Our stay at Banana Garden was disappointing.

The place looked okay, but the pictures are a bit misleading.

We arrived at the place and were shown to our hotel room. There, we were met with a room that hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom didn't look good at all, so we asked them to clean the room while we went out. The hotel room also came with uninvited guests: there were quite a few small bugs, especially ants. Additionally, the pool was dirty, and the receptionist didn't speak English, making communication difficult and requiring us to use Google Translate. When we returned, they had made an effort to clean, but it wasn't good enough. Therefore, we chose to check out of Banana Garden and change our accommodations. Overall, it was a generally poor experience, unfortunately.

Would definitely return if we are back on Hoi an

Love everything about this place, good location, beautiful spacious clean rooms, pool perfect for both kids and adults, delicious breakfasts. My family had a really relaxing time here, everything is so wonderful, like being immersed in nature. The staffs are really well-trained, they support us a lots, hope to see all of you guys next time! :)

BEWARE!! Superior room in pictures isn't as shown

We liked the location, the free bikes were great the staff were nice, the breakfast was decent apart from my partner who is coeliac had no real options other than fruit. The rooms were cleaned daily and new bottled waters were left in the room for us.

We booked a superior room and when we got to our room it wasn't like the pictures on the booking.com website it was infact alot smaller and when we told the staff they said the pictures were of the deluxe room which they said they have tried to change the pictures for the superior room which didn't make sense. The reason we booked the room was from the pictures that we had thought we were getting so others beware when booking. The shower in our room was the worst one we have came across the temperature wouldn't regulate and it was from extreme cold to boiling water no in-between. There were roosters across the way from the hotel that every morning around 6:30am would continuously make noise for quiet some time so I'd advise if you are a light sleeper wear ear plugs. No cushions on the metal chairs on the balcony.

Helemaal top!

Locatie was prima, 10min lopen naar oude centrum, prima voor ons, want daardoor rustige locatie! Tip: het hotel uit, rechts het straatje uit en dan gelijk de “grote” weg oversteken (naast een massage salon geloof ik) Dan loop je helemaal langs het water naar het oude centrum! Ontbijt was perfect en de kamers groot en schoon! Evenals de badkamer! Al het personeel is even vriendelijk en helpen je met alles, echt fijn! Onze kamer was in het gedeelte zonder lift, dus dat is wel ff goed om te checken als je slecht ter been bent, maar voor ons was het geen probleem!

Niks dat niet beviel!

Well situated along riverside close to HoiAn's ancient town.

The breakfast was really good, lots of choice and made to order eggs and pancakes plenty of fresh fruit. Pool small but very nice. Nice and clean with fresh towels and water daily. Location is excellent just a short walk from old town along the river. Staff were kind and helpful to book anything you require. Free bikes which we used to go to the beach about 30 mins away.

It's not really a criticism as can't help the size but our room was quite small with tiny bathroom, my husband kept banging his head on the towel rail when exiting shower.

Ganz ok, mehr aber nicht

Gute Lage, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zur Altstadt. Es gibt gratis Fahrräder. Wir haben über das Hotel zwei Ausflüge gebucht, hat alles super geklappt, auch der Flughafentransfer. Die Menschen dort sind sehr nett und bemüht.

Leider spricht das Personal kaum Englisch, die Verständigung ist nicht ganz leicht. Die Dusche ist furchtbar. Das Wasser kommt entweder kalt oder kochend heiß, dazwischen gibt es nichts. Das Fenster im Bad lässt sich nicht öffnen und der Geruch im Bad ist wirklich unangenehm.

Très bon séjour

Taille et confort de la chambre et du lit. Accueil et gentillesse du personnel Très bon petit déjeuner, très varié. Prêt de vélos très appréciable pour visiter Hoi An et ses alentours. Proximité avec la rivière ( beau spectacle avec nombreux bateaux éclairés le soir)

Very good hotel

Super nice hotel with very friendly people. We felt very safe and welcomed here. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was very nice to have and we always had very quiet nights. The smiles welcoming you to breakfast were warm and bright. They also catered awesome for us as we are vegetarian and vegan, we always had enough food to choose from for breakfast. It is just a 20-minute walk to the center of Oldtown. Around the hotel, you can find a big variety of restaurants, also vegetarian/vegan ones. We can highly recommend this hotel for an even longer stay in Hoian.

Good stay, great value for money, would stay again.

Banana garden was a lovely place to stay, the staff were really helpful and the breakfast/food was great. The room was clean and spacious. Location was good, 20 minute walk from the old town, but we didn’t mind and there were plenty of restaurants near by.

The shower wasn’t great, run either boiling hot or cold, no in between. The bath in our room didn’t work unfortunately. These are the only negatives, the rest was good!

Room for improvement but not the worst.

Good location about 10/15 min walk to the main town but there’s restaurants on the walk down. Beds were really big and comfy. Really good selection of breakfast with a good mix of western food and Asian food. The rooms are nice and spacious with a balcony also.

Showers were either boiling hot or too cold so was really awkward having a shower. There are lots of chickens near by which make a lot of noise ( at about 5am in the morning) and since the windows aren’t the best either you can really hear them making it hard to sleep.

Wonderful experience !!

We have wonderful experience at Banana Villa ,to the level that we extended one day visit cancelling our Denang Hotel .The room were cozy and clean and breakfast wholesome. The host was kind enough to take care of food even though we reached quite late. The Staff organized bikes and recommended us places to visit .The location was perfect ,with all the spots near by. The hospitability and staff was wonderful .It was perfect worth of money. We take great memories from HO ANN. Highly recommended

Great service, super helpful- helped organised drivers and got us into a great cooking class- Swimming pools great, Breakfast was awesome, Bikes there you can use to help see the sights. A Short walk into the main drag of Hoi An.

Great stay in quiet area.

Great villa a bit outside the hustle and bustle but the bikes were very helpful for us to go visit the old town and centre. The staff were all very accommodating and helped us do washing.

Next time we would probably stay closer to the beach side of Hoi An.

Good location and venue

The area was very quiet, not a lot of traffic and close to the city center on foot. Everything was good about the installations, well equipped with AC and fridge. They offer you free bikes if you want to get a ride and see the area and go to the beach too! The staff were really friendly and attentive with us. Very Good experience with them!

Our balcony had a leak. Water kept dripping, making the floor constantly wet and just not usable at all.

Really good location… so close to old town but very quiet.

The place, the location, the crew. Pretty much no fault we had an amazing stay. The breakfast is really good and the owner always make sure everything is ok. Great place to relax and close to everything!

Little misunderstanding about the room but quickly fixed. Besides this nothing we disliked.
