Great Apartment, fabulous Host but would recommend for short stay only

Lorenzo our host, is the best!! He’s friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is great. Within walking distance of everything you want to see - great location for quick stay. Bathroom small but adequate, great water pressure and water temp. Overall, it’s a very comfortable little apartment.

The great location although, comes with a price. The disadvantages of noise. At night all the revellers making their way home feel like they are coming through the bedrooms. We stayed 6 nights and by the end we were over the buskers, the markets and the 2am revellers. The kitchen facilities are good although there is very very little bench space, which is a problem if 4 are all trying to do breakfast at once. There is a lift but you need to drag your bags up appropriately 20 stairs before you reach it - although Lorenzo host extraordinaire was there to help and welcome us.

EXCEPTIONAL

This apartment is in a fantastic part of the main town with a view of the markets from both bedrooms. It is very spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Absolutely beautiful property and very nicely decorated. The host was fantastic and helped us order a taxi as well as made us feel very welcomed. We can not say enough good things about this property. It is awesome!

Beautiful clean apartment in a very central area to all major attractions & shops with great views.

I think the apartment is in the most amazing location being in walking distance to all major attractions and shops. It is comfortable and very clean with great views

It can sometime get noisy because it is so centrally located. But you have to accept this if you want to be so close to everything and there is double glazing on the windows that blocks out most of the street sounds.

our trip to Florence will give us memories for a lifetime. and when we come back, we will definitely stay here again.

we loved to open the windows to the market and hear music, people laughing and especially sitting on the balcony. the beds were very comfortable, shower pressure excellent and Lorenzo bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. the location could not be beat. there is a wonderful cafe about 30 steps from the door. best coffee and pastries.

A dream space for three close friends

Lorenzo was truly a fabulous host. There are about 20 stairs up to the lift to get to the apartment we used, and he was so kind to take all our bags up for us. The lift is small, as would be expected, but it worked well, and we could take turns or use the stairs. The home is so well decorated and supplied. We enjoyed making Italian caffe with the moka for which he had super clear instructions. He also had American style coffee available as well as an electric kettle and a selection of teas. He also has a map to show you where the apartment is in relation to both monuments and his recommended restaurants. One of the most famous markets is right outside your bedroom windows which is buzzing all day and is often overtaken by artists, musicians, or revelers in the evenings. Some noise may come through closed windows, but truly, the location cannot be beat. So close to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, and just a few minutes walk from so many other places. He has an induction stove which is super easy to use and a small fridge that was perfect for our leftovers. The bathrooms are a great size, super clean, and well stocked. Lorenzo is so quick to reply via booking or messaging, and he also has a partner who can help. The terrace is such a treat and we made great use. We felt very safe and secure in the space and walking along that area. Each bedroom has an ac unit and he was very clear about regulations to follow per Florence guidelines.

That we weren't able to stay even longer than four nights!

Perfect place for a stay in Florence.

This was a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Easy taxi ride from train station, easy walking to just about everywhere! Perfect for our adult family group of three during a three-night stay. Our host Lorenzo was always kind and generous with his time, and helped us with reservations for restaurants and transportation. The apartment was a joy, super comfortable, clean, and quiet even though it was right across from the Mercato Nuovo. Lorenzo provided everything we needed! Without question, we would stay here again!

Nothing merits the slightest complaint.

Great ownership for the property by our host Lorenzo - simple communication and punctuality helped with car parking etc. Some very nice touches with refreshments etc

Only real downside was early morning noise from market stalls being set up in the square

Great apartment with an amazing location near a lot of good places. Everything was really clean and organized. Lorenzo was an amazing host, he was really helpful, responsive, and accomodating to us with check out times and also gave us some nice locations around the city. I really enjoyed this stay.

Excellent apartment!

The apartment is beautiful, very well kept, spacious and in an excellent location close to everything. Lorenzo was very helpful and kind - gave us many recommendations on where to eat and what to see. I will recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Florence and will definitely stay here again the next time we return.

I could not rate this apartment more highly!

I have stayed here before with friends and although the apartment is large for a solo traveller, I love the sense of space it gives. The facilities are excellent. It is very well equipped for those who like to cook, the place is spotless and the beds are so comfy. Everything is beautifully presented and breakfast needs for the first morning, including a wide variety of teas and coffees, croissant, toast, jams and nutella are ready and waiting. A bottle of Chanti is also at the ready. It is a perfect location and very easy to find. It is lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by or listen to the street music in Mercato Nuovo once all the stalls have left. Lorenzo, the host, is very welcoming and makes sure you have everything you need. And just in case ... there is an English doctor's practice in the same apartment block. (I used him for pre-flight covid test)

Sublime location in the heart of Florence, near ponte vecchio. Functional appt with balcony and small kitchen. Good beds and showers. Parking can be arranged. Great host.

Noise in the street in the morning and evening. Is part of the charm of being in the centre, but less relaxing if you are a light sleeper.

You can’t be more central and comfortable

Fantastic location as close as you can get to all the sights you want to see. The apartment is furthermore in an original and convivial style, with a nice proprietor trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Bring the n tue very heart of town means that during the peak season you will have some noise from the outside. Double glass windows and thick walls help to limit the impact.

If you want to stay in the best location right in the center of Florence in a beautiful furnished ancient appartment with balcony and perfect working airco, with parking around the corner, a very friendly and involved owner, 3 different coffees, packed croissants, and a delicious Chianti wine on arrival? Than go to this appartment!

The location is amazing! Lorenzo helped us out with finding a place foe our mandatory COVID tests and left us a lovely bottle of Chianti, along with toast, jam, yogurt, water, coffee and milk. I highly recommend this apartment.

Absolutely perfect !!!

Location is fantastic , every important site is within 2-400 meters , apartment is 100% like on the pictures , 2 great double rooms and 2 bathrooms , a nice combined kitchen / living / dining room , and a small balcony for drinks for 2 people , the host is super friendly - can only recommend to stay here

Stunning, beautiful apartment in the heart of Florence

The apartment is even more beautiful in real life. Stunning, very clean and the facilities excellent and we had a very warm welcome from the host. The location is perfect for a weekends stay - everything you want to see is only a short walk away. Complimentary italian coffee (with percolator) and bottle of red wine provided - you'll enjoy that on the balcony and people watch below. Would stay here again if revisiting Florence.

6 days in Florence

The location was great, everything of importance is near. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in the bathroom was good.

No place to put soap, shampoo inside the shower area. Waste can in each room would be nice, too. This is not the fault of the property, but on our last night, we were awaken by a lot of shouting of a group of young people at the mercato at 3:30am, which at that time is empty of vendors. As I said, not the property’s fault.
