The little house is perfectly situated on the property, surrounded by beautiful gardens and views, and felt very private from the main house. It has everything you need for a short stay and was very comfortable. Owen was a great host - very friendly and accommodating of us and our dog. We (and our dog!) loved our weekend here and would highly recommend.
Nothing - couldn’t fault it!

No one was close to us beautifully situated beautiful views
The only thing was the wood fire would not burn over night

Beautiful property overlooking a wonderful view. Owen was a thoughtful host and made sure we had everything we needed. A very cosy and well equipped place that was exactly what we needed. Also very close to the mai centre of Healesville.
Nothing! It was a great place to stay

The little house on the hill was great, the views were spectacular. Was great to be a bit and of town just to go back relax and look at those views. Owen the owner come to greet us couldn't do enough for us.
I could not fault this property at all. It was great.

Everything about this property is phenomenal. The epitome of serene and tranquil, the garden and cottage are both so calming and beautiful. Owen was so lovely and kind and the dogs got along very well with ours. The view and surroundings were perfect, and such a short drive to many wineries and Healesville. The facilities were incredible, with everything we needed provided.
I can’t recommend this place enough - we will definitely be coming back.
Nothing - it was perfect.

Friendly people and lovely accommodation

The property itself was stunning - green rolling hilss and the most magnificent garden and sunset.
Very thoughtful hosts who even gave us a bowl and towel for the dogs.
nothing bad really. I do recomend sharpening the knives and providing a couple of medium sized bowls, and a good vegie peeler. Also, wouldve been good to have a broom. But really, everything was pretty fantastic.

It is a beautiful cottage, loved the fire place looking out in the morning and seeing the scenery and the animals. It was clean and peaceful. Owen made our stay comfortable bringing firewood every day.
Nothing, ir was perfect..

Perfect spot away in a beautiful rural setting. Faced west for sunset.
Fireplace, firepit, bbq on deck, roses and cows.
We absolutely didn't care, but a few reviews mentioned a dog. Murphy is a friendly pup who will come for a quick hello.
A pet resort is close by and you can hear barking. Again we didn't care at all, but some might.
Dirt road to property and heavy rain can cause ruts. If the Mustang made it up, most cars should.

The setting was magical, with the beautiful garden on the doorstep and a great firepit too! Sitting out there at sunset with the firelit is just amazing!
I would have preferred a small oven or cooking top to make some food. A microwave meal is not really my cup of tea :)

Private gardens and views are gorgeous. The little house had everything one would need, and nothing superfluous. Hosts desceet and accommodating. Truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

We loved so much The Little House on The Hill.
The house was warm, clean, lots of natural light, well equipped pantry, a barbeque.
And the outdoor its a piece of heaven . Beautiful garden, amazing mountains view.
Big thank you to Owen the owner who was always very helpful.
This place will always have a special place in our hearts. Though a little far from WA where we live hope one day will visit again.

It is exactly as stated ' a little house on a hill'. Comfy, very clean. Lovely gardens and friendly owners. Suit one or two for a quiet weekend around the hills well.

Everything, the little house was beautifully decorating in peaceful tones. It smelt divine with a bunch of freshly cut roses placed inside for us (they came from their beautiful garden). The birdsong outside all day was fabulous! Owen met us and was very welcoming, and checked in on us once, part way through our stay to ensure we didn't need anything. It had a well lit bathroom for getting ready for wedding we were attending which was handy. A nice little verandah and a garden table and chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Grace our dog loved it too Couldn't fault a thing!!
Nothing I can think of

Perfect hideaway but still close enough to town. We enjoyed our time spent here. Owen was a good host and came up to greet us with the dogs. Our 4mo Labrador pup loved her stay also.
Great views and lovely gardens. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend, with or without the doggo.
The bed was a little too firm for us, but other than that, no complaints.

This little house is divine. It is very comfortable, clean and cosy. A beautiful location with magnificent gardens.. Such a relaxing, peaceful little place. will definitely be going back.. the hosts were fantastic and answered all questions promptly. we were able to take our fur babies, Daisy and Mabel (Italian greyhounds) who just love all the smells and especially the cows 🥰
that we couldn’t stay longer due to work commitments..

Really friendly owners, very welcoming. Ignore comments about their dog we had no issues at all and we have two big dogs that can be a handful. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back again
