Hospitality of the all team. Nice balcony. Very helpful recommendation about restaurant (the best one across the street). And beautiful home plants:) And home tenderness and care. And of course the exciting story of the region told by David during transfer

Nice stay, great weather, fun on the sailing boat

The location was good, not far away from both the centre and the marina. We decided to go to Benagil caves by sailing boat which is an unforgettable experience. A lot of cosmetics available in the bathroom, very nice cosmetic set in the room. Balcony where one can have a drink or breakfast.

Some people were noisy at 6 in the morning in the common kitchen which is not separated from the rooms.

The place was so peaceful and relaxing. We were welcomed earlier than our check-in time by David and he was very helpful. He even assisted us with carrying our luggage. The room was nicely decorated and clean and there was a bottle of water that was replaced anytime you want, there was tea, coffee, cookies... Overall it was a lovely stay.

The only thing to think about when booking this place is, even though David helped us with one of our suitcases, that the rooms are up two sets of stairs so they're not very accessible but it wasn't a big problem for us.

Relaxing time in Portimao

Villa Prana is the perfect location to start exploring the Algarve. The staff is helpful and kind. The room comfortable and clean. They also offer a range of Ayurvedic products samples for their guests.

Comfy and revitalising city stay

Lovely staff and a great yoga studio on the ground floor, with lots of interesting trinkets available for purchase in the reception area. The room was a great size, with a comfy bed and bathroom and shower very nice too. Wi-fi was good and the cafe opposite does the best latte's and croissants I've found in the Algarve! Felt great after morning yoga with Carlos and met some lovely people there too :)

I chose this place to relax my souls and I was not mistaken, a very pleasant and easy atmosphere, from getting to know the staff and settling in to the very accommodation, I first tried yoga classes with such a wonderful teacher like Carlos, yoga classes help you find peace and ease all over your body and your head, I will definitely come back here

I highly recommend Villa Prana Guesthouse

Villa Prana was a great place to stay. It was peaceful, clean and great value for money. They offer yoga and Pilates, as well as massages. I highly recommend booking this. Villa Prana is cosy and welcoming. Lovely, attentive hosts. Location is close to town centre and good restaurants. Slightly far from the beach but short taxi ride away. Comfortable and spacious room.

Shared toilets - but they were kept clean throughout. Good amenities although this depends on who else in the guest house is using them.

The property was beautiful and definitely gave that local vibe! Both David and his wife were very attentive and gave great advice to us for our stay! if I’m ever back in Portimão I will definitely be booking here again!

Villa Prana stands out as the best accommodation of my entire month long motorcycle trip through Spain and Portugal. Hosts David and Sylvia made the difference, making me feel at home and trying to help in every way possible. I’d like to come back.

I highly recommend this place. I already know that I will be back!

Lovely, very clean and comfortable guesthouse with beautiful ambience in a great location. The owners - Silvia and David - were very welcoming and generous with their hospitability and always made sure my stay was up to my satisfaction. To my great surprise I have been offered a few home cooked meals during my stay - vegan & so yummy! It felt like being at home :) The yoga & Pilates studio is gorgeous. I have attended a few classes - they were of a very high quality and also taught in English. It was my first time having an ayurvedic massage and it won't be the last one. I highly recommend this place. For me it was a self-organised retreat trip. I already know that I will be back! Oh, and I surely miss Togi The Cat. Very friendly & cuddly pet.

Probably best stay in my 2 weeks in Portugal

The villa and their hosts are simply amazing!! I really loved the vibe there. It has just a few rooms (mine had a balcony) and the bathroom is clean. Room was to the streets but had shutters. The yoga room is very nice and equipped with everything you need. There is also a small shop with cool organic and sustainable products. Really loved it! There is also a dog and a cat, just fyi.

Matches expectations

Overall, except for the full kitchen, it's what you would expect from a guest house. It has a comfortable bed, a good supermarket nearby, and the area feels safe. + The place is impeccably clean. + You can't beat the location, it's walking distance from everything. Or 2-4 euros taxi drive. + The hosts were extremely nice and friendly, making sure I feel welcome. + The Double Room I booked was bigger than I expected, I could move in the garden table and a chair from the balcony to work inside the room.

- When booking, I didn't understand there are a cat and a dog in the house. I ended up always eating in my room because the cat would come and jump on the table when I eat. Maybe people who have more experience with cats would be OK with it, and could just throw the cat down, not me. - It was winter so it was quite cold in the bathroom. - There are not many cooking facilities: a microwave, a steam cooker, and a kettle. - I heard the neighbors when they checked in, through the walls. - You need to throw toilet paper in the trash bin nearby.

Perfect for what it is.

Fantastic spot for a quick stay, the host's we're so kind, thoughtful & helpful. It's exactly what it says, basic accommodation for a great price, well located.

Parking is across the road for building, public parking, no charge & safe, just not what I expected. No toiletries provided, so make sure to bring some travel shampoo & shower gel or else it's off shopping for it.
