Roma Motel, close to CBD with friendly staff and clean, tidy accommodation

The motel was clean, tidy, freindly staff, good laundry, good breakfast. Would stay there again

Friendly staff

It has been a hassle free trip, made comfortable by the new Aircon system . On a hot day, it certainly was the star. In reception we had Jaz, very relaxed, polite and accommodating. Sufficient parking space, happy to relax in the pool.

I know the facility is outdated, but I was happy to overlook that. Can't complain too much, really cheap accommodation.

Good stopover for a road trip.

Check-in was very easy. Loved having covered parking to keep the car cool, and the water and squeegee for the windscreen was a nice touch.

Bathroom was a bit cramped.

A clean, comfortable stopover in a convenient location.

Although located on the highway, the room itself was at the back of the property so noise was not an issue. We were given a small bottle of fresh milk on arrival and there was a bucket and squeegee at the front door to clean the car windscreen. The facilities were dated but all kept fresh and clean. The bed was comfortable . The bathroom was a little cramped but still satisfactory. A swim in the pool topped the day off perfectly.

The air conditioner was a bit on the ancient side and although it kept the room at a comfortable temperature, it was very noisy and disturbed our sleep.

The pool was refreshing although very old and worn looking with a small amount of flower litter on top. The location was convenient and easy to find. The beds were perfect amount of firmness. The price was reasonable.

Although I booked a family room with 2 bunks and a queen bed, I was told I was upgraded to a room with 2 double beds, meaning my 3 children and I all had to share beds. I did try to push for the family room I booked but the people staying previously had extended their stay and had that room. I was disappointed with this.

Nice enough after a long day on the road.

Overall it was alright for an overnight stay.

Room was tidy and had a grassed area for kids to play a bit of soccer. Short walk to attractions and town.

Room was outdated but was budget friendly. We didn’t realise how noisy it would be on the main road with all the road trains. Also no air con in the room so was a bit cold being July.

A budget motel that suits your needs if you are looking for somewhere to sleep.

Location was great for our purposes. Check in was easy and quick. Room was made up everyday. Hotel is in need of renovation to increase the overall score. Small touches were nice like the window squeegies for the car windscreen however the rubber was stiff and broken so not useable. Outdoor area, laundry facilities were greatly appreciated.

Small things could be fixed eg replacing window squeegies so they could actually be used. Booking as for 4 people but limited crockery in the room to use for that many people.

Very disappointing place...old and tired..photos were misleading to be honest...checkout time in compendium did not agree with booking.com checkout time...very noisy...could hear people next door...not worth what I had to pay.
