top service, my each hotel stay is like coming home

God, their breakfast is gorgeous, they offer salmon, pastry, very good coffee, meals are various and very tasteful. Besides, I come for work and very oftenly I have to work in my room, so I can take away coffee, fruits, honey or some pastry with me. Once I didnt have a cup in my room, I went down to the restaurant for it, their restaurant manager Kerim bey occasionaly met me there and sent a plate with pastries and teapot to my room. That was real gest! High rate

believe or not but I never ever experienced unpleasant situations in Grand Mercure hotel. I am experienced traveller, visited more than 30 countries and 50 hotels from no-star till 7-star ratings and quite spoilt. Grand Mercure (Downtown) hotel is my brilliant find in Ankara

Schöne Lage und top im Sommer. Würde ich auch nur für den Sommer empfehlen aber nicht für einen Aufenthalt im Winter. Pr

Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet war auch sehr gut.

Die Fenster in fast allen Stockwerken waren undicht. Es war nachts war es bei ca 0 Grad im Januar. Wir haben uns leider erkältet im Zimmer und haben um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten aber dort waren die Fenster auch undicht. Der Mechaniker hat versucht das Fenster wieder dicht zu verschließen aber es kam immer noch kalte Luft rein. Wir mussten das Hotel leider dann wechseln

Worst 5 star hotel

Just Location

Unprofessional staff and they try to take more money until I called the booking.com and they informed the hotel my booking is paid, you must ask for water, cleaning, soap, everything each day because the staff don't care about you, uncomfortable bed, poor breakfast, AC not good, bad Wi-Fi, the worst 5 star hotel I visited before.

Disappointing

Very clean and the location is amazing

Other than location and cleanliness, not enough was done for the price. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot rate it

Pleasant

decoration in the loby

room was smal, lobby check-in had to wait 45 minuten because there was a group of 20 person handled by 1 staff unfortunately the other staff did not helped me. We came from a 6 hour car trip with3 month old baby. I do not see me coming here back again.

should be maximum 2 stars hotel - horrible experience

horrible hotel and staff ! NO ONE and I really mean it when I say NO ONE speaks English. in room dining zero English, reception everything for them is a No because they don’t understand English

really bad room cleaning, ZERO RESPECT to the do no disturb button, even when I had it on, the hotel staff will just enter and open your room! happened 3 times with me

Does not deserve the Grand Mercure name

Not part of the Accor loyalty program, had to request 4 times an iron and ultimately had to go downstairs in-person to get one. Windows do not close and noise goes through. Bathroom was not clean

Very good

The staff were wonderful, the beds were comfortable and the place itself was beautiful.

It was disappointing that the staff did not mention the pool closure at the time of booking. This should be advertised online and over the phone. Also, the beds did not have any bedding when we arrived.

Good for 1 day visit; but for longer stay, the kitchen must be improved.

The food was really not tasty enough. There are night clubs nearby; so a bit noisy during nights.

Cleanliness

Since the hotel is located in a party area, it is very noisy at the evenings. Soundproofing does not help.
