Pretty good

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic.

There were a few issues with the property. The room was very small, which was all good, but this meant the shower + toilet door didn't close properly. Also, the shower would occasionally go scalding hot, which wasn't great

Great location and comfortable

This was not difficult to find. If you come from the airport you can take bus number 29 outside of door 9 and stop either at the bus interchange or the stop before. It’s a short walk from either stop. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Check in was fast. There is a lift. The room was super small but that’s what I booked, a small room that is adequate for me. The bed was elevated so that they could make way for space below the bed for putting your suitcase. Otherwise there was really not much room if you have multiple suitcases. I may be more senior but still able to climb on the bed. I imagine an older less agile guest may have difficulty. If you are claustrophobic or more than one person, get a bigger room. Though small the room surprised me with more than the expected amenities. There are the usual tv, kettle and tea and coffee. There was also a fridge and iron and ironing board. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom had all the usual amenities and toiletries. But I could not switch off this strange pink light. It was probably meant to be a night light for going to the toilet in the night.

Relaxed, Easy and Colourful!!

Spacious reception and appealing!! The room was small but very accommodating for a single night. l liked the all in one glass amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Re booked the same room for my return to Christchurch in 10days time.

Well worth the price

Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was so good for its price. Room Service as well was splendid. Overall super happy with price paid.

Wouldn’t stay there again!

Location was great! Nice and modern, rooms are very tiny but that’s what the pictures shows. Was very happy they had a mini fridge in room, even had shampoo conditioner and body wash that was amazing!!

Staff at reception were lovely but bar and restaurant staff were rude. Bathroom was a little dirty and toilet didn’t flush properly! Tv didn’t connect to the wifi.

Convenient for a budget-friendly and central location

It's the second time I stay at this hotel. I find it a convenient choice if you are looking for a budget-friendly and central location. The bar restaurant in the lobby is good and a few eateries and bars are a short walk from the hotel.

The bathroom has a towel shelf right above the toilet, and the room has a lot of light controls that take a while to figure out. Everything else was fine good.

Conveniently Located

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Nothing to complain about. Staff ever willing to help.

My request for a wake up call did not happen. This was a day that we were taking the Tranz Alpine.

Cosy, clean, friendly and central - Perfect!

The room was perfect for an overnight stop over Very close to bus exchange The restaurant / room service hours are great - food available 20 hours of the day Bed was very comfortable The room was cosy Staff were all very friendly Great vibe in the downstairs seating reception area

Shower floor was very slippery on the outer floor surface - floor grip is good once in and under shower but need caution when first stepping in

Access to laundry. Been able to access clean towels readily.

The TV going in the dining room. Did not want to eat there. I found it really off putting. We were having a drink and the TV music channel was on. It was great. Then bar oerson put a game show on. We left and went elsewhere.

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Christchurch

Perfect location, 24 hours kind reception, small but very smartly-designed room, nice hall with a good bar.

The price was good for the location

The guy working in the bar was great and the meals were very good, it was easy and comfortable to sit downstairs

The room was so small I had to turn sideways to walk around the bed, bathroom was so small I accidentally dropped my toothbrush in the toilet bowl

The location was excellent for exploring the city, great buffet breakfast and the room was funky and comfortable. Ideal for a family wanting to explore the attractions in the CBD.

Had a lovely stay with BF Cashel. Staffs are superstarss, and housekeeps are A+++ always cleaning our room even though they don't have to. High appreciated that service. Would definitely stay again if we go back to ChCh. keep it up
