it's a beautiful place, everything is very clean and the staff were very friendly. My room was really cold due to time of the year and i was immediately given a heater. Very happy overall
i'm a bit taller than the average portuguese person so the bed was a little bit small for me, but otherwise everything was perfect.

It was below our personal standard

great value
very basic comforts

I had a clean single room with balcony for myself.
The host drove guests to the restaurant because the hostel was far from the center of town. Otherwise, the nearest restaurant would be about 3 km walk.
There was only one toilet-bathroom in the 2nd floor where guest suites are. The shower stall drainage was very slow. It looks dirty and needs new caulking. There was a small extra toilet-bath in the 1st floor but I can say the same thing about it.
The location is far from restaurants.

The owner was very frendly, took us on his car to the restaurant so we could have meal. The room was confortable, clean and silence. Perfect for rest.

spacious, well furnished and clean. Owner can do our laundry for a small fee. She also drives to restaurant in the evening and back. value for money.
need some shelf space or a small desk to put things.

Comfy bed, family friendly
Everything very dated and tired looking. Although there is a kitchen area, no one when walking, brings food and as there was nowhere nearby to buy food, had to go without breakfast. I have paid 15 euros at other places and breakfast was included.
6.0
one of the first on the Camino trail
expensive compared to others.
a bit out of town.
The offer to go to a local restaurant rages you to their family restaurant which is sterile and overpriced. the pilgrims go to Bom Retiro which is closer and better (ask to be dropped here)

thé albergue was a welcome sight on our camino.
we found the facilities good enough although basic whoch was fine for us.
the staff were friendly and helpful and drive us to the restaurant for dinner .

Remote location along a main road but still quite peaceful. the host was nice. He brough us to a local restaurant for dinner where the food was quite nice.
The bed was quite hard. the shower leaked all over the floor.

The hosts were wonderful. They drove us to their family owned restaurant for our dinner - delicious 3 course incl wine pilgrim menu for €10pp. The room was huge with a washing line for Camino laundry. Comfy beds.
There was no fan or AC but lots of mosquito's so we couldn't have the window open to sleep without getting bitten. As a result the room was stuffy and hot at night. Recommend a fan so tired Camino walkers can get a good night's sleep without

Andre was lovely!! Drove us to dinner, washed clothes, and just overall truly lovely.

The owner is very helpful and the room is clean.
There is no restaurant is walking distance in the area.
4.0
The room was big and the plumbing worked. There was a nice big kitchen and fridge.
The location is very bad - nearly a 20 minute walk to town, and the only option for dinner (besides walking in the dark) is to be driven to a restaurant owned by the hostel owner. They make you pay to use the laundry machine, which is fine, but the refuse to use the drying machine and did not leave enough time for my clothes to dry in the line, so they were wet. Check in was a mess as well. The windows in my room were left open before my stay and flies got in, so I woke up covered in mosquito bites and they were buzzing in my ears all night.

Too much noise.

Grateful staff, early check in that was nice. The owners are very accommodating.
A fan in the room would of been nice.
