Handy to downtown Oxford.
Maybe a bit tired.... Could do with a bit of an update
4.0
The location was good you can reach the centre within an 10 min walk. It is a mostly quiet neighbourhood besides some construction work on some surrounding houses.
The hotel room itself was spacious.
The hotel itself does not have a reception are so you need to pick up the keys at a restaurant down below the hotel, so it depends if the restaurant is open or not, there is no phone number etc. to contact the hotel anywhere. The man who hands out the keys was not very hospitable and welcoming. So it was an over all uncomfortable situation not having a reliable reception and interacting with people who not seem to have much experience in hospitality over all.
5.0
The neighbourhood and centrality
No hot water for the bathroom basin—had to boil up a kettle. It was shabby, staff were not always around and it was not worth £100 per night!

Good
Lots of things!

Great location.
ABIT confused thought the original info said breakfast was included.
It definitely wasn't.
7.0
Great location, clean and quiet room, with quirky character.
No staff to speak to at check-out time. I wanted to leave a bag at reception while I went for a walk but reception is in the restaurant and it was all locked up in the morning.

Location
The room did not match the pictures and was very out dated. We ended up booking another hotel for the night.

Good location at a reasonable price. Very nice decor. Walking distance to the station. Helpful staff.

great location and staff very helpful

The staff were friendly and the room was large. It was easy to find and conveniently positioned
It was extremely uncomfortable, the beds and pillows were rock hard. The bathroom was clean but very small and cramped, and we could hear literally everything in surrounding rooms as walls and ceilings were so thin.

This was a cute place in a nice, quiet neighborhood. While not exactly in the center, it wasn’t far from it, and the value for the money was excellent. I come to Oxford regularly, and frankly, it was just as good and in some ways even better than some of the places I’ve stayed in right in the center of town.
Check-in was rather confusing because I had to find someone down in the restaurant instead of in the office area.

Clean very quiet.
Best value for money
Location perfect.

Proximity to town centre.
The apartment was dirty, dusty, mouldy especially in the ensuite. It was smelly, probably due to the kitchen below which serviced the restaurant. The wifi was flaky. We were overcharged. Definitely highway robbery for below standard accommodation. Would be struggling for 2 stars.

Spacious room, with some nice Persian / Middle Eastern touches in furnishings. Tea and coffee making facilities. Strong WIFI. Great location between city centre and the Oxford University college I attended for my conference. The independent Lebanese restaurant at ground level (below the hotel) is fabulous!
The single bed was quite narrow. I had expected breakfast, and was quite surprised to find there was none! I wonder why the restaurant at ground floor level can't provide breakfast in the mornings? For £100 / night, I do expect breakfast to be included.

Friendly staff, comfortable clean room with nice windows. Well located for a visit to Oxford. I will stay here again!

Fridge, view, size of the room were fine. Staff was friendly. Didn't hear other guests and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet at night. It was very warm but the fan helped to make it a better temperature. The room and bathroom were clean when we arrived.
I had the room with external bathroom (room 8). The shower was hard to figure out: you could either boil or freeze yourself. The bathroom was too small to dry yourself with a towel so you had to walk through the hallway practically naked. The towel left white fluff on your skin. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were ripped. At some point in the morning the Wi-Fi stopped working. There was no staff in the morning and no explanation on where to drop off the keys. Also, there were no breakfast options. You can only park your car next to the hotel for 3 consequtive hours before 8 am or after 18.30 pm.

Easy checkout. Location.
Rooms are outdated. Checkin was confusing as we did not know where to go. Shower room was not maintained, cobwebs on the corner. Not thoroughly cleaned. Staff weren't very helpful.
