Excellent choice

This is the second time we have stayed here. We had 2 apartments this time. It's a very clean, well maintained small apartment hotel. Minutes from the restaurants and bars. The apartments are of a good decent size, well maintained. The pool area is nice, a lovely peaceful setting like the rest of the hotel. We had snacks from the restaurant whilst at the pool which were good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Only small criticism is kitchen equipment could be better, no microwave; but we managed to make all the meals we wanted to. Though there are so many good places to eat in Turunc.

Superb

When we were moved up to second floor half way through holiday, as requested, the room was superb. Bright, sunny and quiet. Well equipped - modern and clean. All the staff were exceptional and at all times very helpful. The residence was in a quiet tucked away street which we liked. Pool area relaxing and clean. Thank you!

First bedroom was quite dark as on ground floor and not so well equipped. Beside bar so bit noisy with the music and not very private balcony.

Comfortable, well located and excellent value for money

This is the second time we have stayed at the Dores Residence and again it proved to be a lovely place to stay. Our one bed apartment was very well equipped. The wifi was reliable and decently fast. There was a cold snap at the beginning of our holiday but fortunately there was heating via the air conditioning units in the apartment so it wasn't a problem. The bed was comfortable too. The staff are lovely and did everything possible to make us welcome and enjoy our time there. We can recommend the Turkish breakfast here as well, being of excellent quality and very good value. Dores Residence is close to the main street and beach in Turunc, but just far enough away to be quiet. The pool area and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. In summary, the Dores Residence is a comfortable and very well managed establishment offering good value for money. We will be staying here again.

Superb

Great hotel in a quiet and peaceful town among the mountains. Breathtaking nature all around. Very nice to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist season in the hotel. The hotel staff made a particularly good impression --- nice to talk to and you can address any problem. Hope to visit again.

The 11 of us really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel really welcome. The accommodation was very good in each of the 3 apartments - good quality and very clean, relatively well equipped. The facilities such as the swimming pool and bar were great. The location close to the restaurants, bars and supermarkets was great. Highly recommend Dores.

Highly recommend Dores. Hard to find fault. Only suggested improvements are that the kitchen equipment could be better - more utensils (spatulas, salad bowl), oven gloves, tea towel. Having a microwave oven. Other suggestion is they should offer towels to hire for the pool and beach.

Dangerous stairway. Poor wifi reception. No British TV. Basic furniture throughout.

The hotel is fully compliant with the description and photos on the website. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped. The only thing to consider is if you will be cooking in the rooms there is no dish detergent. The hotel is in a quiet location, yet close to the beach - a 5-10 minute walk. There are no problems with parking.

A little oasis. Such an amazing place, a little gem in a perfect location. Clean, well equipped and really friendly staff. The manager spoke good English and was very helpful

Was really nervous to have our passports taken off us on arrival in the early hours of the morning. We were told they would be returned the next day but we could see they were left on the unattended desk with all the windows and doors open so anyone could have taken. Would have felt happier if they were being locked in the safe.

The apartment was very clean and spacious, the pool area was gorgeous and well kept. We only ate lunch there, which was always nice. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. The apartments are situated in a great location, tucked away on a back street but still very local to the main streets that are filled with lovely restaurants, shops and bars. Beach a 5 min walk away. We loved our stay at The Dores, great spot for a young family. Turunc is absolutely beautiful and perfect for families, just enough life but kept it’s pretty atmosphere.

The WiFi wasn’t great from the rooms but great around the pool area.

everything about this place was wonderful but the staff really made it extra special for us as the customer service was

spacious, spotlessly clean, good kitchen amenities, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. pool area was beautiful and well maintained. food was amazing and very good value from the restaurant and the staff were so attentive, helpful and keen to make our stay perfect. great location 5 mins walk from shops, restaurants, bars and beach

perhaps more sun loungers needed at busy times. the garden is beautiful perhaps using this area for sun loungers would help.

The apartment was really big . We could chill out downstairs while kids were asleep upstairs . Been off from the road is really convenient. A lot of other places have the pool right next to the road

This place is a find! 5 Stars from us!!

This place is a gem deserving 5 star status. as a family of 4 we couldn’t have had a more perfect location. Dores is immaculate , so unbelievably clean, modern and attractive. The apartment is spacious, attractive dark wood furnityre and it has a washing machine, fridge, freezer and two balconies. The linen is changed and super white on luxurious beds. The pool is beautiful, the staff and service is exemplary and the food is such good value for money and so good we stopped going elsewhere. We are already looking at dates to return next year. a real find and a rare jewel of a place in our eyes.

A great base for our week in Turunc. This is a good choice for somewhere to stay, in this area.

Set back from the noise, peaceful, quiet and well located. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food and drink is good and reasonably priced. The pool is nice. The staff are excellent, so friendly, polite and helpful.

Everything, the staff were wonderful, rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. But the best bit was it was so peaceful.

Nothing, it was just perfect. And no hidden costs for air-conditioning or any other services.

Very pleasant

Perfect setting for access to the shops and harbour. The pool was perfectly clean as was the communal areas, restaurant and reception area.

Great 3 weeks stay in late spring, will be back

This property is a bit secluded, the excelent pool area is not visible from the road, the apartment has a small functionel kitchen, a super bathroom with a good sized shower cubical and a washing machine

A very pleasant and well managed hotel in a great location

The property is well maintained with the pool area being particularly pleasant. The pool is of a good size and not overlooked from the outside of the property. Drinks and snacks are available from the poolside cafe. The grounds are also very well maintained. Our room had everything we needed and we found the bed comfortable. The shower was a good size and worked well. The property is in a quiet location just a short walk (5 mins) from the beach and town where there are many restaurants and bars. We will certainly stay here again.

Our room didn't have a microwave oven. I mention this because from memory when we booked a microwave was included with the room facilities. It was however not a problem for us and I assume one would be provided if we had requested it.
