We wer4e met at the airport by Ian and was then taken on a tour of the town as he pointed out the restaurants, bars, shopping and clubs. Ian was fantastic and guided us to our accommodation as I followed behind him in the supplied car. My Mum and I were thrilled with the house and it was immaculate in every way. The house is beautifully decorated and renovated with a beautiful outdoor area and a fantastic view from the dining/ kitchen! We had wildlife surrounding us and it was just delightful. I highly recommend to anyone to book Auwas Holiday Home.
If I had to pick anything it was a bit of a tricky driveway at first but I mastered it very quickly. We also wondered what the sound was when we were using the water and found that it was the pump!!

Nice location.
Property needs some love & maintenance to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

Second time staying here we loved it so much. Heaps of space, the house is on acreage so it’s very private. Centrally located on the island- nothing is more than a 15min drive in any direction! Love the new flooring throughout and I’m looking forward to seeing the new extension when it’s done hopefully before my next Norfolk adventure. Highly recommend for value too.

it’s centrally located and on a very quiet road. The property is average so it’s very private and has a huge outdoor entertaining area and the gardens are so lush it feels a little bit like Indonesia
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this property

We felt that it was quite well protected when we got the cyclone warning. Not in an exposed position
We had nothing to complain about

Loved the open and airy feel to the property and the many little thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome.
The bed in room nearest driveway needs some repair, the frame is wobbly. Needs a bread knife and washing up brush. No brush to clean the BBQ, we had to leave it used (sorry). Used the clothes washing facilities a few times.

Breakfast not applicable as self catering. The location was perfect as it was very private, quiet, had lovely views and the house was perfectly appointed. The house was clean, furnished well and spacious with everything provided for.
Only a minor issue was the remote on the car stopped working and we were told to not bother locking the car as no one does on Norfolk Island, We didn't like the fact that we then had no choice about leaving the car unlocked. The internet stopped working which made contact with home impossible and our contact person on Norfolk Island was unhelpful and we had to independently seek assistance to solve this issue.

We loved Auwas (Our) Island Holiday Home. There is so much room for a family, with outdoor undercover spaces and plenty of living space inside. There truly is everything you need from cooking facilities and utensils, crockery, serving dishes and cutlery to fine glassware. Extra blankets and towels in the linen press. Two toilets, but only one bathroom - a very functional and modern bathroom with stacks of room and hot water. Coffee machine and even avocados falling onto the balconies. Host provided a phone (not smartphone) for our use. Wifi reasonable. Large, peaceful garden. Can even see Phillip Island from the dining room. And a Buddha by the ornamental pool to finish it all off. GO! You'll love it!

The Location was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed many meals at both the dining table and table on the patio, watching the sunset and sunrise over the valley. The views of Phillip Island were beautiful. The house was homey, and provided plenty of space to relax, and also make use of the kitchen. We loved finding a ripe avocado or two! We also hired a car via the property, and it was a fantastic little hatchback. We were met at the Airport upon arrival, and escorted up to the property where we got a brief tour. The property manager was easily accessible via the provided mobile phone. Great little inclusions such as beach towels in the cupboard, and even a board game stash
There had been rain lately which meant the garden had grown beautifully, so the grass was a bit long which hampered fuller exploration of the property but not a major issue. There also seemed to be NBN but we were advised this was not working, but we did not expect internet access beyond the hotspot so we did not mind.

Due to ? No bookings for 6 months because of Covid the gardens had become a little overgrown.
Also some of the floorboards were in need of repair.

Nothing, it was perfect
