The studio is very beautiful and clean. Great breakfast with everything you wish for, they bring it even to your room. Nice shower, beautiful garden and a cute little swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Basically… everything!
It was wow surprising. We booked it on the short hand, just a couple hours before. Hélder was welcoming in every way he could. He even called the restaurant nearby to order a take away. And shared with us wonderfully hot jindungo.
There are sheep in the property. The facilities are very comfortable, the mattress and sofa were really good. Every detail is very well thought out and carefully looked after. The property and inside studio are beautiful.
Crib available, no extra charge. Nice breakfast brought to us at the door step at the agreed time.
What’s there not to be liked?

The owner was very welcoming and brought us very good breakfast in the morning (coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, fruits, cold cuts and cheeses and tons of fresh bread and pastries from a bakery). The property is beautiful and well maintained, recommend!
They have a large dog who freely walks around the property. We didn’t mind as we love dogs but for people who are afraid of dogs that might be an issue.

we are walking the Camino de Santiago- crossing to the west. This was a piece of luxury and rest. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming and generous. The breakfast great. The pool a joy.

amazing garden and well maintained outside facility.
Beds are on a second floor and the rest of the facility was downstairs.

The quinta was very pretty, both the outside part and inside our studio. It is located in a quiet street but there are a couple of tavernas in the end of the street.
Quality materials, nice furniture. Nice and clean pool and garden. We appreciated the cleanliness of the studio.
The quinta cannot be reached through the phone number indicated on Booking.com, it says the number is not attributed. In our email exchange the owner revealed his mobile number where we were able to reach him eventually.
We did not appreciate the attitude of the owner. One particular incident left a very bad taste: we asked him politely to lock up his big, unfriendly and intimidating dog that was barking at us because we were afraid of it. He locked the dog but 2 hours later, while sitting next to the pool, we again noticed the dog walking around. We had to literally sneak into our studio so that the dog does not notice us. We had to phone the owner and ask him a second time to lock it because we do not dare to come outside...! He did not even offer an apology, if anything, he seemed annoyed. If you host (paying!) guests, this cannot happen, especially that in previous reviews, as I have noticed, the issue of the dog has been brought up already. To us this shows a lack of respect to your customers.
We found that some details were on the cheapest side: the breakfast was rather poor, for example including the cheapest hypermarket cheese. Meager quantities. Also, the same cheap hypermarket shower gel in the bathroom - in sharp contrast with the expensive, quality finishings in the bathroom. One single toilet paper roll for 2 people, 2 nights. For this price, one would definitely expect more attention to such details.
The pool should be open already in the morning. On our last day we would have enjoyed a nice dive before breakfast but the owner only removed the cover at 11 AM.

The host is very friendly. If you don’t know where to eat, ask him and he has good recommodations.
The bed was to hard for me, but that’s something personal.

Our first trip to Portugal and we loved our four-night stay here. We were a group of 3 adults and selected the property for the swimming pool which is very well maintained and is a lovely relaxing space. We enjoyed Avanca town and were well positioned to visit the beach and do lots of sightseeing. There is plenty of parking space on site.
The breakfast is presented perfectly and was always more than ample and delicious. It was delivered to our apartment at a time we selected which was a really nice touch! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and each bedroom has a small fridge which was appreciated. It was all spotlessly clean.
The apartment is set within lovely grounds. It would have been nice to have a few chairs and a table on the grass, however, I am sure if we'd asked it would have been arranged for us. There isn't a kitchen area as such, however, there is a kettle and it would he been good to have some cups and glasses available during the day/evening - but again, I'm sure if we had asked, this would have been provided.

The host, Helder, has to be the best host in the world, always attentive to his guests, and even bringing treats to the kids, truly amazing. When we pull the curtains up, breakfast appears - very original and extremely convenient! The place is very quiet and the swimming pool is nice and warm. Both the city and the beach are easily reachable by car.
Although we had a veranda, a proper place to dry pool towels and wet swimsuits would have been helpful.

Fantastic place. Safe, quiet and beautiful with every comfort. Perfect to visit Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Costa Nova and so much more after a delicious breakfast. And above all, a perfect host, Senior Hélder.
