Location, close to Ingapirca archeological site. Good service and breakfast. Good restaurant.
Very cold during night, but you should expect that at 3,000 mts.

The location and views of the ruins were fantastic. The grounds and the restaurant were absolutely charming, and we loved having both breakfast and lunch there. Overall, very pleased with our stay there and not having to do a round trip day trip from Cuenca to see the ruins.
We arrived around 9pm, and the reception area was closed and completely dark with no one around. This after having messaged the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late and being told they would wait for us. Fortunately, someone did show up shortly, but it was a bit disconcerting for a few minutes to be waiting in an isolated, dark place. The staff were all professional, but didn’t converse with us much at all, in Spanish or English, when we asked for information or suggestions.

Amazing location, great property with a lot of history. Big room with two comfortable beds, hot shower, amazing breakfast.
We had for heating in the room only very little heater which was not enough to heat the room. So it was really cold in the room. We had many blankets but still really cold.

Very romantic, traditional house, equipped with lots of love for details. The garden is amazing! Our room was very spacious and had a chimney, which is very cosy - especially when it‘s cold outside. Included was a very rich breakfast with fruit, eggs, pastry and juice. We felt very much at home!

The food in the restaurant, the nearness to the archaeological site (which opens at 9.00 am) and the staff; thank you Angel for the hot-water bottles!
We were the only people staying that night and some of the lounge areas were closed. So as it was unusually cold, we stayed in our room apart from having supper in the restaurant.

The staff here was excellent. The room was very cold, but we got a space heater, lots of blankets, and someone came to light a fire in the fireplace.
The food was excellent in the dining room and the hosts were excellent and tried their best to be accommodating, despite seeming to be short-staffed. Also the location next to Ingapirca is excellent.
We didn't have water at all when we first arrived as they'd just had a party of 40 people. In the morning, we had no hot water and it was no fun taking an icy cold shower.

The grounds are as spectacular as the town. You can swing in a hammock and enjoy the sunset or just sit with friends and relax. It's a wonderful place to stay in Ingapirca.

Located at over 10,000 feet elevation in the Canar Andes in Ecuador. Next to Ingapirca Inca Ruins, This 200 year old 4 Hacienda had fireplace in the room, 4 star dining,, and exceptional staff.
Room heating but it was an adventure.

It is very close to the Ingapirca ruins, We were able to walk to the complex. The view from restaurant is excellent, while we had dinner we could see the Ingapirca ruins, and food was delicious. The house is old but well preserved and decorated.
Also I loved the fireplace in the room, and the hotel staff was very kind and attentive.
