The property is only 1.7km from the airport, and only cost $4 AUD from the airport. Don’t get scammed by all of the taxi drivers at the airport who said is two zones away and want to charge you $15+. None of their “official’ badges are real. Bluebird taxis are the best ones to get as they have a meter which is accurate, the others don’t use them, hence the charge goes up and up. Ensure you lock in a price less than 50,000 INR otherwise you are being ripped off.
The pool is small but ample.
The free breakfast is scrumptious and the free afternoon teas cakes change daily and you can choose how many you want within reason.
The resort is only a short 200m walk to the Main Street, then cross the road, walk through the Discovery Mall to the beach side walk, turn right about 200m and you will see the 7km of beach’s from Kuta to Canggu stretching out in front of you. The beaches are much cleaner, but don’t expect Pristine beaches here, plastic bottles, single use plastic and other littler still adorned the beaches, although mostly it only seen at low tide. From Legion beach north, the beaches are cleaned with a tractor and sand rake, but Kuta is not.
The surf life savers close most of the open beaches to allow the “paid Surfing schools” to utilise the best parts of the beach, forcing swimmers to walk up to 2km to find a beach to swim at and the swim schools charge an arm and a leg to be taught, surfing.
The little bamboo can inside the room must be hung outside the door if you want your sheets changed or new towels, you are not told about that on check in.
The mini bar is not a ‘’mini bar” with drinks in it like other hotels, it’s a mini fridge.
The safes on the room cannot be trusted to keep your valuables safe, I locked my passports in my suitcase inside some other lockable device.
Don’t leave your door to the balcony open at night, for a breeze otherwise the gheko’s will come in and shite on your bed and floor while you sleep.
The bed sheets had many little stains on them as it looked like that when the resort changed hands 8 years ago, no new linen or towels were re-purchased to replace the old worn and faded once, this can also be seen by the pool towels.

het inclusieve ontbijt was á la carte, erg uitgebreid en het was echt niet nodig om van elke gang iets te bestellen (wat wij de eerste dag dus wél hadden gedaan!). Het zwembad was voldoende, lag in een binnentuin, hebben we echter geen gebruik van gemaakt maar er was overdag wel direct zonlicht voor diegenen die willen zonnebaden. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk!

We only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning so we couldn't explore that much but the staff was so friendly and lovely that our experience was really wonderful. Since we had to leave before breakfast hour, the staff promptly switched our breakfast to a menu dinner which we could enjoy the night before. This was very thoughtful, I appreciate it.

Zentral in Kuta gelegen und für den Transit gut gepasst. Großes Zimmer mit freistehender Badewanne und Balkon. Leider sehr heiß und man kann nicht runterkühlen oder Geräte aufladen wenn man nicht im Zimmer ist.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!!
Das Frühstück war a la carte und es war sehr lecker! Tolles Moringa-Müsli, frisches Obst und frische Fruchtsäfte!

Clean, great quality, modern, resort with friendly staff that do so much to help you - and genuinely say hello and good morning, rather than just saying hi. Special mention for our room attendant Odi, who always cleaned our room to perfection and never missed replacing our consumables - like soap, cotton buds, and coffee etc.
I also like the fact that when they ask you for any feedback a few minor things that I mentioned to them, such as larger quantities of butter for the toast at breakfast, and an additional knife, were acted on immediately. The next morning everyone was being served larger portions of butter and tables were laid with an additional knife. Only small things, but they really want to make any improvements that they can.
We had an adjoining room door in our room which unfortunately meant that we could hear more than we wanted to from our neighbours.

Плохая обработка от москитов, поменял десяток отелей на Бали , тут хуже всего с этим дела. Минибар пустой. На завтраке персонал , в затупках пока не наедешь не начинают вокруг тебя плясать, скромным будет тяжко . В 11 утра начали сверлить , просьба на ресепшен повременить хотя бы до 12 не возымела успеха. Рейтинг 9 много для этого отеля и беда думаю в управлении, т.к. в целом сам отель гуд , а вот системного стремления к совершенству не замечено. На Бали очень много отличных отелей с невероятным отношением, прощаются мелкие косяки на раз два, тут , почему то печаль… и вроде бы норм на одну ночь то!? Но … нет, москиты невероятно кусачие :)))

Das Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr schön und gepflegt. das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen.
Das gesamte Personal ist so freundlich und geht auch auf extra Wünsche ein.
Das einzig negative, dass ich zu dem Hotel sagen kann ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Wenn jemand auf dem Flur entlanggeht ist es von der Lautstärke so als würde man keine Zimmertür haben. Gespräche aus den angrenzenden Nachbarzimmern hört man leider auch.

