Tolle Unterkunft und Abenteuer Safari Erlebnis

Wir wurden direkt von den Besitzern mit Keksen und einem Begrüßungsdrink sehr herzlich empfangen. Es wurde auch direkt ein früherer Check-In ermöglicht. Abends wurden wir sehr lecker bekocht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Unterkunft gemütlich. Der Gastgeber bietet zudem eine Safari an, die wir sehr empfehlen können. Für 65$ pro Person geht es hier mit dem Gastgeber und einem Fahrer in dem hauseigenen Safari Jeep für 5 Stunden auf Safari in den Udawalawe Nationalpark. Die Safari findet auch für nur 2 Personen statt. Auch ein Frühstück an einem idyllischen Spot im Park und der Parkeintritt sind hier bereits inkludiert. Die Safari war eines der bisherigen Highlights unseres Trips. Wir können sie wärmstens empfehlen. Der Transport von Udawalawa nach Ella wurde auch für uns organisiert. Als der Fahrer gesundheitsbedingt leider kurzfristig ausfiel, hat der Besitzer uns sogar persönlich nach Ella gefahren. Das haben wir ihn sehr hoch angerechnet!

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!!!!!!!

There was nothing I did not like about this property. Everything was just perfect. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a such a beautiful bathroom [the floor was filled with stones]. The accommodation itself was so unique, clean and comfortable with really good A/C. It also had a mini fridge and was stocked with drinks and beer. It’s in a good location to the town and a bus stop right outside. The service of the hosts exceeded all expectations. I have never met such accommodating and attentive hosts, they brought us little homemade organic snacks when we came back from a long walk and always made sure we had everything we needed. They were so helpful with recommendations around the local area and sorting onward travel. I also loved the meals at this property, we shared them with all the other guests [there are three huts] and it was a nice opportunity to get to know them as well as the host himself, who also sat with us. His wife prepared the most amazing Sri Lankan curry, one of the best we have had! The breakfast was also very generous, different things each morning. We were very full after!! We also had different types of juice and they also offered coffee, which we have found not a lot of places offer this. Everything was just perfect, I could not recommend this place more. The effort and warm nature of this accommodation/ family is just outstanding. 10000/10!!!!!!

Wir können jedem nur empfehlen, genau diese Unterkunft zu besuchen, und damit direkt die Udawalawe Safari zu verbinden.

Alles. Vom liebevoll gestalteten Haus bis hin zum selbst zu bereiteten köstlichem Abendessen und der angebotenen Safari zum Udawalawe. Alles war perfekt.

Un sitio para recordar

El safari increíble, fuimos solos y el guía controlaba de todos las aves y animales del parque, nos encantó El alojamiento era perfecto, un remanso de paz, con cervezas bien frías para disfrutar en el porche de la habitación mientras oías a los animales de la zona. Cenamos allí y compartimos mesa con un grupo que se alojaba allí (solo hay dos cabañas más) y fui muy agradable, y la cena perfecta. No se puede pedir más! Encima barato!!

Beautiful little cottage, very clean and extremly nice a d friendly owner! They make sure to give you the best experience, they even do their own safari tour. The breakfast and dinner is delicious! And for a very good price. Can 100% recommend!

Great experience !

We had an own small bungalow, with a very traditional feeling and the bathroom is awesome with pebbles on the ground. We had AC, which was good. We could not have dinner there because we forgot to inform the host in advance but we were told the food was really good. The host was extremely nice and organized a great safari tour for us, in which we were not stuck with 20 other jeeps. For the price, definitely a great experience !

Not anybody’s fault but the dogs made a lot of noise at night.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Der Host ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die von ihm geführte Safaritour ist definitiv ein Highlight und sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.

What else can anyone really ask for?

Kind, friendly host. Very chatty and always keen to share experiences. Real authentic experience. Amazing AC in the rooms, nice quiet night sleep. Breakfasts and dinners were also very tasty. And on top of all that, we had a fun day out on the safari! 10/10 would recommend.

Très belle maison et top safari !

Le propriétaire était vraiment aux petits soins pour nous. Il a le sens de l'accueil et de l'écoute. Le lieu est magnifique et reposant. Attendez vous à voir de petits écureuils courir dans les arbres du jardin ! Le propriétaire organise également des safaris. Il est passionné et a une très belle éthique. Nous avons vécu une expérience formidable !

Gefühlt wie zuhause :) Safari super!

Der Aufenthalt bei Upul war fantastisch. Ich habe selten so einen guten Gastgeber erlebt. Von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde haben wir uns wie zuhause gefühlt :) Die Safari im Udawalawe, welche von der Unterkunft angeboten wird, war ebenso super! Upul hat uns schliesslich auch ein Taxi für die Weiterreise organisiert und uns Tipps gegeben. Ich kann das Private Organic House inkl. Safari wärmstens empfehlen!

Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen!

- Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und gemütlich - der Gastgeber ist unfassbar nett und aufmerksam - ein Abendessen in der Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen, es war das beste Essen was wir bisher hatten - Upul hatte uns auch eine Safari organisiert (die super war!!) und uns Tipps gegeben was man in Udawalawe alles machen kann Würden sofort wieder kommen :-)

Good spot with a Safari master

Super friendly Owner. The property is good and well located. We had a long safari with him and he knows a lot about it. It's really worthy to stay here because the Owner is a safari master and really wanted us to have the best of the experiences.

The property should have some glass on the windows to prevent some bugs and mosquitos to get inside.

Perfect stay and safari

Unique property near Udawalawe national park. We loved our stay there. Rooms were clean, A/C was working perfectly, host was very nice and helpful and organised our safari which was amazing! The family cooked the dinner for us one evening and it was delicious. Highly recommend staying here and booking safari with them - you will see a lot of elephants!

Sehr empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt mit einem tollen Gastgeber !

während unseres Aufenthalts in Upul's Organic House hatten wir eine angenehme Erfahrung. Upul erwies sich als aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der sich darum bemühte, unseren Aufenthalt zu bereichern. Ein Höhepunkt war das traditionelle srilankische Abendessen, das er großzügigerweise für uns zubereitete. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und dennoch gut erreichbar für Geldautomaten und Supermärkte. Upul gab uns zudem nützliche Tipps für lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie das Beobachten von Flughunden und Affen an einer nahegelegenen Brücke. Des Weiteren buchten wir bei ihm eine private Safari, die uns abseits der üblichen Touristenpfade führte und uns die Möglichkeit bot, Elefanten, Vögel und andere Tiere im Naturreservat zu beobachten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war dabei sehr zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt können wir Upul als guten Gastgeber empfehlen.

Började bra med fint välkomnande med var sin passionsfruktdrink. Trevlig ägare och väldigt jordnära och fräscht boende. Smidigt även med safarituren då den kördes av samma familjeföretag.

Perfect host & safari

We had a wonderful stay at Private Organic House. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious dinner and on the next day we also did the safari with our host. It was incredible, one of the best experiences in my life. We saw many elephants :) I would recommend to also take the safari tour with Private Organic House!

Tolle Unterkunft, fantastisches Abendessen und die beste Safari!

10/10! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Organic House sehr genossen! Die Hütten sind liebevoll errichtet und der Gastgeber unfassbar herzlich. Wenn man möchte, serviert die Familie ein absolut fantastisches Abendessen - große Empfehlung!! Auch die Safari im Nationalpark haben wir direkt in der Unterkunft gebucht und hatten den besten Guide, den man sich nur wünschen kann!! Ganz ganz großer Tipp also hierher zu kommen!

A little gem in Udawalawe

I loved staying here. First of all, Paul is such a great host. He is welcoming, caring and friendly. Secondly, the cabanas are simply wonderful. You feel one thing with nature, which is exactly the purpose of visiting Udawalawe and its national park. Last but not least, breakfast is delicious! Overall, I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Udawalawe!

We had a wonderful stay at private organic house. The bungalow was really nice, clean and spacious and had a cool bathroom. Our host was helpful in every way and also organized a safari that we can recommend. He also helped us with our travel to arugam bay. We would always come back again!

Exceptional

The standalone chalets are beautiful, spacious and clean. It was one of the best stays, if not the best, in Sri Lanka. Super comfy beds, stylish bathroom and a wonderful feeling of being close to nature. We ate dinner all three nights, the food was authentic, tasty Sri Lankan food. The host, Upal, is phenomenal. My partner got very sick (nothing to do with the property) and he went above and beyond to help out. He also is just wonderful company! We also did a Safari and really enjoyed it. It was beautiful and our guide was knowledgeable and spoke great English. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Incredible safari

The host (Upul) is incredible! He organised for us a beautiful safari in Udawalawe National Park, he took all the time we needed to appreciate the animals and he never told us that we had to speed up. He has an incredible knowledge of the animals that he shared and an amazing eye to spot the animals.

This place is a real gem. The accommodation was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The safari tour exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend as a safari guide.... very experienced and knowledgeable. I also enjoyed my meals during my stay here.

We had a great stay. The cottages are nice and comfortable. Upul was a great host, we had a nice conversation in the evening at the very good dinner together. We can also recommend to book the safari with him. It's not the cheapest safari you can book, but the money you spend it's 100% worth it as he speaks fluent English and explains a lot about the wildlife in the national park and its inhabitants . He was a great Tour Guide at the safari. We would love to come back another time.
