Not sure how other rooms look like but the one we had was terrible.

We chose this place because of its location (close to our friends). We also liked the self-check in and checkout possibility.

The room was extremely small and smelled HORRIBLE - like cigarettes. And it was right next to the street so really loud as well. Don’t stay in room number 1! It is waaaay smaller than other rooms so the value you get for your money decreases big time!

A cama era muito confortável

O quarto era extremamente pequeno, era claustrofobico, mas imagens vê se imensos quartos aparentemente grandes mas isso não é a realidade. Os funcionários não falam inglês e isso dificulta muito a comunicação. O horário de check-in e check-out e ridículo, como assim o check-in em um hostel ou sei lá o que aquilo é as 18h??????? E o check out as 10h da manhã? Não faz sentido. A localização e mais ou menos, tendo em conta que não tem muitas opções de transportes, e têm de andar a pé sim. Fica a cerca de 20/30 min do centro, depende da hora. De 0-10 q minha experiência foi um 5.

Dobra lokalita. Vstřícný přístup.

Za danou ceno na noc me prekvapili hodne opotrebovane rucniky, nefunkcny televizor, respektive settop box, a zanesene trisky na virivce...

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers und das Bad erschienen relativ neu, jedoch war das Bad hochgradig verschimmelt. Das Zimmer hätte nicht vermietet werden dürfen!

Das Bad war hochgradig verschimmelt. Das Zimmer hätte nicht vermietet werden dürfen! Auf schriftliche Anfragen wurde, trotz des Versprechens man würde sich bezüglich eines Entgegenkommens bei mir zurück melden, nicht reagiert. Am Telefon wurde sich dann nicht bemüht Englisch oder Deutsch zu sprechen, sondern aufgelegt.

Staff willing to relocate us to a room that wasn't stinky.

Whole place smells of cigarettes and there was a strong cigarette smell in the first room we got (gave us both a headache very quickly), that room also had broken windows with blinds that could not be opened, so it was permanently dim. We asked reception if they could give us a different room, they moved us to an identical room right above. That one had functional windows and wasn't stinky, which was nice. The room was quite cramped with the living area just about fitting a double bed, some wardrobes and a tiny useless desk. Two glasses were provided, with nothing to put in them. No tea, no kettle. We paid extra for a "spa bath" which turned out to just be a bathtub with some water jets. We filled the tub and turned the jets on, from which a good amount of filth and even some dead insects immediately dislodged. We felt so disgusted we never used the jets thoughout our stay. As a cherry on top, the towels room service got us for our second day were stained, and the already half-empty hand soap bottle that was in our bathroom was very obviously watered down. There was also something that looked like a thermostat on the wall, but was, as far as we could tell, just for show. Would have been useful for the hot evenings. This wasn't even the cheapest room, so I struggle to imagine what the cheapest one actually looks like. For the aforementioned reasons we ended up spending very little time in our room, only coming back in the evening to sleep. Waste of money. Avoid especially if you can't stand cigarette smell, as you can never truly escape it.

Located off the city center, but with public transport nearby. Near recreational areas. Free Wi-Fi ok when it works. Nice garden an patio. Clean room/bathroom.

Room on the street side is a little bit noisy. Wi-Fi LAN side went down from time to time and internet access was down for a whole evening + night + morning. Building and room access card was disabled during the middle of the stay (quickly re-enabled by helpful staff, I was lucky that staff was present at that time, because the pension is mostly unattended).

Lovely hotel, perfect location if you have a car

Really a great place to stay. Not so close to the city center that you could walk or travel there easily, but perfect if you have a car. It's also close to the Brno Zoo and the dam where you can go swimming. The room is amazing, the star lights over the hot tub make for a great effect and the bed is comfy. Really a beautiful room. Breakfast was simple, but good. Don't expect anything too crazy, but there is juice and yogurt and meat and bread and even some sausages.

We didn't like the check-in time. Check-in was at 6 p.m., which is pretty late and we would have had to pay more if we wanted an earlier check-in time. And there was nobody there when we were trying to check in, so we had to call the number on the door and nobody answered. We called again and luckily they answered and gave us the number to get in. If they hadn't answered the call, however, or took a while to call us back, we would have been forced to just stand there on the street not knowing what to do, but luckily that didn't happen.