The front desk staff Candra,Tana,Bawa,Krisna were all very good . The restaurant serves order from menu for breakfast. I thought that was fabulous. It stopped us from overeating and also reduced wastage of food. That was really awesome. The staff at the restaurant were also very polite. The rooms were clean. The resort uses sustainable materials..that's what impressed me most...not much plastic at all...

We loved this place. In busy Kuta near waterbomb but it was very peaceful here.
Location is very handy - short walk to mall, money changers, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Beautifully outfitted - modern features with traditional touches. Spotlessly clean rooms and facilities. I really liked the library.
Gorgeous plunge/lap pool with poolside service.
Very adult vibe which was great for us although a few babies around.
friendly staff and good spa. we felt safe at all times and well looked after. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this Gem.

Camera molto spaziosa, pulita ed accogliente. La posizione, benché la struttura sia in una stradina secondaria, è ottima in quanto a 5/10 minuti dalla spiaggia di Kuta.
Sono stato poche ore perché avevo un volo (aereoporto a 10 minuti di taxi) la mattina presto, ma consiglio questo hotel.
Non potendo usufruire della colazione, per la partenza presto, mi hanno offerto la cena.
In più mi hanno fatto l’upgrade della camera.

Завтраки так себе в том случае, если вы остаетесь более чем на 3-4 дня. Ванна расположена прямо в номере, кондей дует четко на кровать, вас удивит то, как смывается унитаз )

The hotel is in a narrow street and some 200 meter walk from the Main Street at Kuta area. So it sort of away from the noise and buzz of Kuta.
The property looks bit tired including the room. There is sort of musty smell but helps once the air conditioner is on.
I think Kuta area more catered to people who like the noise and buzz of city entertainment. Wasn’t my cup of tea so even though the hotel was good, I would stay in the area.
One thing I like to note that the al a carte breakfast was excellent including the staff.
It’s the Kuta area is what I didn’t like rather than the property. I think for the price, the hotel is a great deal!

We had an upgrade which was lovely. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Breakfast was enormous and perhaps too much food as it was a set menu. Very pleasant stay indeed.
It is a great hotel. Probably not for kids. A place to relax in the hustle and bustle of Kuta.

- Nice location at the heart of Kuta, with shopping mall (5min) and beach (15min) within walking distance; a lot of good restaurants and bars nearby.
- Good breakfast and dining choices (meals and poolside bar)
- Full amenities including comfortable bed and a nice sun bed on each private balcony, which is an amazing touch
- Exceptional service and great hospitality of the staff which is the highlight of my trip. Always attentive to the needs and very friendly (Especially Dea and Widi at reception & restaurant, and Odi at room cleaning)
Room service could be improved. I ordered twice the same dish at the restaurant and via room service, and think the food quality has quite a difference. Nothing major but could help bring it to the next level

Their hospitality is amazing. Mr Yulius was very nice and also Widi at the restaurant (and everybody in the hotel). The hotel was perfectly clean. Breakfast is amazing, delicious and with plenty of choices. We loved how comfortable the bed was. Pool is clean, sunbeds are comfy and you get pool towels, too. There was no noise at night which was great.

Not too far from the beach ie some 150 meters away. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Pleasant and clean hotel with good services from its staff. Breakfast is served to order from its standard menu.
After staying in Ubud and enjoying the surrounding nature, staying in this hotel was just like the normal hotel elsewhere. Could not feel the Balinese as in Ubud. Location of hotel is a little tricky from the main street as you need to approach via a narrow lane about 100 meters in distance. Could hear noises coming from Water Bom which is adjacent to the hotel.
