Andy and Heulwen where lovely hosts and where always ever so helpful and complete pro's! We struggled a little with the parking but we were allowed to park in a easier spot (much appreciated). On one morning, we needed an early start and early breakfast serving was no issue at all. If we ever needed information locally, recommendation or a glass, a plate etc, this was never an issue. The location was superb being in a quiet setting with incredible views, yet only minutes drive from the town. Everything was really clean, the rooms were well thought out with plenty of space and storage and useful touches like USB power blocks (first time we'd seen this!).
No problems at all

Everything about our stay was first class. My wife was poorly during our stay and Heulwen and Andy could not have been more helpful and comforting. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast excellent. I would heartily recommend the guest house to others and I hope we will be able to return in the near future

Everything about it was excellent and the views from the property were lovely.
It was a few miles outside Dolgellau which meant a trip down a narrow road to go for dinner.

Breakfast - spoiled for choice and deliciously cooked breakfast, home-made jam on the table was a real delight. Spacious beautifully decorated dining room with large window overlooking the garden and the surrounding mountains; mint from the garden for our herbal tea every morning! Andy and Heulwin are exceptional hosts, they made us feel welcome and special and we enjoyed sharing a glass or two of wine with them on the patio, admiring the beautiful landscape. Unique and unforgettable experience.
There was absolutely nothing we did not like.

The property is sited in an idyllic location in mid-wales in the village of Llanfachreth. We arrived on a Friday evening and received a warm welcome from the hosts, Heulwen and Andy. Both Heulwen and Andy are fantastic hosts, courteous, welcoming and generous. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and gave us top tips on what to do in the area. They are lovely, lovely people and a real asset to the experience at this property.
The property was designed by Andy himself and built in the early 90s, and is perfect. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. We had the double en-suite room with fantastic views of the surrounding hills and large door leading to a beautiful back garden. The whole property is kept very clean. The full English Breakfast was delicious, but we particularly enjoyed the home-made rubharb jam. Thanks Heulwen and Andy for the hospitality, we will definitely be back.
There is no mobile signal in the village. But honestly? Who cares when you are in paradise?
