Absolute perfect stay - the best hosts and setting I have ever experienced.

The setting was an absolute sanctuary for our family. My mom went for a very high risk surgery and our stay the day before the operation was very calming and our lovely hosts made us feel cared for and loved on a level that I have never felt from any stranger. The dogs Barbie and Hamish were the perfect therapy dogs. We even stayed there one night after fetching my mom from hospital and the level of care, compassion and comfort we received was perfect for her recovery. She was lying outside on the couch next to the pool in the tranquil garden and I will cherish those memories always. Oh and breakfast was not just amazing value for money but very delicious, with my favorite surprise being the homemade relish! We will definitely be going back!

Everything, except the pillows. Communication with owners were excellent. Location suited us. Clean facilities. Value for money.

Pillows....although pillows are a personal preference so maybe it was just us not finding it comfortable. Nevertheless we would stay there again.

It was neat and clean. Check-in was easy and the person who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The noises were to a minimum which allowed me to study. I liked the toiletries and towels provided. I will stay here again.

I couldn't boil the kettle in the morning and didn't have warm water to shower in the morning. It was cold and I would've like another blanket or been told beforehand to bring my own. I never saw any staff to ask for anything I needed (didn't have sugar for coffee one day).

Extremely Racists

The Owner Shalom . That man literally didn't want us to come perhaps because of our skin colour. I remember before I made a reservation, I called him just to check few things with him regarding the facilities, he claimed that he was fully booked. After I hang up the call I decided to make reservations via booking.com and after he saw my reservations he called me and pretended like nothing happened. I was charged R1300 for 2 nights on Booking.com ,but to my suprise when we arrive to his premises, we were charged R300 extra and R200 deposit. In the morning we were requested to take our car out so that his white guests cars can park comfortable. I REGRET GOING THERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Lovely. Excellent value for money. Beautiful and quietq

I loved the quiet, tranquil surroundings and spacious proportions. The cottage had everything we needed and we were most comfortable. The shower was nice and hot and loadshedding was never an issue. An absolute bargain, overall

We weren't given a key for the front door of the apartment and the property owner let himself into the cottage while we were asleep on Sunday morning. My partner was not particularly impressed.

Loved Everything!! Wonderfull welcoming hosts. Spacious and 20/10 for cleanliness The neighborhood is quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. Loadshedding is no problem because of their Solar backup. Thank You for a wonderfull stay!

We had a lovely stay, it was peaceful and quiet. Our hosts were very attentive, lovely people.

The breakfast was lovely with a selection of fresh fruit, coffee, juice and eggs on toast.

A real Bed and Breakfast experience

very pretty and thoughtfully appointed property. gracious and warm hosts. clean and comfortable apartment, designed with care. close to many shopping centers and in safe neighborhood. went above and beyond to offer us vegan breakfast. good wifi, solar system to supply continuous power during cuts, cute dogs!

This accommodation was incredible! We felt at home and so safe from the first second and Shalom and his family made this possible! The interaction was so warm and there was nothing we were missing! Breakfast was very good to! If you are in Johannesburg there is no way around staying with this wonderful family (inkluding the dogs ❤️)!

It is a beautiful property and the area is excellent, such a lovely place to stay. Shalom is a super host, he is so helpful and such a nice person, we loved his hospitality. I will recommend this place for everyone, especially for Family, it feels safe and secure.

Walter is an absolute charmer and the stay was most pleasant! We will be coming back

The highlights have to be (in no particular order): Walter and Patrick, the dogs Melody and Tutti (our daughter now wants a dog...), the breakfast, the personal touch and relaxed manner of the whole place. The location is great too because if you need to be in and around Randburg like we do, this is perfect. Cresta is basically within walking distance.

Slightly smaller than expected room, although maybe I'm just too big (I wish this meant only tall...) The beds were good, but not great.

It could’ve been cleaner.

Friendly hosts. Good pressure shower.

The room was dusty, seemed to not have been in use or cleaned in a while. Someone kept coming into the room everyday, but they never cleaned. Just spread out the sheets, didn’t change them. The carpets were not clean either.
