3 min walk to the beach, the hosts are wonderful, rooms are comfortable, and the showers were lovely. There is a relaxing common area at the back under shelter with hammocks to escape the midday heat and a mini supermarket 2 doors down.

Very quiet, comfortable hostel conveniently located on the main road along Playa Farallon.
The dorm room was clean and the the bed was comfortable. I particularly like the fact that the dorm room only had 3 beds in it - nice privacy.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped - even had a toaster to brown and heat bread.
Dining tables are located in the back yard which
also had 3 hammocks.
The pet cat is very affectionate and friendly.
A mini market is 3 doors away.
No pool or free breakfast. The mini market sold eggs and other breakfast foods, so the lack of free breakfast was not that important.

Excellent location (steps from the beach), grocery store next door and some restaurants nearby. Very clean, nice kitchen. Hot water in showers. Hosts were friendly & helpful.
Not major at all, but could use a mirror in the room & microwave in kitchen. But no complaints at all!

i'm going to be super honest with you people , if your thinking to go somewhere just to sleep and dont do anything else , cause you want to be near the beach and just sleep somewhere , then maybe this your spot , other wise , i really dont recomment this place for anyone else , and i mean it for real.
the place is extremely boring , thats why im telling you , its just for sleeping , the rooms dont have tv , the wifi of the place is really bad , also the staff looks like they dont even want to be there , but i gotta say that the rooms have a very good , i would say excelent a/c unit.
also the administration of the place changed , the woman you have read about in others travelers opinion , LARISSA IS NOT WORKING THERE ANYMORE , and the warm welcoming you have read of its non existence .
so definitely the place doesn't make you feel like home what so ever , not even a little , at the time im reviewing this place and location , the place also seems like it is in his last days of existance , cause the place looks let over and also seems they dont care about the aspect of the place.
THE HOSTEL IS NEAR THE BEACH , that is true.
THE HOSTEL IS NOT GIVING YOU BREAKFAST ANYMORE , you have to pay for it , the last host larissa used to do it , but the new host and administration doesnt , and booking tells you that they have good puntuation in breakfast , but thats a lie , cause they dont give tou breakfast no more.
important to mention that , if you as a traveler have your own car or means of transport , you habe to let your car in the street in front of the hostel , they dont offer you a private parking.
And what I hated the most was that the beds are garbage, the mattress is super thin, you can feel the same structure of the bed against your column, and if you move the bed makes noise and squeals.
1. lying about giving breakfast
2. very bad beds , they are too thin
3. no private parking or security for your car
4. 100 % boring place and staff
5. not a place for couples or elder people

The place and the people in charge
Garbage on the streets and the beach that was a dismay,to say the least.

Larissa (the Host) was super friendly and the house itself is pretty nice as well. It‘s super close to the Beach and just next to the Hostel is a nice pizza restaurant. there‘s also a nice but more expensive beach bar at the beach.
A fan in the dorm would have been nice because the AC wasn‘t working very well.

Trixie, the host, was one of the best hostel owners I've ever come across. She made staying here extremely welcoming, and fun. It's across the street from the beach.

Even though dogs and people ran in and out. Trixi always tries to keep the place clean. Important in these days...
