Location
We booked online with booking dot com and paid 490.00 for 3 adults and one child ( for one night ) get there to check in and was told we only paid for two adults for a night and were charged another 150.00 so for 650.00 for a night for a room that is just a demountable building. The receptionist said they do get this happen a lot on booking dot com I feel this is a scam to make more money as once your there we’re do you go if you say your not paying it , we had come up for my mother in laws funeral and only had 1 hour to get ready once checking in so no chance of finding other accommodation in that time . I was then told it was the most luxurious accommodation in North Queensland! These people need to get out more there was nothing luxurious about it . The bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor . Throws at the end of the bed looked to have dried semen stains on them .

Great location, modern features, clean. We found the traffic noise to be absolutely fine once we popped the shutters down.
Uncomfortable bed- Bed felt rock hard with a sheet of plastic on top.
Only had a few squares of toilet paper on the roll so ran out very quickly. Perhaps could be an idea to pop a spare one in a draw?

Location
The cost and lack of any additional touches. For the price of the accommodation a couple of slices of bread and a couple of eggs or even a complimentary biscuit would of been nice.

Clean, cosy and very welcoming upon arrival. Apartment was well maintained and almost all amenities were provided. staff were attentive and helpful. we had a great 2 night stay albeit the traffic noise. would recommend to anyone who is keen to holiday in Yungaburra.

Nice friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms. Good location in quiet village
Advertised on booking.com that could take 4 adults, with 2 on sofa bed. But this was very cramped, I'd recommend this be amended to 2 plus 1 adult or 2 children under 12 max. But not ideal.
Pricing was very expensive for what you get - paid 50% less for many other places of similar size around FNQ. I suppose it's billed as luxury, but with such limited facilities not quite at that level.
Kitchenette is basically a sink and microwave - not enough to do basic breakfast cooking - I suggest a simple plug in induction hob from Kmart($50) plus a couple of pans would make a difference.
