Location is good. Close to city centre.

This place need DEEP CLEANING and carpet replacement. Carpet in the rooms is very dirty and smells very bad. We have stayed in Whangarei in many places with similar price range that have 10 times better conditions to offer.

With a little work, it could be so much better

Close to some amazing bush walks, bridges and waterfall. A short walk into town and shops.

The bed was far too soft. At first we thought it was the mattress but we think that it's the bed springs. We also had to go buy some pillows as the supplied ones were past it.

Beds were comfy, had good facilities and household items, hosts were welcoming, great location, smart tv, sky tv

Position of the tv compared to the lounge, light didnt work, shower wad small, toilet was squishy right in front of shower, yard was messy and lots of screws all over the ground so not very child friendly.

Perfect option as a Stand-alone property so akes you feel like youre at home!

Private and met our needs. Great to have Sky TV, WiFi access and all th basic neccesities.

it was a quaint property to stay, the facilities were simple, the property was user friendly, off the beaten track, so quite private.

You get what you pay for.

We liked it was peaceful and off the main roads. Close to town. Only a 5-10 min drive. Michelle was a great hostess and was very quick to replace a not so great frypan on the night we tried cooking dinner. However we got dinner using a sandwich press and the oven which was electric. We were able to enjoy our bacon and eggs the next morning using the electric frypan. We were also very warm, heatpump worked great. Over all didn't see much of the owners, we felt we had privacy. Was something different than what we would normally book, only because we were expecting more people to join us at the time of booking. Good water supply, not long to heat. Great to have a washing machine if your planning on staying longer than 3 or 4 nights.

I think it was more cosmetic than anything and that can be all fixed. There was a power point beside the bed on the right that didn't work. The blinds looked tacky and same with the curtains. An untidy wrecked chair in the main room. I wouldn't think a glass table would be good for a family with lil ones. (Sharp edges) Also there was no gas but we did mention it. Was quiet what we were expecting. Maybe to look better internally I think.

Uncomfortable Stay

The location of the property is excellent, in the geographical center of the city. It sits back at the end of the driveway so it is quiet at night, good for sleeping.

The house conditions were unsatisfactory and disappointing. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many accommodation properties so far but this one was the worst. It did not look like a "holiday home" but a cheap and crowded rental house without proper maintenance. Bathroom floor tiles were broken and one of my team member's feet was cut by the sharp edge. Shower door roller was missing and door did not close properly. Shower head was old and kept dropping. Fan and ceiling were dusty with spider web. Very good

Location was good and was very accommodating to my10 people family...actually we still had lots more beds free😁

Would loved it if spa bath was going and wish it had a pool.

Disappointing

I liked sunset view and mountains Kids loved to see sheeps Center location

Only disappointed with Barbeque which was uncleaned and very old blankets in kids room provided which needs to change it There is some mosquitoes in kids room There was only one toilet paper roll

not for a second time.

The bed was fine and we could park close by the house

The foto's in the ad were from the bigger house that was not for rent. There was no indication where the house was, only the name of the street. Took some time to find it. The house wasn't very clean. Bathroom and kitchen were dirty. Carpet in the bedroom had stains.Rubbish under the deck and old windows and wood against the shed next to the house. First thing we did was clean up.
