Soundproofing does not exist

The location is perfect. Just a few minutes' walk to everything you'd want. There is enough space in the room for 2 people.

I paid for the "better rooms," which included more space and soundproof. These rooms are NOT soundproof at all. Our room stayed lit from the lobby from the hallway the whole night (I added a picture that was taken at 3am in my room). The beds are very, very soft, and the pillows are very thin. This place overall is decent, but I'll look for a different place the next time I'm in Cuenca.

A dream come true

The room had such a wonderful location - The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly - the room for the price was fantastic and the breakfast is second to none.

I like all. A little noisy in the morning but all good.

It's ok

The location was excellent if you want to be close to the cathedral. The staff was very kind and helpful.

On our second stay, the bathroom wasn't clean enough. Breakfast was served at 8 which was not suitable for early birds. The coffee was always cool and instant coffee which is not good for everyone. I was served juices, fruits, and meat I don't eat. Breakfast can be improved.

if you want location stay otherwise think twice to stay at this place

location only

very bad poor breakfast. room had window but toward the passage could not open it and hear people walking by and was so hot in the night. so much noise could hear people talking and was so disturb by the main door bell all the time. Hardly any peaceful sleep.

lovely big room with 2 balconies and huge comfy bed with soft sheets

quite a lot of noise in the mornings coming from the corridors and breakfast area. Road noise very audible if the balcony doors are open- to be expected for central location, but when closed absolutely fine

Lovely place. Unfair misrepresented charges/fees

The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was comfortable & clean. Although they asked if we wanted the room cleaned & we asked for the minimum - empty the waste basket - but they never emptied it.

Our reservation was for a larger room. But upon arrival a smaller room was available that we were asked if that was ok & we agreed would be fine. However, we were charged the amount of the larger room despite taking the smaller which was represented as costing less.

Great location, Great Rooms!

One of my favorite places we stayed. We transferred to this hotel from a previous one, because of location. The rooms are big, lots of lighting, comfy bed. Even though the room we were in was located right off the street, it was not too loud with the doors closed. I will say though that if you leave the doors open, the room starts to fill up with exhaust smell from the busy street next to it. There's no A/C or heater, but it's not needed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The hotel is very secure as the entrance is always locked.

If you happen to be out really late, you need to ring the bell at the entrance to be let in and reception is not always waiting at the front for you.

Very nice place to stay for one or two nights. Near to the main attractions.

Near the town square. Lot of restaurants and bars near by. Decent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Allowed to drop off the luggage, prior to the actual check-in time.

Location location location near centro. Very helpful and friendly reception staff and kitchen. Very very clean. This is our second visit in 4 years. It has improved from very good to terrific.

The bathroom needs an extra hook and perhaps a small shelf

The hotel is really nice and beautiful, we loved the little Patio inside, where they serve breakfast (which was delicious).The location of the hotel is great, it is close to everything! We also loved the beds, they were the most comfortable beds we have slept in in weeks. And the Staff was super nice and friendly, all in all it was a great experience, we would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed this hotel, especially the king room with balcony. It is nice and spacious with good light, a giant king bed, nice wood floors. I think some of the rooms here are on the smaller side, so it was worth going for this one. The staff is super nice and friendly. Breakfast is fine, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, and bread, not so much a fan of white bread but many are. I would stay here again for sure.

Superb

I liked the service and particularly breakfasts. Location was also great and parking is available just a few meters away. The hotel is great for tourists from different places but also for nationals.

The room had very low ceilings and I do not refer to ceilings 2 meters height but 1.50 meters so I had to walk stooped over. Other than that it was a very nice place.

Nice room close in town center

Centrally located within easy walking distance of central park and many restaurants and shops. Comfortable room. Nice staff, the girl at the front desk always had a smile and friendly greeting. Controlled access - you have to be buzzed in and out, I felt very safe there.

The room was advertised as "soundproof" and it did have a double set of doors out to the balcony so you heard very minimal street noise. However, the rooms open into the center courtyard where the breakfast tables are located so you can easily hear the other guests in the hallways, at breakfast, in the lobby, etc. A couple of the families staying at the same time had small children and one little girl screamed continuously, whether she was happy and playing or upset and crying, she screamed. Definitely not soundproof.
