I can't fault such a fantastic place. Stayed for 3 nights for a family event and the staff, rooms, food and service was exceptional. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff. the restaurant was fantastic!
4.5
The breakfast was very good, and dinner (which we had on both nights of our stay) was excellent. All our meals were in the conservatory overlooking the 'park' leading down to the Erkina river, with mature trees (possibly up to 400 years old) and plenty of bird life. Our bedroom window had a pleasant view down into the square behind the main building. The management and staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for the purposes of our visit to Durrow.
There was nothing that we didn't like. Perhaps the toilet-roll holder could have been better placed, but this small detail is the only thing we can think of that might be improved.

We arrived on a busy Saturday evening, but everything was ready for us. Staff was nice, very efficient and helpful. There was no problem when we asked for early checkout, and full Irish breakfast was served in few minutes. Room was very quiet despite lots of people in the restaurant, bed very comfy. The house is completely renovated and furnished in nostalgic style, perhaps that's why there are still separate taps for hot and cold water in the sink, which is a bit unpractical. Nevertheless, great stay!
WiFi was locked and no password anywhere in the room. We could go downstairs and ask, but they were so busy we decided to skip it - we were too tired anyway.
