The living room set up and the hammocks.
Some staff like Martin and Paul were very nice and kind.
This is the first hostel in my life that you can't use the facilities after check out. Even if you checked out from the room on time, the new administrator "kindly" asked me to leave after 11 am when I was resting in the hammocks, even after a quite long stay. Most hostels are "come as a stranger leave as a friend" but this one felt like " leave as a stranger". The check out process left me a bad taste. They should revise their policy.
The internet doesn't really work for the laptop. So if you work remotely, the connection won't help.
Cooking items could be better. No storage for.luggage. House needs some investment on maintenance.

Buena ubicación, y buena onda la gente
Poca higiene

It is a nice hostel, swiming pool is cool, there is a backyard with hammock really cozy place. Clean bathrooms and rooms. Inside a 4bed dorm is a private bathroom.
Only one thing. The mattress! In my bed, mattress literally had a hole/dent in the middle of it. Really uncomfortable for sleep.

Location is right next to Playa Brava
Customer service LACKED. My boyfriend and I have been backpacking Central/ South America for the past 5 months now, and in that time we have stayed in some pretty poor hostels given our budget. But even in those aesthetically poor hostels, the staff has ALWAYS catered to the backpacking life and usually go above and beyond to make you comfortable. THIS hostel, however, did the exact opposite. We had arrived to the hostel at 11:30 am (check in was at 1) after a red eye flight and my boyfriend suffering from some food poisoning. We were not hoping to get into our room, but to at least sit down and rest in either their big outdoor courtyard, living room, pool deck, etc. The staff did not let us because it was “not check in time yet”. When my boyfriend wanted to simply use the restroom (once again, suffering from food poisoning), the staff said even that was unacceptable. They finally let him after asking nicely again and again, and we then settled on going to the beach until check in time.
Fast forward to checking out at 9:30 am, the staff surprisingly let us keep our backpacks there while we went to get breakfast. My boyfriend went back to grab our backpacks at 11:30 am and once AGAIN, my boyfriend was unable to use the restroom because it was 30 minutes past check out time. After simply ignoring her, he went into the restroom for literally 30 seconds to change, and the staff is crying while being consoled by another staff member. Like what?
Staff members are nice initially but they truly do not care at all for your well being- so do not fall for it.
As for the rooms, they are tiny, smell rotten, and the mattresses all have mold. Me and my boyfriend are both very low maintenance and have stayed in dirty hostels before. But with the rotten stench of these rooms combined with the awful customer service and concern for your well being, this hostel was by far the worst we have gone to in the past 5 months and 6 countries.

the pool was nice. location was very good and the staff was kind and they welcomed us in a really nice way!
it’s not value for money and it’s very very dirty. they don’t even change the sheets
0.5
The location. However, every other aspect of our stay was despicable.
How to even beguin to describe the appauling experience that we went throug during our stay. For starters the picutures of the hostel were missleading. They definitevely did live to the reality of the conditions presented.
The sanitary conditions were abosultetly appauling. They were a significant health hazard. The pillos has mold, the matresses were broken and had terrifying stench.
There were no towels, no bathroom amenities and the outside comunal area even had a dead bird that was fully decomposed, this, evidencing the mere lack of maintenance and cleaning services of this location.
This was undoutebly the worst experience that we ever had and we do not recommend that anyone that has a minimal sense of sense worth and dignity to stay here.

The location was great. Very close to the beach.
The place was not clean. I was in a room with 13 beds and it was very hot. There was a fan but that didn't help much.
The staff didn't speak English and didn't try.
Would not stay here again.

it’s very well located, close to brava beach.
would have been nice if the bathroom had a shower curtain, to make sure that the floor in the bathroom didn’t get completely wet.

Only there for one night
Tripe height bunk beds, 17 folk and only one bathroom, no security during the day, lockers next to open door, dirty, never seen such a big full toilet waste bin

not much at all
the place is not really clean and the 12 bed room dorm is a joke.
I can only recommend NOT to go there.
I’ve been travelling around the globe staying in heaps of hostels and this has been one of the worst experiences. luckily it was just one night.
The pictures are disguising the reality.

Location was good. The bed was super comfortable. One receptionist was great.
Bathrooms weren't cleaned nearly enough, The room smelled of humidity and didn't have good ventilation.

Hostel with kitchen, patio and a pool
The staff was friendly
It's very close to the beach.
The private room was ridiculously small. It was 30 euros for 2 bunks bed where I could barely extend my arms.
Music was ultra loud all day and most night but without people partying
The neighbourhood is very safe but very quiet and 30 min away from the center
3.5
Nice pool, terrace and back yard. Great kitchens. Plenty of bathrooms. Generally nice staff creating good atmosphere.
Rather than try and return my lost swim shorts the manager decided to wear them for the next two days. Fortunately some friends I made there retrieved them off them and returned them to me.
