Great stay in easy reach of harbour

Location excellent and within easy reach of town and harbour. Great breakfast with very friendly, helpful hosts. Comfortable bed. Very clean.

Excellent hosts, excellent value for money and convenient location

Our 5oom was spotlessly clean with a large very comfortable bed. Soft white towels changed every other day. We.had the excellent Full English breakfast each day - would recommend. Jackie and Colin were excellent hosts

The ensuite bathroom was spotlessly clean but lacked shelf space to put our own toiletry bits and pieces. Could have done with hooks on the back of the door to hang clothing on

Grandchildren visit

Great Hosts, very attentive and helpful, great breakfast, the food was excellent. The room was very clean, bed was a little soft, but that's personal choice.

Lovely place to stay at walking distance from the centre , the harbour and nice restaurants

The Melville is a lovely place to stay. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. We could choose our breakfast each night before and it was absolutely excellent. Great welcoming hosts!

the Melville is situated on the main road and with the windows open, it was quite noisy because of the traffic

Enjoyable stay, lovely kind hosts who couldnt do enough for us.

Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of foods. Ideal breakfast booking form idea. Our room had everything we needed, Bathroom was a little awkward due building design, but all functional and super clean.

Low ceilings in the loo area ... caused problems if you forgot sloping ceiling.

we would definitely stay again - short walk to the harbour & shops - owners on hand & so helpfull even messaged

absolutely loved our stay the house is both traditional & modern extremely clean & the room was perfect. we were greeted by the best owners. showed to our room & given all the info we could need. enjoyed the best food very healthy & plenty of it Thank you both we will definitely be back x

A wonderfully warm welcome by Jackie on arrival, room excellent, bed so comfortable , breakfast also excellent, the friendliness and service were second to none , both Colin and Jackie were wonderful hosts. Superb location few minutes walk to harbor on the flat. Would highly recommend

A lovely 4 night stay at The Melville

What can I say? Such a lovely B&B. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was great with a good selection of everything. Jackie and Colin went over and above to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we need. They were extremely fantastic hosts, very attentive, great service and lovely people. For those who have concerns about Covid, you can be assured that every guidance is followed to the letter and carefully thought out processes are in place. After everything such businesses have been through in the last 18 months or so I would urge anyone wanting to visit Brixham to stay at The Melvillle and support such a lovely family run business. All in all Colin and Jackie made our first trip away for so long very welcoming and comfortable. Would highly recommend and give 5 starts. Thank you so much Jackie and Colin for a great stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Lovely guest house a 10 minute walk out of the middle of Brixham

Jackie and Colin are a delightful couple who made us feel very welcome. The Melville is a short walk out of the middle of town and we were delighted to find a wee parking space outside the front! Breakfast was delicious and our room was big enough to include a couple of armchairs and extremely comfortable and clean. Thank you for making us so welcome!

Great stay at Melville Guesthouse in Brixham.

Very welcoming hosts- friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Very omfortable bed. Extremely good service at breakfast. Lovely breakfast- great choices. Everything we needed was in the room.

Perfect place for a perfect stay.

Full English breakfast was excellent and there were other options available, we booked four rooms and all were beautifully clean, the facilities in the rooms were spot on. The proprietors Jackie and Colin were very friendly and helpful.
