B-fast was good - fresh bread, juice, cheese, eggs, etc...
The ice cream was outstanding.
Big yard. Free parking. Very pet friend and helpful with our fridge needd.
Menu did not offer too many vegetarian options. Guests above us were very loud and it seemed as they were moving furniture and suitcases around over our heads.

The house is old and unique. The room was large, bed comfortable, and the staff were very nice. The restaurant has great food.
The hotel is exceptionally noisy, you can hear everything going on in other rooms (especially room above).

Nothing really maybe the location but in hindsight we should have stayed in town
The photos are possibly 10 years old - the place is quite run down and needs lots of care

Big room and bathroom. Everyday somebody come to your room and clean change then towels if need it. They also have a toothbrush as amenities. Owner was very helpful and friendly. It makes me feel like at home.

The accommodation is an old building from 1820 - beautiful in principle! The value for money doesn't fit at all! The carpets are torn, the entire equipment is neglected and extremely overpriced!
Extrem überteuert - Finger weg !!!!

Menu had a very wide choice. Good food.

The room was very nice and quiet despite being next to a relatively busy road that lead straight into town. The patio is very pleasant. The gentleman who served us breakfast and, who appeared to be the maintenance man was EXTREMELY kind, helpful and friendly - unfortunately his english and our spanish made clear communication difficult. but helpful just the same. The breakfast was good too!
We found no options within walking distance for dinner - drove to a gas station a couple of kilometers away (after talking with our friend) to pick up wine, cheese, ham and a baguette for dinner after 1.5 hours of walking back and forth.

location
Room specifically reserved on ground floor was not functioning and reception was not aware of the reservation for that room. No carpet or rug in the bedroom for the dog and the floors were very cold so she slept on the bed with us. Heating was not provided as needed but set on a timer so the room was cold in the night

The welcome and friendliness were exceptional. The owners went out of their way to help us with a problem we had.
Breakfast was copious and very high standard.
We will be back on our next trip. Thanks.

According to the web site English or Irish breakfast was on offer allegedly! Just continental it seems but adequate.
The orange juice was watery

Friendly hosts, both helpful but discreet when needed. Fatima made us feel at home at beautiful Asador de Roxos. We were not in a "city mood", so we liked the countryside atmosphere.
We like and often seek old buildings as such, but this room was a bit dark and dim, and would have been cold (our nights happened to be unseasonably cold) without the heating. Bathroom not the nicest but functioned reasonably well.

Host was great, lovely small Breakfast and beautiful outdoor space.
Did not get the room I had reserved and the bed spring was very uncomfortable to sleep.

Size of room. Clean. Interesting window beams. Male staff tried to be helpful and courteous
Female staff cold and hostile. Requested 2 beds. Had only 1bed. Did not ask for passport at ck in. Room charge put on dinner bill. " Local desinfectado".....label on door. Meaning? When asked got hostile response by female staff

This was a great little bed and breakfast. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was lots of convenient parking. It is also only about 10 minutes to old town Santiago. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fatima and the rather nice eccentric service. This is not a generic hotel run by a corporation, it's family run and it's lovely.
The noise from other rooms, but you do know this before you go (if you read the reviews) but it's still a distraction. Our bathroom is in need of some TLC.

We absolutely loved this place, A quiet location and very friendly hosts

The owner and staff were lovely and friendly, even the language barrier was not a problem.
Bed was uncomfortable, and bedding smelt damp. No mattress protector. Cheese and ham was uncovered when we came down for breakfast, flies were on it! Which was a shame, as the breakfast was good.

We loved our stay with Fátima. The hotel is in a very beautiful setting, just outside of Santiago and it’s very easy to get into the city. We really enjoyed the garden, the forest views and the well-maintained historic building, with beautiful grounds. The restaurant is fantastic and everything is provided with lots of care.
But the best thing about the place is Fátima’s wonderful hospitality. We started and ended a two week tour of Galician here and she very kindly stored our bike boxes here and had a beautiful welcome for us, remembering us when we returned. It’s a special place and we’ll be back as soon as we can.

Beautiful outside and nice houses. Good hot shower and clean.
The room was half the size of the picture and it didn’t have a balcony as advertised, the lights were very cold and the bed was saggy.

Very friendly owners and staff. Plenty of parking. Rooms had character.
A full length mirror in room and better lighting would have been good. Food was very average.
