Kind & helpful staff, great variety for breakfast, enjoyable pool

Location was 20 mins from tram, but very nice walk

Great location, only a few steps from the beach, on a quiet place.
Service at the restaurant (dinner) was a bit slow.

The parking is large, breakfast : lots of choices, orange juice was artificial, ..., large comfortable room. Terras with view on the garden and pool.
Coldness of some of the staff members, some are friendly others don't even look at you when you ask a question.
Distance to the beach is more than 10 minute walk.

The room was very simple but nice, the breakfast was *excellent*, pool was clean, very quite and calm environment, easy to get to with public transport.
The woman at the reception was very very rude, which was not a great start of our stay

Swimmingpool outside
No cabin to change by the pool

Difficult to find at first, but very quiet, clean and with a good breakfast...

The staff and the management's kind and proactive attitude.
The very comfortable room and the excellent breakfast.
Options for in-house lunch and dinner could be increased and, if economically sustainable, offer also fresh food.
Sinks in the bedrooms' bathrooms are beautiful and good for the able-bodied, but with an inconvenient design and placed too high for a wheelchair user.
I'm just trying to be picky though. The hotel and the related service are great beyond doubt.

in general good experience
The fact that you have to pay 15€ to park your car, I think it’s insanely expensive.

Zwembad, terrass, tuin, airco
Loud vacuum cleaning and floor mopping in eating area during lunch hour. Furniture repair on terrace - with loud drilling -when many were having breakfast there.
Carpet in corridor not well cleaned.
Food quantity good, but taste not very good

Staff helpful, easy to rent bikes and great biking area uit, quiet location, nice pool, good value for the money
Pretty far from the beach - the closest beach is 10 mins but there is nothing there (great for dogs) and from restaurants, not a lot to do.

look & feel, style of the hotel was okey/good. Location was okey, but would not be ideal for all kinds of transportion options.
Hotel didnt do anything with what has been booked via booking.com, booked a 2 single bed room, but initially got a double bed. Manager of the hotel did not care at all about customer request or satisfation. In the end a room turned out to be availeble. It just came down to the (un)willingness of serving a customer right. Next to that there was a poor maintenance of the hotel, lots of dust everywhere, mold, unclean shower floor, and damages, damages in the whole room , mostly related to materials not properly installed and cracked or so afer time. Shower tap was damaged and therefor not properly ussable. The beds where very small, like 80cm width, length was very small too. Just to make sure everything would be fitting in the small room. There was roomwise no difference between a normal room and a premium room, other than manly having a safe, a small coffeemachine and a fridge. Sleeping on the beds was horrible and a lot of back pain occurt imidiatelly the very morning. The room has only 2 electric plugs, placed very inconvinient, does not meet todays ussage of electric devices. The building is very noisy, you hear a lot of noise in the (early) morning especially when cleaning of the rooms are in progress. Limited parking space and an inconvinient lay out. It is not possible to secure the room from the inside, when inside. The temprature in the room is hot and the airconditioning system is full of dust, when switching on you feel an increasment of the dust particuls. I found it unbelieveble that booking.com works with a hotel of such a lowlevel quality. I have been staying in many hotels and not seen a lack of interest, customer value, and focus on money making before. Many hotels are in the area availeble, you better book an different hotel arround.

Great location, walkable distance from the beach. A dune forest nearby, perfect for families with kids for walks.
Clean premises, friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. Alternative activities in the hotel (heated swimming pool, billiard table, football field, petangue,...). Very easy to park a car.
The room we had was practical but small. This is not a hotel to spend too much time in a room, plan to be outside.

great location especially for travellers with dogs, and the staff very friendly and helpful.
the room was a bit small

Loved the location in a quiet place close to the beach and behind the forest. Passed through the forest each time we went to the seaside or the city.
Stayed for 3 nights, o cleaning or fresh towels during this time. Empty shower gel container upon arrival. Was not nice to realize this whole taking a shower. No water boiler in the room to make a thee or coffee. Got one at the reception upon request.
4.0
The fact that it was generally calm
It’s not at walking distance from the restaurants & shops on the beach
