We had a lovely time.

The guest house was really lovely and comfortable.

We were not informed or aware that the guest house would not be serviced, so that was unusual for us, and the fact that we stayed for six days and the linen nor the towels were changed once in that time. We were four people, expected to use the same towels and we couldn't get them to dry either because of the rain. That it was really cold. Perhaps, there should be firewood in the lounge on the first day of arrival. There were electricity outages with no backup generator. I would think that a guest house should have a generator or inverter. The cup in the bathroom had a residual of old toothpaste in it and had not been cleaned in a long while. Leftover takeaway sauces were left in the kitchen which could be a problem, especially if someone consumes it and it is old. Otherwise, we loved our stay. The hosts were lovely and very helpful with getting our car started. Went out of their way for us and made the most amazing rusks that the family thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Nice, clean, easy access, parking on premises. Good internet. Friendly new owner who is trying to get things right.

Renovation work was carried out in main house, which created a lot of noise and dust which prevented us to sit outside. Only 2 club chairs inside for a unit of 4. Lacking comfortable chairs and TV only had dstv, no Netflix. Unit has some awkward steps to get to bathroom.

Beautiful abd clean.

No wood or blitz for fireplace, sinxe it was also full of ashes from prevuious guesr, so we could do nothing to heat the room. The reat was perfectm lovely spacious and aecure

It was not too bad but not what we expected

I liked that the place looked exactly like the picture and we had warm water and beds with a great location. We had a fireplace and a heater. The beds were nice and firm and we all slept very well. He was nice enough to have us check in about 30 minutes earlier.

A few days before our arrival, I was informed that the place got a new owner. It was chaos with people busy with construction when we got there and I had to search for the new owner to pick up the keys. We didn't have enough toilet paper, or big towels for showering. We got two small hand towels each to use. This place has a lot of potential but it's not near a 9.6 score that it claims to have. In order to have a high score, you need shampoo, conditioner, milk or creamer in the kitchen with coffee and tea. The place has got great potential but it's the little things that will make people come back. But as a woman, the small hand towels is a huge disappointment. In addition, the bath was still dirty and we had to clean it by ourselves. Also, with loadshedding, it would be nice for the guests to have information about when the loadshedding is. We started making food but then we got hit with loadshedding and had to order in. My suggestion would be; better cleaning of the bathroom, bigger towels, a recycle bin, more blankets, the basics such as shampoo/conditioner in the shower/bath, and more communication from the owner's side.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The scenery was exceptionally beautiful. The accommodation was clean and everything was in a working condition. I loved the pool. Even the hosts children were friendly.
