We arrived early on a motorbike in 38 degrees and could not have been made more welcome

The hostess was super kind! the place is AMAZING!
hard to believe there is still such places. Comfortable, clean, magical!
it makes you feel like in a medieval place. breakfast is included and all natural, typical regional food.
kindness is what you breathe in there.VERY HAPPY to find this place!
we loved EVERYTHING! very much.

The hôtel is in the city center, it is very pretty, in an old convent. The deco is beautiful. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was a little bare but very clean. I had a balcony and loved it.
The walls were very thin in between my bathroom and the other rooms' bathroom, and I could hear everything.
I did not mind it myself, but maybe the room should have had some curtains for people who want to sleep in in the morning.

Everything! I lived everything about this place. It felt like I was in my personal castle. The bed was fantastic and the sheets were superb. High thread count on the sheets and the comforter was plush. The fireplace in the dining area, library, and bathtub were especially nice touches.

This was an amazing place to discover, a unique setting, with a very welcoming contact through the whole stay, the breakfast was brilliant and tasty, superb bathroom, spacious and beautiful rooms, close to the market place, easy to park, located well to do tours in the area, we absolutely would come again

incredible historic building with beautiful rooms and antique furniture. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. We stayed at the Suite Segre, but we will be staying next time at the Suite Biblioteca, looked spectacular!

Wonderfully preserved atmosphere of days gone by, with comfortable modern toilets and lots of heating so you never feel the cold associated with these types of old buildings 😀

The staff was very friendly and helpful. You really feel at home. The building is spectacular, antique combined with modern comfort.
I guess in winter time it could be cold.

This hostal is located inside a museum and that itself is an experience. You literally enter a time machine. Even though our room fitted the concept (with antique bed), it was comfortable and had an excellent bathroom. Breakfast -though not a lot- was of prime quality. The hostal is situated next to the central Market Place and yet we found a parking spot quite easily (free on Sundays and during the night). We were welcomed by a very friendly host, who did not speak a lot of English but dit all she could to explain and understand.
There was no television in the room, which was probably due to the concept, but could be missed by some. You wouldn't want to lose your key since the place is not staffed during the night. The most dissapointing thing has nothing to do with the hotel: if you travel the North of Spain Balaguer really is a place to skip. It has many unfriendly people, lacks serious points of intrest and is filthy at places. Better towns to visit in the area.

No windows in our room, no staff, poor breakfeast. Old and scary house. I didn't feel safe.

Great old historic palace with antique interiors but comfortable beds and good hot shower.
Good value for money. Breakfast is simple but okay for the price.
Feel like an aristocratic family member while you stay here and read a good book in the library.
Parking near hotel at public streets for free.
On booking.com is NOT mentioned that some rooms (the smallest ones) do NOT have an outside window!!
Payment are being made via a link that is send to you bythe accommodation. This is a complicated way of paying and even my creditcard company does not accept this way of paying. So take cash with you.
In the rooms the sound of running water is constantly a factor in your bed room.

Yolanda who greeted us and made sure our stay was exceptional. She was very helpful. The palace is amazing, it’s like walking back into the Renaissance... the pictures do not convey the amazing place this is. We are definitely staying here again soon!

The palace is unique to have a great experience. Good bed to rest and big size room
The quality of breakfast is awful, 1 croissant in paper bag and 1 already made sandwich from the bakery, with only 1 ingredient, also in a paper bag. And you have to make your own coffee. No option of non-lactose milks. Why dont they serve a proper breakfast where they have a fantastic kitchen to do so? We have read good reviews about their breakfast. I don't accept the covid19 as an excuse, because other hotels offer a fantastic breakfast and restaurants are open with all the required sanitary meassures. Value for money is definetly not worth it.

Decor. Unique and authentic feel, everything is decorated with antiques. The breakfast was great too. The staff were superb.
Cold bathroom, but normal given the size of the bedrooms and the super high ceilings. They provided additional heater without asking.
