Wonderful stay in a beautiful Chateau with a warm and welcome host
A warm welcome awaits at Chateau D'Arry with huge rooms that have been beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. Great linen and immaculately clean. Our host was so lovely to speak with and keen to help in any way he could. Breakfast was beautifully presented with local produce and home made preserves. A Michelin starred dinner recommendation for our anniversary celebration made it even better - Thank you Chateau D'Arry. In a great location en-route to/from Calais.
We could not obtain Wifi or a good phone reception although it was not hugely important, it may prove irritating for some.

Lovely stay in an historic house with accommodating host and good breakfast.
Lovely overnight stay here - Leopold was very friendly: filling us in on the fascinating history of the house, and assisting me with my french! He was also accommodating of our desire to eat the food we had brought with us in the garden after our long drive. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and very good breakfast - highly recommend.

Superb
It was a beautiful old Chateau. Lovely grounds to stroll around with trees and a river
Creaky doors but it is a 18th century Chateau so what could we expect

The perfect mini break in the most glorious setting.
We loved our stay at the Chateau d’Arry Our room was enormous and had the most glorious view, and the bed was very comfortable. The host was welcoming and happy to recommend nearby places to visit and eat. Breakfast was a lovely selection of local produce, all served on gorgeous china.
We had lovely weather during our stay and it would’ve been great to be able to sit outside and enjoy it, but there’s no terrace / outside seating at the Chateau.

Best nights sleep in tranquil surroundings.
My wife and I chose Chateaux D'Arry for a stop over on a drive from the UK to Spain. The accommodation is situated in an old châteaux with plenty of traditional features; oak panelling, oak staircases, high panelled ceilings, artwork etc. The grounds surrounding the property are beautiful and the aspect from the dining room is wonderful. The area is very peaceful, with the chateaux being well set back from the local road. Both my wife and I enjoyed the best nights sleep that we had had for some time. Bath robes and slippers are provided as are the usual amenities; shower gel, shampoo etc. Breakfast consisted of local sourced and home made products; ham, cheese, fruit spreads and fresh bread and pastries, plus boiled eggs. It was well presented and sufficient for our needs. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed us to our accommodation. He attempted to engage in conversation on our arrival and during breakfast, but our French is very limited as was his English. He did also recommend some local restaurants.
The greeting was a little strange in that we weren't certain that we had actually arrived at the correct place. A simple "Bienvenue au Château D'Arry" or similar rather then peering around the door and waiting for us to say something would have proved a little more reassuring. Notifying us that we could make use of the lounge to sit in in the evening would have been appreciated. We still are not sure whether or not this is permitted. Having some kind of "honesty" drinks tray or miniatures available in the lounge would also have been a nice touch. We had plenty of wine with us, but nothing to drink it out of.
