Staying in the rain forest inn was an exceptional experience. Gee Tatt is a fantastic host. He really does everything to make you feel at home and he loves telling stories and explaining things about the native way of life. The hut we slept in was simple but cosy and the best thing was the hot shower :) The native food they served was tasteful and it felt very special to try things that are so different from what we know - both for dinner and for breakfast. Our daughters enjoyed swimming in the stream and we enjoyed hanging out in the main area with the other guests.
There was nothing we did not like!

The whole Malay experience was excellent!
Well worth having the dinner and watching it being prepared.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Directions could be made more clear - hard to find if you don’t have an internet connection.

We stayed at Rainforest Inn for three nights and enjoyed every minute!
We stayed in one of the cabins with bathroom which are very spacious. Almost everything is made of natural materials and the indoor climate is wonderful due to the airy construction. One is surrounded by a well-kept garden with hammocks including the own natural swimming pool. Directly adjacent begins the forest and you can see many animals around you.
The family is very eager, shows a lot of things from the natural life of the Orang Asli. Also the operator Gee Tatt does everything to give his guests a pleasant stay.
The preparation of the delicious dinner, the demonstration of different traps and hunting methods and the tasting of local fruits were an experience. One feels very well taken care of and every meal was very good and extraordinarily plentiful!
We can unreservedly recommend the stay for all people who love nature and want to avoid the concrete desert Tanah Rate. The way is worth it and everyone gives his best. It is absolutely worth it!

Incredible place ! Beautiful surroundings, amazing homemade traditional dinner and breakfast that was absolutely delicious, a natural fountain and lake to swim in and an amazing tour of the jungle by the host Muin - who did everything to make us as comfortable as possible. A magical two days!
Nothing we didn’t like!

Absolutely amazing and unique experience. A must do for every nature lover. In the middle of a jungle, you are together with everything that rainforest can offer.
The huts are spacious and made of natural materials. The bed is super comfortable.
The breakfast is different every morning and shows cousine of native people. The restaurant is right next to a huge waterfall.
Special addons like jungle trekking, lessons about hunting and native dinner make this experience so great.

The real Malaysia . The most amazing location . This is something everyone visiting Malaysia should do. We did a trek in the jungle and picked and ate the food . I have learnt so much and feel that this memory will remain with me forever .

Fantastic collection of bamboo houses built in the style of the orang asli set in a beautiful jungle clearing with a stream running through it. Set in the beautiful Cameron Highlands with their very pleasant cool tropical climate. Experience jungle living and cuisine and try your hand at shooting a blow-pipe! Take a dip in the cool jungle stream! Very helpful staff. Off the beaten track, certainly not the usual tourist experience.
We liked everything and would not have changed anything, but bear in mind that the accommodation is fairly basic and there's no wifi, television etc, and mobile data coverage is patchy...which in my opinion makes it the perfect getaway/ "digital detox", but it may not be to everyone's liking.

We had a lovely reception right from the pick-up to arrival and had a complete introduction to everything with a tea. We couldn't believe the beautiful surroundings of the resort. We travel a lot and still it is one of the most unique and special places we have seen. Gee Tatt and Muin´s resorts idea is to also experience the life of the natives and to learn more about the culture. They took us to the jungle and explained the plants and even showed us how to survive in the jungle if you get lost. And the big highlight after the tour was to swim under the nature shower right at the resort. If that's not enough the family cooked us an amzing dinner. If you want to experience something special and escape from the highly touristic Cameron Highlands, this is the right place to enjoy a relaxed time. Thanks dear Gee Tatt and Muin for the amazing time.

one of a kind breakfast, worth trying!

The preordered native dinner was delicious. We could see how they prepared it over the fire: grilled fish, grilled sweet potatoes, grilled chicken, rice in bamboo, saute vegetables from the garden.
Breakfast was different each morning. The place also offers self catering. BBQ facilities are provided. Since the place is far out of the village, they offer to cater food from Ringlet if you are not prepared to bbq.
Staying in Rainforest Inn and joining their tours, which includes a little hike to the native village and them sharing their knowledge about plants, hunting and their traditions was an unforgettable experience.
Really nothing to complain.
Do take care of the place. It will certainly need a freshen up in a couple of years to keep the standard.

The location is just perfect, lost in the forest with the restaurant area right on a waterfall. Huts and facilities are very basic but is part of the experience. The native dinner is great, a must try. The staff is very attentive and responsive (quick and smooth communication) and they arranged all the pick-ups for me (free to/from Ringlet, reasonable fee to/from Tanah Rata). Highly recommended ~
If I really have to point something out, I would say that this place is not for light sleepers. The nuts falling on the tin roof are very noisy… but I guess is the price to pay to be in such a wonderful location.

My stay at Rain Forest was great !
The location is amazing: in the nature , next to the river, you hear the sound of the river.
Gee and Moon are great hosts ! They do everything to make your stay perfect. They also explain you and show you how native people used to live. Really interesting.
Traditional breakfast really good!
I fully recommend it for people who want to disconnect from the city and enjoy the nature !
