of our meals.
The rooms are cleaned daily which was an unexpected bonus!
Overall this was such an unexpected gem that we will most definitely be booking with Antonis again. I can't recommend it enough.
