Beautiful rooms, clean, renovated and amazing restaurant and helpful staff.
Didn’t realise when booking we didn’t have access to any of the spas with the Geodesic domes until checking in. These are private for the higher end rooms. The general shared spa was still nice but not as photogenic.

Sehr geschmackvoll, alle freundlich.
Kleine Zimmer, man sieht kleine Ausbesserungen in der Ausstattung.
Mehr Variation beim Frühstück wer schön. Dennoch gutes Budget.

Beautiful location, great spa with amazing views, close to town, nice restaurant options.
Room temperature was regulated - for us, it was a bit warm.

Too comfortable hotel! The view is too good, if you are here for the fantastic slopes of Grindelwald, choose this place for sure! Breakfast is so good, exceptional choice, very tasty, and free spa. room balcony overlooking the fantastic slopes, so beautiful, recommend!

There aren't many types of breakfast, but it was very good.
It's a little far from the station, but it's convenient to go out on time for the bus.
I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. On the second day, I asked for a welcome drink, and the female staff gladly accepted it.
However, another male staff member who brought the drink explained the meaning of the welcome drink.
He didn't have to. This is a very unpleasant behavior.
If you said no in the first place, I didn't care.
Except for the male staff, the rest of the staff were very friendly and friendly

Staff amazing and hotel beautiful location .
I don’t think spa should be extra charge to use in the morning.

We love this hotel! The place looks modern, new and clean. The room was rather spacious and comes with a nice balcony which faces the Eiger (super recommend to book this view!). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was decent.
It’s a walk (10-15mins) from the train station with slope, however there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

Room was clean and had great views. The food was superb, and the spa was very relaxing and well thought out
The only improvement I would suggest is on arrival it would have been nice to have our luggage taken to the room

A little expensive.
4.5
The facilities in the hotel were excellent. The provided breakfast every day was delicious with a good range of both cooked and continental options. We were able to book a visit to the spa for free at 30 mins notice which we had to ourselves, and were able to enjoy 90 minutes in the sauna and the hot tub with an amazing view of the Eiger and nearby mountains.
Our room was a good size and very clean, with nice Rituals toiletries provided in the bathroom and a waterfall shower that was perfect after a long day walking in the mountains. The TV had quite a few standard UK channels (ITV, Channel 4, Film 4, etc) and had an Apple TV so we could watch Netflix in the evenings too. Pod Coffee machine and Bluetooth radio were nice touches too.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole experience felt very sophisticated and comfortable.
We booked a regular double room with balcony but as we did not pay extra for the Eiger view our balcony overlooked the property over the road and had less of a view of the surrounding mountains. This was not much of a problem as the shared restaurant and lounge provided a beautiful view, and we spent lots of time out and about.
Although not really the fault of the hotel, it was a 5-10 minute walk up a fairly steep hill to the grindelwald train station and surrounding shops and restaurants which was not obvious from looking on a map. There is a once hourly bus that will take you up but otherwise you'll have to be prepared for a bit of a workout every day!
