excellent séjour. en Croatie

Nous avons été reçu chaleureusement par Marco qui est une personne très gentille et accueillante. Nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners et diners servi copieusement et typiquement local. Nous avons apprécié le cadre insolite des lieux ( chambres aménagées dans des tonneaux ) le calme la piscine .Remerciements à Marco très satisfait de notre séjour.

Great location close to the national parc Krka, great accommodation and wonderful host, who could advise us about what to see, rent us material for via ferata and… make us discover great Croatian cuisine! And he has great wine too :-)!

Quirky place to stay with great host

Quirky accommodation but clean and comfy. Pool to cool off in and terrace to relax in the sun. Marco the host and chef very friendly and accommodating. Can't imagine how he manages to tend his vines and the guests! Lots of home made, sorry should say Marco made, dishes, you are definitely eating local.

Marko's place was our favorite night of our honeymoon. So unique and he was so hospitable and kind. The wine and home cooked meals were delicious as well.

Our stay was awesome! Marko was so kind and welcoming. We loved the family style dinner prepared by Marko. The wine barrel rooms were cute and very clean. We wished we stayed another night. About 30 minutes to the entrance of Krka National Park.

Unique stay in 45,000L wine barrels!

Such a unique concept for an agriturismo - 150 year old 45 thousand litre wine barrels converted into individual guest rooms!!! Simple period furnishings, modern private bathroom, great wifi, air conditioning, TV. Nice pool with plenty of seating. Across the lane is Marco's restaurant located in his grandfather's converted farmstead. We booked dinner which was delicious - beef goulash with handmade gnocchi and Marco's homemade red wine pressed from grapes in his own vineyard. Breakfast was simple but delicious with homemade fig jam and fresh bread. Marco was quick to respond to questions and is a genial, caring host who is clearly very proud of his agritourism business.

An unusual and delightful way to stay in a country village

Mr Duvancic was welcoming and very helpful, and cooked us delicious Croatian specialities in the evening—including a peka. The rooms were wonderful, made from 19th century wine vats (they held 42000 litres each, apparently!) but are now very comfortable with all mod cons. The farm is well-situated for exploring the local countryside and enjoying flowers, but is also modern in approach. Mr Duvancic has experimented successfully with UV-C instead of pesticides on his wine, and we enjoyed both his wine and the meat of his free-range pigs in tasty smoked ham and succulent pork.

Unique experience in quiet countryside

Unique experience to sleep in old wine barrel in quiet countryside. Owner Marko is fantastic person, so friendly, helpfull and funny. This was experience that we'll remember rest of our lives.

Best place to stay in Croatia.

The Agroturizam Duvancic is a must to stay if you are visiting Krka National Park or on your way to/from Split. Incredible accommodation (how often do you get to sleep in a 140 yr old 40 000l wine barrel!!). Very clean and quiet. You must eat at attached restaurant and get Marco to cook for you. Incredible dinner of turkey and bilini. Best meal on our entire trip of Croatia.

Wonderful experience in a serene location!

Such a fun and interesting place to stay! The wine barrels were exciting but also well-appointed and very comfortable. Location was convenient for our visit to Krka National Park. Marko is a terrific, warm, and funny host. We learned much about wine-making and Croatian culture from him. We ate dinners and breakfasts in his restaurant and everything was delicious, hearty, and homemade.

We loved our stay in a wine barrel! A very unique experience which we have not stopped talking about!

An unusual place to stay but brilliant fun! Our arrival was straightforward and Marko was welcoming. He was relaxed and had a good sense of humour. We enjoyed our evening meal, Marko’s homemade wine and the breakfast too! The pool was clean and refreshing and had some sun loungers around too.

perfect family reunion in Oklaj

we have stayed at Marko’s before & this time we bought 7 family members for a reunion with family in Oklaj. Marko made our visit so special we will be talking about this trip for years. we love the rustic yet comfortable ‘barrels’. marko made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and a great authentic dinner. we also enjoyed meeting his son, daughter & other guests.

It was a priceless experience.

Being there was an unmissable experience, especially due to the ingenuity of the owner Marko of having converted the 40 thousand liter wine barrels into hotel rooms. Been there really solved the curiosity of having been lodged in the middle of a national park. The restaurant, the food and the extreme friendliness of the owner Marko stole our admiration.

It was a great great experience. The location was absolutely beautiful and the owner Marko was great. We felt like home, we took a look in his wineyard, chilled in front of our room and the rooms are very cute and a different experience. Beside that Marko cooked for us and the other guests in his restaurant and we drank some great wine. The area and atmosphere were perfect, would definitly recommend this

Spending the night in a wine barrel

They stay Agroturizam Duvancic was simply amazing. The wine barrels originating from the 70ties are very comfortable and unique. The owner is extremely friendly and educated and offers a 30years cooking experience at night together with self made Wines ; white or red. The city is quiet but will perfectly do as a hub to Krka national park. The place pool offers a few hours of reIaxing and experience the Croatian countryside. I highly recommend this spot, will come back for sure. A supermarkt is just 5 minutes drive away.

We absolutely loved this hotel. You feel like you are visiting some relatives, not staying in a hotel :) The room itself is an artpiece. Also they have a swimming pool, playground and some agriculture staff on the territory. Marco is a great host! He cooked the best dinner in our whole trip! Also there is a wineyard, the wine is served for dinner and it is quite good!

A hairdryer is a room would be good. But I didn't ask. Most probably it was available.

Amazing experience. Excellent food, design on the accommodations and excellent host “Marko”. We asked Marko a bunch of questions and he was always helpful with useful information. We stayed here for 2 nights and used it as a hub to go to Krka National Park and Cetina. Overall great experience.

Amazing

This was a wonderful place to stay. The Room's were a real novelty and really nice. Everything was clean. Although we didn't use the pool it was a lovely area to sit out and had a nice peaceful feel. The food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. The hosts were really flexible with us and very accomodating of our meal times. We felt very welcomed and well looked after. The rooms and restaurant were nicely decorated with many interesting objects that made a nice talking point. I highly recommend staying here.
